How do I keep setting when reinstalling PSE 11

My hard drive just died. I have backed up all my files and photos. How do I keep my setting such as tagged photos and albums in Photoshop Elements 11 when I reload PSE 11 on a new hard drive?

There are two libraries. One is the system, the other in your Home Folder.
Open a Finder window. Select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. It has a little house icon.
Then open the Library folder, then the Caches folder then the com.apple.Safari folder. The cache.db file is there.
Note. Your Home Folder path is this: ~/Library
System folder is this: /Library
Note the ~ Tilde character in front of the Library. That denotes your Home Folder.

yes, u need to back up your itunes setting before reinstall ur pc. here is how to do it.
1.go to your my music folder.
2.open itunes folder
3.u have 2 files present there (iam not sure about the name of those files, but they are your songlist files)
copy those 2 files and keep it in safe place, may be in some other drive.
4. after reinstall your pc, install ur itunes
5. then replace the 2 files in the itunes folder with your backup one, then open ur itunes, that's it.

1)Only way to transfer your Notes is to copy and paste manually. (Do it on your desktop browser at www.icloud.com, its much easier)
2)Another way is to keep the iCloud account that contains your notes as a secondary iCloud account.

How do I keep leading when importing a Microsoft Word document to indesign?

I have a long document in Word that has some simple styles applied to it (a few colors and different fonts) but when I try to place it in my indesign file, the leading changes. Everything else stays the same. Any idea why it changes? I thought leading is one attribute that's supposed to import if I have "preserve styles and formatting for text" setting checked in indesign...

Migintosh, I hadn't thought of that, but turns out that is my problem. I seems when I place the file, indesign in automatically changing those values. Is there a way to force indesign keep those at 0 (or whatever value I want) as I place the text? Right now, what happens is I place the text and then have to select all and manually set the before and after to 0 since indesign decides to change the after spacing to 0.1389.

16-9 ratio, how do I keep it when I burn a dvd?

I have a canon gl2 camcorder. You have a choice of recording in either 3-4 or 16-9 ratio. I recorded in the 16-9 ratio. When I download to imovie, the dialogue there states it is indeed the 16-9 format. so after I edit the movie, I save in quicktime best quality and burn a dvd. When I play it on my tv, I expected it to be the 16-9 ratio. My tv is not a wide screen model. But since I recorded it in the 16-9 ratio and also edited in this format I thought that was what I was going to get, the same thing happens when I use dvd player on my computer. when I rent commercial videos that are in letterbox format, that is what I get on my tv set. How do I maintain this format, is it imovie, quicktime or what?

That's your problem. You should just drag the iMovie project file into the iDVD window.
(There is a bug in the export, so the exported video lost its "widescreen" flag.)
And there is also a menu option in iDVD to make a widescreen DVD.

I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 11 - on a Windows 8 PC - and when I RENDER high quality still images, some video's and simple effects - it DROPS the quality and the image and video become GRAINY.
How do I RENDER without losing quality?

I pull an Still Image from my files - it’s 300dpi. I size it to 1900x1200 (roughly). I go to put it in place and a warning comes on that ask if I want to “auto fix” the clip.
I say no. I drop it in to the timeline and it looks great. I go to Render it - and I can see it change, drop in quality and get grainy by the time the render is finished.
I’M NOT PLAYING IT FULL SCREEN. For some reason - it’s not accepting some high quality images?
My Project Settings are; 1920/1080 --- 30fps DROP frame (should it be Non-Drop?) -- Capture is HDV and Video Rendering is only marked at "Optimize Stills"
IT’S NOT A PROBLEM WHEN I BURN TO DVD - IT’S ALREADY BEEN RENDERED AT POOR QUALITY AT THAT TIME. It’s something in the clip that the system thinks it needs fixing when I drop it in. When I say “no” it drops in perfect.
I've been using DVD to burn a disc - that works fine.

HELP! HOW DO I KEEP LOGIC WHEN UPGRADING FROM TIGER TO SNOW LEOPARD!

So I use a later macbook but have another slightly older one (got it in 2007) that kinda kicked the bucket. I'm now able to use it again (with a new setup). I have Logic express (an older version) but the macbook is running that last version of tiger before leopard. I want to upgrade to snow leopard (which i've learned I can from tiger directly for the low price) but I don't want to lose logic since I payed for it and don't have the install discs anymore.
I don't mind getting rid of everything else but I want to keep the actual program on the comp and just run it in SL. What specifically do I have to do (as far as backing up and all that) to CLEANLY upgrade from tiger to SL but keep logic? I'll have an external HD by the time I'm ready so keep that in consideration.

I have never used Logic Express so I can't help you but if you to the Logic Express Forum and repost over there you might be able to find someone who knows about Logic Express to help you.

My company have recently changed email signatures to one that includes a lot of images. When you send an email from Outlook the image displays perfectly on iphone 5-so good so far! However when you try to reply to an email from iphone the images are not included in the reply and the signature looks untidy.
If I click forward instead of reply on my iphone, I am given the option to "include attachments from the original message?". If I click "include" then the forwarded email signature appears as it should; if I click "don't include" the email signature does not display the images correctly as above.
Is there a way to have the "include attachments from original message?" option when replying to emails on iphone 5 (iOS 6.1.4)?

Right-click the page, choose View Page Info, and click the Permissions tab. There you can turn off automatic loading of images (uncheck Use default first to enable the controls). Any luck?
There might be a way to restore that more direct right-click menu item if you need it frequently, but I haven't researched it.
To clean up a page for printing, you also could consider an add-on like the following: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/print-edit/ Print Edit :: Add-ons for Firefox]. Then you wouldn't have to re-enable images each time.

If possible I would arrange for a good service center to go over it. Hopefully they have a variety of parts in stock. They can test and verify all is working. The previous attempts are based on guesses by the person at the other end of the phone without diagnostic tests to assess the culprit. It is extremely unlikely for a webcam to fail & for it & a Mic to fail together should be an indicator to a good technician it is something else. EG Motherboard

How do I set the NPLC on a Agilent 34970A then keep it set when I do a Temp measurement on the channels

I have an Agilent 34970A DAQ that I am trying to set the NPLC to 10 and keep it set when I issue a temp measurement command to the channels. Right now I can issue the NPLC 10 command to set the channels and it works but when I send the measure channels command the NPLC gets set back to 1. What am I missing to keep this from happening?

I don't think you can set the NPLC to 0, the minimum value is 0.02. Maybe VEE automatically set it to the minimum value. Instead use NPLC MIN.
Now if you use the MEAS? command to read the value the instrument will use the default value for the type of measurement if you don't specify the resolution (not the integration time, if you look at the 34970A documentation you will see how they relate) which is probably set to NPLC 1.
If you want to speed up things you may look at the ROUT: SCAN and READ? commands to define a scan list.
