How do I know Firefox has the latest phishing/attack database?
I want to make sure that the phishing database is up to date, because my firewall or sandbox might be blocking it.

How do I prevent firefox installing the latest version on my system?
I have done a custom install and selected the option to not install the maintenance service. I have also verified that my update is checked to "never update". When I start firefox from a fresh boot of my system, it auto-updates me to version 34.
Is there anyway to prevent this??

I want the latest driver for USB 3.0 (i bought a usb 3.0 HDD and i want the best performance).There are no User Upgradeabl;e drivers on a Mac. They are all supplied by Apple in the OS. Even if they are old and there were newer ones available you could not install them.

Hi, I have one computer that just updated to Version 29. My other computer is on Version 28, but says it has "the latest version of Firefox". How do I fix? I would like to take advantage of the sync features.
Firefox 29 (beta) has the new 1.5 version of Sync, where Firefox 28 (earlier) uses the previous version of Sync. Once a Sync account has been upgraded to the new 1.5 version of Sync it won't connect with a pre-29 version of Firefox. So you are looking at a 6 week period of incompatibility, until your release version is updated to Firefox 29.
On a positive note, the new version has a greatly simplified ''(for the user)'' method of adding new devices to an existing Sync account and for re-connecting a device that was "un-linked" from the Sync server. The 3rd authentication "key" - using the Sync Key - has been eliminated. The data encryption "key" will be created (and "compared" at time of login) using the account / user name and the account password; the 3rd key won't be needed by the user. -

How will having another icloud email benefit me. I have my work email which is all i require, but had to set up a @me account to get email on my Macbook.

My notes are duplicated, i have to delete my emails individually on all devices so whenever i put my phone on, all the emails i have deleted at work re-appear on my phone and again the same thing happens on my Macbook pro. I seem to spend all my time deleting emails 3 times.
Is there something simple in the set up of these that i am missing?

Error message when connecting to iTunes says my new iPad 4 can't be connected as it requires version 10.7 or later. Surely a new iPad already has the latest version, and if it doesn't how do I get it?
Not the iPad - your computer must be running iTunes 10.7 in order to sync. It has nothing to do with iTunes on the iPad.

From reading on the internet, it appears that when there is a spike in memory usage, AVG "interprets" that as a memory leak, possibly caused by malware. AVG could be incorrect concerning that assumption. Maybe they are being a bit too conservative about memory usage; just my opinion.

My Yahoo Mail in Firefox now won't give me the name list in the To/CcBcc fields which has been working fine.

How do I send my photos on my iPhone 3, which has the latest upgrade, to iCloud? I cannot find an option.
You can only view your photo stream photos from a device or computer that is signed into your account with photo stream enabled, not from icloud.com. If you backed up your phone, the camera roll photos on your phone would be included in the backup, but cannot be seen unless you restore the backup to your phone.
However, you shouldn't try to use iCloud to back up your photos. Photo stream photos only remain in iCoud for 30 days. And if you back up yoru phone to iCloud, then delete your photos, you next backup will overwrite the backup that contains the photos you deleted and they would be lost.
To back up your photos, import them to your computer using your usb cable as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. -
