How do I know an e-mail is received?

I periodically send out e-mails to a group (contact list) and was wondering if there is a way for me to know when those I have sent the e-mail to has received it, or clicked on it. Is there a way that when this occurs that a message is automatically sent to me, without the receiver having to manually send me one.

As mentioned, there is no reliable receipt notification in mail. Even looking at your mail logs to see the message sent to the remote server doesn't tell you when (or if) the end user saw the message.
The 'best' solution to this is to use HTML messages that include a web-bug - a small embedded image with a unique URL that tracks back to the recipient - such as http://your.server.net/image-someuniquestringthatidentifiestherecipient.gif.
Now the unique string could be the recipient's email address ([email protected]) or some encoded string that makes it more subtle - image-3jh12jasjjaw.gif. Then you can review your web server logs for the list of images served and decode the URLs to work out who saw the message and when.
This approach does mean you need to generate each message independently (otherwise everyone gets the same image URL and you can't differentiate between them). It's also not perfect - many mail clients (including Mail.app) allow users to defer loading of HTML images in which case the user may see the mail but not download the tracker.

In iTunes use Store > View My Account to view your purchase history. If needed enable the menu bar with CTRL+B. The email may indicate an unauthorised purchase or it may in fact be part of an attempt to compromise your account.

I don't know of any email program that will do that, unless it is a client of Lotus Notes or some other proprietary email system. However, part of the process of sending an email is acknowledgment so you know the message got sent and is sitting on the recipient's server. After that, there is no way to know if your recipient ever logs in and gets the message.

I sent an important message and assumed it was opened and viewed but had no way of knowing. This guy seldom responds but the work usually gets done. Recently it did not and he states he never got the message that I still have in my sent box. It's too important not to know if he see's it or not. Any ideas?

I think the CRM_EMAIL_OUTLOOK transaction is for groupware integration. In our scenario we have maintained routing rules on the exchange server(Domino). I think you also need to maintain routing rules on exchange server.
This will forward all the e-mails sent to the e-mail id you have configured in ERMS. On receiving the e-mail relevent ERMS workflows will be triggered and actions configured in rule modeler will be fired. You can check this on SAP note no. 455140

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I upgraded my iOS to 5 on my original iPad. Now I have messaging. However, I have no idea who in my 300 contacts have signed up. Some apps have a way of searching your contacts or Facebook friends to see if they have access to certain games like Words with Friends... You are right. It's just inconvenient to go through them one at a time. Then a month from now to try to remember which of their email addresses was the one for their apple id or hmmm,.. Was it one of their phone #'s that I sent it to. We need an app! Remember AIM instant messaging, and you had a list of active participants? We need something like that, because just looking at a phone#, it could be an iPhone or not...

Yes. Delete the Apps that were not Purchased using Your Apple ID.
But a Restore as New is the way to go.

It sounds like you are looking for a program like Typinator.
It isn't free, and the site doesn't specify compatibility with any OS above 10.7.
As of today, the latest release is dated May 29th, 2012.

I see there were several missteps both by the reps and yourself in your post. First you should have insisted on returning the phone within the 14 day return policy period. Second which Samsung Galaxy mini model did you purchase? The S3 mini or the S4 mini? Did you do any research prior to deciding on this device. The reps at that time deflected the easiest course of action, by trying to get you to replace the phone under insurance instead of returning the phone. The Early Edge payment option requires the current phone on the line using the early Edge must be returned to Verizon Wireless. Did you once considered going to a third party site like Swappa to purchase a gently used device for your daughter?
