How do I keep family members from locking or erasing a devce while viewing it from find My iPhone?
I have just subscribed to family sharing. I notice that when I sign into find my iPhone using a family member's device, all devices are visible. This is could be helpful and convenient, but I don't like the idea that family members can lock and erase anyone's device. How do I prevent this without turning off find my iPhone?
Family sharing allows you to see each other's location and device. It isn't their iCloud account, which is where locking or erasing could be done with their account password.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.

If so, not good, you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

I have another account that i can't delete off my phone because lost my recovery key and password. How do i get rid of this account? it will not let me turn off find my iphone and delete account. Can anyone help?

From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.

There is nothing you can do now. There are apps available from the app store that would give you that information if installed before it was lost/stolen.

Try these two ways to fix the iPhone (in order). If neither works, you would have to take it to the store.
1. Reset the iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons togehter for about 10 seconds. If it works, you'll get the Apple logo and then something good should happen.
2. Try recovery mode as described here:

How do I remove family members from my Apple_ID without losing content?
I was told by the Apple Genius that my wife and son could use the same Apple_ID that I use. This has created a lot of problems with duplicate contacts and also with sending and receiving messages.
Are all of 'our' contacts stored on the icloud?
Should I create new Apple _IDs for my wife and son?
Will they have to re-enter their contacts into there phones?

How to unlink a phone number
To remove a phone number from an Apple ID, sign out of FaceTime and Messages on your iPhone. Sign out in the following locations:
- Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
- Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
This should remove your phone number from other devices using the same Apple ID with FaceTime and Messages.
If the phone number is still available on other devices after you sign out of FaceTime and iMessage on the iPhone, you may need to sign out of iMessage and FaceTime on all your devices, then sign in to FaceTime and Messages again on devices you want to use.
Note: If you no longer have access to the iPhone that is using the number you want to remove, reset your Apple ID password.
In regard to your iTunes Account/Apple ID: You can manage the devices that have been associated with your Apple ID (iTunes Account) from “View My Account”:

To remove a device or computer from your Apple ID:
1. Open iTunes.
2. Sign in to your Apple ID by choosing Store > Sign In from the iTunes menu.
3. Choose Store > View My Account from the iTunes menu.

5. Click the Remove button next to the device name you would like to unassociate.
Note: Removing a device from your Apple ID does not override the 90 day timer. The timer must complete 90 days from the day the device was associated before it can be associated to another Apple ID.

I am the administrator on our family computer with 3 other family member logins. I have downloaded the app for pages but how can I allow the other users access to it? I am a computer novice so i need some advice.
If Pages and the other applicatioins installed in the Applications in the root directory they can be used by everyone. By default all programs installed by the App store are installed in the Applications folder in the root. In other words, your family members should be able to use the programs. Can they not?

Found the Solution to my problem. Just had to put cursor on the corners of the open window and "stretch" the window to the left, to the right, then up only to the point of the screen where the "Menu" is still visible. This solved the problem I had. Thanks.

I have never seen a router like you have and I wouldn't dare advise you about changing the settings. It appears that it is a router/modem that was provided by your ISP. If this is the case, I recommend that you call your ISP and ask them for Port Forwarding assistance. You need to forward port 80 to the LAN IP address of your camera. The LAN IP address of your camera is the IP address that you use to log into the web interface. You should not need to change any settings on the camera. After you have had the ISP help you forward the port to the camera, go to ipchicken.com and you will see your WAN IP address. Write that address down and then go to a remote location and type it into your web browser. You should get the login page of the camera. Note that your WAN IP is subject to change. You can ask your ISP to provide you with a static IP address which will be an additional charge each month but your IP address will not change. Another option is to use a service such as dyndns to create a unique URL that you can use to access the camera remotely even if your WAN IP address changes. We can discuss that after you get access to the camera if you have further questions. -

Can't remove iPhone from My Apple ID because it doesn't appear in Find My iPhone
I gave away my iPhone 5. It is now associated with someone else's Apple ID. It does not appear in Find My iPhone, but it DOES show up in My Apple ID. And so Apple wants to send verification codes to it.
I confirmed with the current owner that it is backed up and Find My iPhone is enabled. (But I'm sure it's associated with her Apple ID.)
The support documents suggest that the only way to remove it is from Find My iPhone. Is it now impossible to ever remove it from my Apple ID, since it doesn't appear there? Or is there some secret way to accomplish this?IS your iMessage turned on, does it say activated, are you signed into it?
Settings > Messages > Make sure iMessage is turned on and DOES NOT SAY "waiting for activation"
Settings > Messages > Send/Recieve at > Make sure you're signed in and it shows your phone number checked
