hello
i have a macbook pro for 2 years now and i dont own ipad nor iphone. i have never turned on the icloud but i think that it might be working. how do i know for sure? i dont want to have icloud! i wanna cancel it!
plus, there is a guest user option when i turn the macbook on. how do i cancel it?

You don't have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch so nothing has been backed up to iCloud.

You can't instal iCloud, it is part of the operating system (OSX 10.7.2 and above) if you have iCloud, you'll find it in system preferences.

If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

it shows me h********@hotmail.com i tried to logged in with my account that belong to h********@hotmail.com and it says inocrrect password or email i tried to reset my id but no reset mail was sent to my email ..
so i tried to creat a new with the existing email addreess and it works and verified and finally i tried to activate it with h********@hotmail.com with the new passs and it says account cannot be activate with h********@hotmail.com it is linked to another account ..

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

When you delete the account from your device, you will be given the opportunity to save Safari data, reminders, calendars and contacts to your device, which you can later merge with the other account once you login.
You won't be able to save your photo stream photos in the same way, so if you have any photo stream photos that are not already in your camera roll, you should move them there before you delete your account.
Your iWork documents can be saved to iTunes on your device, but if you have them on a Mac they would be much easier to save to your desktop there. You can move them back after you switch.
Notes can be shared to messages or mail and copy and pasted back after the switch. Although if you have a Mac, you may find it easier to do there. You could also use a temporary secondary account (see last item) to log into both accounts and copy and paste directly into your other account.
You can set up Mail forwarding at iCloud.com mail preferences (little gear icon-bottom left) to receive mail from your old address to your new one.
As an alternative to just switching, you might consider switching and adding your previous account back as a secondary account at settings > mail, contacts, calendars. You would still need to move your photos and iWork documents and save your safari data, but you'd have access to your old mail, contacts, calendars, reminders and notes.

The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

That is only present if you have already updated to iOS 5 or later. If you're on iOS 4 you can only update while connected to your computer's iTunes.

You can't access iCloud from your iPhone unless you're on iOS 5 or later. Otherwise, refer to this article:

Settings app > iCloud > Storage and Backup > <device>.
From there you can choose what to back up (apps' data) and see how much each backed up app is using (or would use if you turned it on).
For an average device, 1.9 GB sounds pretty reasonable.

If you enabled iCloud backup on your phone in Settings>iCloud, you phone would back up to iCloud every day as long as it's connected to wifi and your charger and the screen is locked. If you aren't backing up to iCloud, your phone would be backed up to your computer every time you synced it with iTunes. You can check by opening itunes on your computer and going to Preferences>Devices and checking on the Backups list.
You would have to be signed into your iCloud account on your computer to check if your phone was backed up to iCloud. Does anyone know how to set alerts in the iCloud calendar on Microsoft Outlook 2010 for a PC? Outlook gives me a warning message and does not allow me to save alerts for calendar events created in iCloud calendar. It will allow me to save events in the non-iCloud calendars.

I just tested it and i had the reminder on my ihpone in outlook and also as i had the calendar open in safari it popped up on there too ( I wasn't aware it did that)
