How do I Keep the "zoom" size setting the same each time I open Safari and from web page to web page?

I have a 27" iMac when I open Safari the web page is only 1/3 the size of the full screen Safari window. I know how to ZOOM in on the web page! My question is, How do I keep this ZOOM setting for all web pages and each time I open Safari up?

Sorry, but that's not possible.
An alternative might be to use Zoom in System Preferences > Accessibility
Or try a different screen resolutioin in System Preferences > Displays > Scaled

This is part of Lion's Resume feature (I assume you are on Lion).
A couple of things you can do: System Preferences>General and deselect 'Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps'.
Also when you shutdown or restart make sure the following is unticked:

Error message: URL's with the type "file:" are not supported. I get this pop-up twice each time I enter Safari and Mail.

Everytime I go into Mail and/or Safari, I receive a pop-up the states "There was a problem connecting to the server. URL's with the type "File:" are not supported. The pop-up comes up twice each time and I have to click "ok" to close them. Only started after install of OS Lion 10.7. Any one else have this and is there a solution. It is just plain irrating that is does this each time I check my mail or go on the internet. Thanks!

Are you talking about the UI font size, or the font size you're using to type things into documents?
If the latter, just select the T tool, and without a document open change the font, etc. to your preference. Then quit/close Photoshop. Next time you open it you should be using that font/size.
If that's not working for you, something may be wrong with the saving of your preferences files.

After one enters the Date/Time in Pages '09, the Edit Date & Time item on the contextual menu provides a checkable Automatically update on open. Every version of Pages v5 lacks this capability, and the auto-update setting will be ignored in a Pages '09 document opened in Pages v5.

How do I get the tabs to have the correct name of the webpage without having to reconfigure each time I open the browser

Ever since I downloaded the latest Firefox, the tabs for various web pages are often misnamed. For instance, I'll be visiting a page and the tab will be named Google or Wikipedia or the name of a Firefox page! I have to click the tab to see what page I have loaded. When I'm working in a browser with several tabs going, I'd like to see the correct name of the page ON THE TAB.
I've gone in under tools and tried to assign the appropriate names of the web pages but this is ridiculous! Not only is it a waste of time to have to configure the correct name for each web page I visit, but it will revert back to the incorrect default names mentioned above.
In older Firefox browsers this was NEVER a problem. Is it because the latest Firefox doesn't like Windows XP? Please give me a good and final fix for this. Like I said, I've tried to reconfigure the names of the tabs, but the names don't stick.

You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. IE 8 and 9 has a feature to set the magnification and i set mine to 150% which works perfectly for me. I wonder if Firefox has a similar feature.
