We did recently release an update for our Adobe Reader application. The current version if 10.1.4. You can confirm if you have the latest version installed by choosing Help > About Adobe Reader (Win) or Adobe Reader > About Adobe Reader (Mac).

You don't. Apple does not sell parts. The only way the shop could have used genuine parts would have been by cannibalizing broken phones.

Two things, bushmanernie (love the name)
First what version of Lion are you running and have you downloaded any Combo updates since you installed it.
Second; I see you only have 10.6.2 in your profile. You might like to update it.
I don't have Lion myself but I'm guessing you don't have the very latest version. You can check what should be available through the opening Apple support page > downloads.

How do I disable Adobe Update??

I need to know how to disable Adobe Update so it only runs when I want it to run. I saw that my i7-920 24gig machine was using 100% of cpu tonight. Im running on a 12 hour old fresh install of Win7 64bit and was immediately concerned when i saw how much cpu was being used. When I checked system resources, I saw that it was adobe update that was using 99% of all the resources. I cant have this. Please tell me how I can disable adobe update from running without me initializing it.

You can also follow the article: Disable auto-updates | Application Manager | IT administrators which will help you to disable the updates for all Adobe Products.

I have an airport express extending, through wireless, a network provided by an airport extreme. How can I know which clients are connected to my network through express and which are connected through extreme?
Here you can see both routers:
I would expect to some clients connected to the express, other than the extreme. And that's all I see: only the airport extreme appears as client of the airport express.
Below, one can see the summary of the config for both routers.
Would somebody explain it?

There is no way to view a list of authorised computers. You can only tell a computer is authorised from that computer itself, from the store menu in iTunes.

How do I know which plugins are needed

Mozilla's newsletter has just prompted me to check my Firefox plugins. It found five that were up-to-date, all of which I recognise - sort of. I was surprised though that it found another 10 which it said were "unknown" and prompted me to "research". Some of these were pretty blue-chip, like McAfee SecurityCenter, and Google Update - some don't mean much to me. Four are "Real"Something.
I guess I should get rid of those I don't need. My problem is - how do I know what I need? If I disable RealJukeBox, am I likely to find that something I use suddenly stops working? Clicking "Research" may tell me how to remove a plugin, but does not seem to tell me what it does and what uses it. (I think BBC iPlayer uses RealPlayer, so I probably should not remove that.)

Find the ap in the App Store and tap on it to see more info. There will be a section with minimum system requirements.

I updated to iOS 5.0.1 days ago and didn't receive that notification until just now...
This time I synced new photos I took yesterday, and it gave me the:
"iTunes Sync: 54 items could not be synced. See iTunes for more information"
Perhaps it kicks off when new items get synced.
I've decided to rent a movie yesterday. Once it gets deleted, I'm curious to see if it jumps to 55 items.

How should I know if the download I agreed to this morning was ligitimate? The message said version 10 with a 2 or something. But I see no changes in anything now. I am currently running version 9 (apparently). I find it annoying when asked and just went ahead and said YES (please go away). Clues?

There is only an Adobe Reader 9 icon on the desktop, and there is only a version 9 program in my programs files. Like I said, no evidence of version 10. What downloaded did have numbers something like 10.0.2 There is an icon in the program files that reads after clicking that a version of Adobe AIR is needed and not there. Again, everything is working fine otherwise. It's just that I did not ask for this at any time in the past, so I kinda resent Adobe having a program that pops up uncontrolled and unexpectedly, downloads something upon my clicking yes, and then disappears. Again, I'm not a computer-guy; everyone needs Reader for basic downloading of documents, but I'd prefer leaving it up to me and when I can't download documents any more, then I'd do something (an appropriate time for something to invite me to update). So when I'm invited (and not even on line) and I do something and get nothing, I just get slightly concerned. I should have kept responding "no" forever or until my version 9 stopped working. But in reality, if something toxic had gotten that far into my computer, would it have asked me to download something (with an Adobe face), or would it just go ahead and continue "infecting"? How do I disable "Adobe Updater"?

After installing Reader, my security software keeps telling me that "Adobe Updater" is trying to access the Internet. I prefer to make all updates manually, and not have any programs download and install them by their own direction without my consent. Even after uninstalling Reader, the message still comes up, I assume my Adobe plugins (Shockwave and Flash) are keeping it running. How can I permanently kill this process?

Should have specified this: I'm running Windows XP.
EDIT: Heh, figured it out myself by just bothering to glance at the taskbar. Even though the program had been uninstalled, the updater process was stuck in some sort of loop, where it was trying to connect but kept getting denied by my computer. I just had to click cancel to get rid of it.
It's fine if a mod wants to delete this now.

Use map loader to download some maps to my N96 then decided I wanted to download some more-how do I know which maps have been downloaded to my device to avoid duplication? Cant seem to be able to check!
Oh and how do I know where map loader is putting my maps on my device?

Correct on your first point but if you download Ireland one week and then again a week later you might just be re-installing the same Map.
Map Loader doesn't say if and when Maps are updated.
