How do i know if a page is bookmarked

When I bookmark a page, I see the star turns blue; however, when I return to that page, how can I tell if the page has been bookmarked before.
Before the update, there would be a yellow star on the address bar. That is no longer available.

The star on the Navigation Toolbar is highlighted blue when you are on a tab that is bookmarked.

The problem is:
I have an error page that writes exception info on the screen:
StringWriter sw = new StringWriter();
PrintWriter pw = new PrintWriter(sw);

String msg = sw.toString();
It works fine, and usualy in the msg I have all info about the page that the exception ocured in.
But when it is an SQL exception, I don't know what jsp page made that SQL call.
So I want to print the path of the page previous to the error page.

In iBooks if I have more bookmarks than can fit on a single page, how do I access the second page of bookmarks?

In iBooks when I access the Table of Contents and select Bookmarks sometimes my list of bookmarks and Highlites & Notes is larger than can be displayed on a single page of the screen. How can I access the list of additional Bookmarks and Notes that are were not displayed? Trying to tap for the next page gives no response. Am I limited to a list that only fits on one page of the screen?

How can i know about the page breaks that occur in excel sheet during report gen

I am trying to generate an Excel report with a large number of columns. and i am facing the problem of some of the columns not fitting into the page due to the page break. as a result, these columns are being printed at the end of the report. I would like to add the Row and Column headers to the remaining of the columns so that it is easy to recognise as to which table they belong to. i would like to know if there is any method to find out when the page break occurs in the excel sheet, along with the last printed column number, so that it would be easy for me to add the Row and Column headers before the next row/column is printed.

I have tried to find a way to do what you are asking, but have been unsuccessful. However, you can control where the page breaks occur by using the "New Report Page.vi". You can call this VI after appending the table to the report, and specify the cell where you wish to insert a new page break (using the "position" or "name" elements of the "MS office parameters" input). If you know the page size and you specify the column widths, you should be able to pick reasonable places to start a new page.

Great! I have about 20 pages on my web page I only want 5 in my navigation and the rest I will send people to via the web address...little problem I don't know the web address is for any of the pages not on the navigation bar

Welcome to the forum, the URL of the pages will be the same as the URL for the other pages but with the name of the pages that are hidden i.e the name you have in the sidebar of iweb.

It's dead simple! If you sign up for a Firefox Account, you can use Firefox Sync to automatically copy your bookmarks over. Here's an article on how it works:

Just follow the instructions the article. You might find it easiest to sign up for a Firefox Account on your PC and then log in to your account on your phone - but you can do it either way around.
On Android, Firefox will automatically show "tiles" with your recently visited sites, instead of a homepage.

Find pages without bookmarks

I was wondering if anyone has an idea on how to search a document for pages without bookmarks? I have a client that has a need for this and have not been able to come up with a way (other than visiting every page manually) to quickly determine this.

There's alot of grunt work involved in using 5 templates in a 500-page site any way you cut it. I usually recommend that you not use templates for sites larger than 100 pages, and I rarely use more than one template. This requires lots of thought in preparation of the template!
The best and most trouble-free way of bringing non-templated pages into template control is to follow this scheme:
1. Open the original page.
2. Spawn a new page from the template.
3. Copy content from the old page and paste it into the new page.
4. Close the old page and save the new page with the old page's name thereby overwriting it.
Any other method will run afoul of the dreaded Inconsistent Regions Dialog which is to be avoided if possible!

How do I know if my iphone has successfully been backed up to my iTunes? I plugged it in and it said it backed up and I did a sync, but when I am looking through the summary page and I am not sure that all of my data got backed up. Please help!!

I have never backed up my iphone to my itunes because I always used the cloud. However, a few months ago, my wifi disk in my phone burned out so the Apple Store told me to back up everything to my itunes. I am going today to get the iphone 6 so I connected my phone (iphone 4S) to my itunes and I backed up and synced. However, when I look throughout the summary page and click in different areas (Photos, Movies), I don't see any of my data -- it is still asking me to Sync from iPhoto or to sync from another location. By backing up & syncing my phone, did all of my data get saved? Or do I still need to do more steps?
Sorry for the long winded question, I am just so nervous to get a new phone and plug it in to be restored and not have any of my pictures, videos or contacts, etc. Any help would be so so appreciated!

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

It's a JavaScript scam that only affects your web browser, and only temporarily.
1. Some of those scam pages can be dismissed very easily. Press command-W to close the tab or window. A huge box will pop up. Press the return key and both the box and the page will close. If that doesn't happen, continue.
2. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and uncheck the box marked Enable JavaScript. Leave the preferences dialog open.
Close the malicious window or tab.
Re-enable JavaScript and close the preferences dialog.
3. If the Preferences menu item is grayed out, quit Safari. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. From the menu bar, select

Unfortunately, we do not have any VIs in LabVIEW that can figure out the number of pages of a standard report. However, with the use of ActiveX calls you can achieve this task. Here are a couple of discussion forums which discuss this:

How does oracle know which AO Framework page or process to execute. I use to think this was defined in the Function definition. But looking through some Function definition in HRMS setup I noticed some of them simply calling the same first page, such as the one below used in many managers menus. This initial page is the page that allows managers to choose the employee they want to work on.
OA.jsp?akRegionCode=HR_PERSON_TREE_TOP_SS&akRegionApplicationId=800.
My question is, after executing this initial page, how does Oracle then varies the OA page by the diffferent functions?

though i got SFSY structure during run time of smartform , even that was not useful.

for that Page &SFSY-PAGE& of &SFSY-FORMPAGES&
during debug of smart form i don't understand how it is calculating no of pages ,as i kept break point before printing page no in smart form.
please check my two screen shots, sfsy-formpage still contains current page no only but not total no of pages.

You will not get these values during debugging.. Let the program execute completely, you will get the right values.
As Manish said, the value for &SFSY-FORMPAGES& will be known only after all the pages are processed, though it is not necessary that you use them in the final window only. It can be a text node in a window of any type.
You will get the desired output, just cant see them during debugging within the program. At the time of printing or in the print review, output would be as expected.
Also, FYI, it would be better to give total pages as &SFSY-FORMPAGES(3ZC)& as there can be error if the total number of pages exceeds 9, due to lack of sufficient space to print more digits

So we have this site which has not been cleaned up for a while resulting in the creation of many lists many of which are not being used as well. I want to know that where all a particular list is being used i.e on which all pages so that if the list is not
being used, I could delete it. Is there any simple way to do it.

OOTB I think you can use SharePoint designer, but I would suggest custom code to iterate to all pages, and get the lists that are associated with these pages.

another one would be if those lists were never used and you can check for list with empty data.

How does j_security_check know which page to redirect to?

I have implemented j_security_check in our weblogic web app successfully.
What I would like to know is following the authentication and authorization via the container, how does it know to redirect the user to index.jsp?
For example, we have login.jsp which contains the j_username and j_password fields, and the action is j_security_check. After the user hits submit and the container authenticates them, how does it know to then direct them to index.jsp? Is it because the welcome tag in web.xml is set up to direct them to index.jsp?

That's correct.
You are specifying a login page, which will ONLY be accessed when the user attempts to view a secured resource.
After logging in, they will see the page they were originally trying to get to.
They will only be forced to go to the login page if you secure the page they are trying to get to:
