How do I keep my images from moving in browser ?

Can anyone tell me if there is a solution to keeping multiple images from moving as the size of the browser is made larger or smaller. I am in the jewelry business and when I have multiple images, and a customer makes the browser window larger or smaller, it of course moves the images out of position and mixes everything up on different lines. As opposed to a site like Bluenile.com which images stay stationary as the browser window moves. I did try to make all my images on "one image" in Photoshop and that does seem to do what I want as far as the images go, but then I cant add links to individual pictures within that page. Please help !

You're using a liquid layout based on percentages that resizes with browser viewport. As Ned said, a fixed width Table would be one approach. Another would be to use a Fixed Width CSS grid like this one (view page source to see the code)

How can I keep pictures images from opening up in the body of an email

Every time I attach a pic in mac mail, it opens in the body of the email. I never had this issue with Outlook.
I typically attach several pics at a time, the email becomes very messy. Any suggestions on how to keep it from opening.
I am using jpeg images.

It depends.
When you copy an image from a website in Firefox (right-click > Copy Image), Firefox stores the HTML code that website is using to display the image. Then when you paste into Yahoo mail, Yahoo uses that code to display the image in your message, by linking out to the source site.
However, if you copy the image from a source other than a web page, Yahoo mail (webmail interface) can't use this technique and although it sometimes seems to show the image in the post, when I send, I just get a strange "inline image" notation in its place.
If you access your Yahoo mail on a device in a dedicated mail client, then you usually would have more options because the mail program will encode the image into the message.

How do I keep a table from moving within a spreadsheet?

It seem that some of my tables tend to move up slightly over time, and I have to keep moving them back. Is this something that I am accidentally doing or is there a way to lock the tables in place without actually locking them. To be clear, they are not moving from one sheet to another sheet just up the sheet they are on.

The only work around to this is to move the table you are working on to the right or below the "Other" tables on your sheet. When you resize columns or rows Numbers tries to "help" by moving other tables-- I think it is annoying too!

How do I keep Grayscale images from converting to CMYK

I created my file in Framemaker 7.2 and imported Black and White grayscale images, when I wrote the postscript to create a PDF everything was fine until I did the preflight only to learn that my images have converted to CMYK...These graphics need to print grayscale not CMYK. I am working from the PC and this is a very large document.

What format were the images in?
Unless they were EPS or PDF formats, then FM7.2 would have converted
everything to RGB on output, not CMYK.
To get true postscript greys from equal RGB values, you must
configure your PDF printer instance to output postscript grey.
In the Printer control panel, select the Adobe PDF, then right-click
and select Properties.
Then on the Device Settings tab, set the following:
Convert Gray Text to PostScript Gray: YES
Convert Gray Graphics to PostScript Gray: YES
Click OK to set.

How do I keep a "table" from Moving?

I converted a series of existing "tables" to a different format so that I could use automatic totaling n the footer. I did this by creating the new table and copying the old data into it. The spreadsheet works fine, and I deleted the original. It left me with two minor issues I would like to resolve. First on the main screen instead of a picture of the spreadsheet which it used to have, it now is just a blank grey icon. And secondly when I open up any of the associated tables, they no longer line up in the upper right corner of the screen, and I have to always move them. I would like to be able to "lock" the spreadsheet and its associated headers in place, and just be able to move the body of the spreadsheet as needed. This is all done on a Ipad, btw.

There seems to be a design assumption in the iOS Numbers version that you don't care about alignment until it comes time to Print. I'm not impressed by the iPod Touch Numbers experience so I don't have much love for it, and I share your frustration with maintaining the arrangement of objects. Why not send feedback to the engineers and suggest that they work on that aspect of the interface? Apple.com/feedback

How do you keep in image/photo from sliding throughout a movie on iMovie?

I'm creating an audio movie using a picture as a background, but there is one problem. As soon as I hit play, the song begins to play while the picture slowly starts moving in any direction.
How do I keep the image from moving, rather staying motionless as in Windows Movie Maker. I tried turning off the Ken Crops effect to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Select the photo. Click on the Rotate, Crop, Ken Burns Tool. Instead of Ken Burns, choose FIT or CROP. Fit will letterbox, Crop will fill the screen by cutting of the edges.
You can also go into Project Properties and set the default action to Fit or Crop instead of Ken Burns. Then any additional photos you add will be imported the way you want them.

connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.

How do I view multiple images from different projects at the same time?

I've been trying to find the answer in the user manual, but no luck so far.
I did find how to open 2 projects at once, but I can only see one image at a time in the viewer and I have to keep going back and forth between projects to compare images. (These are scans of old photos and I want to eliminate the ones that are poorer quality, so need to compare numerous images from 2 sets of scans)
How can I view an image from one project at the same time as an image from another? I know that it can be done in the same project by apple-clicking the second, third etc image, but this doesn't work if the images are from different projects.

I've now created an album, independent of the projects, and dragged test images into it and it does just the job I needed. Now i just need to keep my brain sorted with which ones are which while i'm working

Sorry, by mapped i meant what you described above...changing my designated media folder to the one on the new EHD.
I did try holding in the option/alt key as suggested by apple elsewhere in the forum but only opened the a window indicating where the shortcut file is located i.e. the iTunes.exe properties window. I tried the shift key too as well as several other but could not get the window asking me to choose a library.
Tried to copy a screen grab in but it doesnt allow me to.
When i opened the player after moving the folder there was nothing in my libraries except for a few purchesed songs and movies saved on icloud. I got my music in by going to file>add folder, and selected the music folder on the new drive. This "imported" my music to the player.
I must mention also i am using Win8 and the latest version of iTunes, but i live is South Africa and ive noticed my laptop keyboard keys/functions on the HP are different from previous computers i have used.
Where should the playlst files reside when using an EHD? Still on the main computer or on the new EHD?

Here's the issue. Kids got themselves into some trouble on iPods. TeresaBoo, I empathize with your dilemma and have a similar problem. I'm trying desperately to keep my teenage daughter away from a controlling and abusive boyfriend. Of course, she is in denial and thinks it's love. Sure, I can block text messages through our wireless provider, but iMessages run on an independent network. I can block a phone number from iMessaging on her phone, but she can unblock it just as easily. I wish there was some way for parents to create a password to protect settings. No, you can authorize any number of email addresses on your Apple Id and then select one of those to use as an alternate Send and Recieve for Messages. It isn't necessary to use seperate AppleIDs. I use my phone number on my iPhone and an email address on the iPad.
