How do i know trial or license version ?

hi,
How do i know data services' version ?
is trial or license ?
thanks,

Hi,
When you launch Data Services and enable info logging, you should be able to see the version that you are using. The type of license e.g. beta etc. is usually also visible in the log as well. If you can let us know the LCDS version, we can provide specific advice.

How do I know if my Labview version is Professional or Full development?

    Hello tst,
you're right, I didn't change the path setting. I just put all my "user.lib"-functions in a directory outside LV's directory.
So the links break when I move vi to new/different locations. But
otherwise most of the time I have a vi open which is holding the
correct links to those functions. Or first I open a "ProjectMain.vi"
before I open  a vi  programmed by one of my students. So I
always have the correct links in memory. And when I have a program
finished I save it as development-library (including all needed subVis
from my "private" user.lib) or as executable, depending on
    purpose/computer hardware.
But main advantage still is to have just one path when doing backups...
    Best regards,

  • How do I know what the current version of fcpx w/o going to app store?

How do I know what the current version of fcpx without going to the app store? I'm hoping this is obvious and easy but I can't see it yet.

Thanks Neil, and thanks for figuring out that I wanted the general answer, not just the version right now.
But here's the question I should have asked: How do I know when there is a new version of FCPX so I can update right away? Was there an email or alert I missed, or do I just keep checking ?

  • How do you know what Mac Mini version you are getting?

I heard that as of September 2005, Apple had completly updated there Mac Mini's.. I heard that they put in a 64mb 9200 Graphic Card, and all had Bluetooth and Airport.. But, how would I know that what I am getting is the updated version? Compusa's Mac Mini has the July 2005 config posted, but no September updated specs..
Thanks! If I can get this issue resolved, I might be picking up the September 05 Mac Mini. I'm new, so I hope I posted this on the right place!

Will it be just luck if I pick up the updated version
or does the box state the actual spec's in the
    store?
If not, then this really will get madd. I was
thinking about switching over to Mac from WXP but if
they can't market/organize there specs better then
Apple won't get my XP to Mac switch. Plain and simple.
All you can do is assume that the specification Apple quote for the mini, and that is printed on the box, is the specification of the system you are buying. If it turns out to be uprated, you are fortunate, but otherwise it'll be exactly what you paid for.
Clearly, if Apple were ONLY selling uprated models, the specification they quote would be changed to reflect that fact.
The decision to purchase a system should be based on whether the model available meets your needs. As to Apple not being able to organize their specifications better, you might consider the possibility that the reason they don't quote better specifications for minis being sold is because not all minis being sold meet those improved specifications.

  • How do I know if a FCP version is Educational?

I am trying to buy an older version of FCP 4, but want to make sure that I am getting the full retail version that I can use to upgrade in the future. I have found a seller, who says she has an unopened copy, but she doesn't see anywhere that tells if the version is 'Educational/Academic' or 'Not for Resale'. How would I know if it is an educational version Retail version without opening the box? Would it be printed on the box if it's educational/academic?

    Thanks!
I am planning on buying the upgrade to FCS3 to make it work on the Intel. It's not an ebay sale. It's Craigslist and she says that the software was donated to her Non-Profit video production school. So, I figure it might be worth a shot for $50. If it's sealed in the box, what can go wrong? (Famous last words).

  • How do i know what OS X version i have and if i need to upgrade

Hello everyone, how do I know if I need to upgrade to mountaint lion or leapord? I currently have mac os x 10.6.8.

You don't need to upgrade if Mac OS X 10.6.8 is adequate for what you're using the computer for. If you'd like to, open the Mac App Store and try purchasing Mountain Lion 10.8. If you get told it's incompatible, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) or better CPU with at least 2GB of RAM, and if it does, phone the online Apple Store and order a download code for Lion 10.7.

  • How to identify the Photoshop Trial or Licensed version installed, only through files/registry ?

    Hi,
    Please help me out here.
I need to identify the Adobe Photoshop CS4 Trial installation to that of fully purchased/licensed installation,
    only using files/registry entries.
    Thanks in Advance.

To back up what Mylenium said you can take the trial download and insert your s/n of the purchased copy and it will be  a fully licenced copy.
If you had a trial and let it expire you should uninstall it.  I am just guessing, but if you see it in your program list and open it should be obvious if trial or not.  Uninstalled trials can cause Bridge to have error "need to activate from parent program".

  • How do I upgrade trial to full version

Hi - I downloaded the LiveCycle Designer trial and now have ordered the full version  How do I enter my new serial number?  If I have to uninstall the trial, how do I make sure to take all the files out properly so I can install the full version?

They never answered.  When I got my license key, I clicked the new download link they
sent me, without first uninstalling the old version, and I chose the default option, which
was something like "fix current installation" and it worked!  Didn't even ask me for my
    license key.

Please advise how i upgrade from my current trial version of Connect 9 to the full version with elearning features.
I see that the public pricing is without the elearning features, so for me this is no good as i need to host courses. The email address of [email protected] is invalid and bounces back and the phone line helpers are unable to provide information to help.
I cannot find costings or online download options anywhere
Please help as a matter of urgency

Not sure why the adobe email bounces, but they probably can't get you anything more than a contact for a reseller anyhow.

  • HT4623 how do I know what the latest version of ios is?  The people at the apple store told me it was not up to date, but my computer is telling me it is?

I'm having trouble opening one app (facebook).  Everything else is fine.  I've deleted it, reinstalled it, shut down, made sure everything is up to date.  Took the ipad to the apple store and was told the software was not up to date.  Came home, plugged it in to the computer, and it tells me everything is up to date?  Help!

A word of caution:  What may not be up to date is the version of iTunes you are running on your computer.
Make sure you're running the latest.  Get it at http://www.apple.com/itunes
The current version is iTunes 11.0.1.

  • N97 - How do I know what Maps I have installed - a...

    As above!
I recently went to Thailand, and thought I had downloaded the map for Thailand before I went. But when I got there and started up MAPS it started to DOWNLOAD via packetdata (no thanks it would cost 10 Euro/Mb). Apparently the Thai map was not installed, and there were no way of telling (as far as I can see).
Also, How do I know when a new version of a particular map is out?
In my Car System they update 4 times a year and I know when. But Nokia leaves me in the Dark.

The only way to check if the map is correctly installed (other than  believing what Map Loader tells you) is to zoom in over the country concerned and check for the detail being present. Even though I've never had a problem, I always check this way after downloading just for the sake of paranoia.
Nokia Maps are typically updated four times a year, but you won't get a notification - any time you conenct to Map Loader it checks your existing data, and if new stuff is abailable it deletes the old before you get chance to object and you then download the new maps.

  • Lightroom: upgrade from trial to full version, how to enter license key?

I installed Lightroom from Creative Cloud (CC) trial on Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit. The version is LR 5.6. I do not want CC, so I purchased the full version of LR on DVD. I was going to reinstall LR from the DVD, but see that it is only version 5.2. I have already done a fair amount of work with the trial LR 5.6 and am worried about losing the catalog that I have created.
So I thought I could apply the full version license key to the trial install, but there is no place to do that within LR. When I bring up the CC master application it shows that I have 5 days left with LR, but still has no way to apply a license key.
I had a very long and frustrating chat session with tech support. In the end I was advised to uninstall the trial, then install the full version. I might be able to download LR 5.6 full and simply install that.
So let me summarize my questions:
Is there any way to apply the license key for standalone full version of LR to the trial version that was installed using CC?
If I uninstall trial version, will I be able to install LR 5.6 download and apply license key?
If I cannot install from download and instead have to install from purchased DVD, will version 5.2 be able to import the existing catalog? Will subsequent upgrade(s) to 5.6 go smoothly?
What about the catalog? Will the existing catalog simply be found during a new installation? Or do I have to manually import?
I've found the community help in the LR forum to be very good - and that is why I am abandoning ACDSee after many years Thank you all for your help.

You should just uninstall what you have installed for LR 5.x, now, then download and install the LR 5.6 update from the Adobe Updates page, and enter your standalone serial number, and things should pick up where you left off.
You might want to go into LR’s preferences (if LR is still opening for you) and see where the catalog (.lrcat) file actually resides on your computer in case you have a problem and have to double-click on that .lrcat file to open your catalog, but my experience is that nothing will seem different after you’ve installed the new version other than the version number will be newer.  The preferences, catalog, and pictures are somewhere different than where the program is installed so uninstalling and reinstalling shouldn’t affect any of it.
LR 5.6 update is here:  http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
FYI, the CC-LR is licensed by logging into CC, the standalone version is licensed by entering a serial number.  That is why you have to uninstall the CC_licensed version and install the non-CC-licensed version.
It also probably wouldn’t mess anything up to install LR 5.2 from the DVD, but then you’d have to turn around and immediately download the LR 5.6 update, anyway, and it would waste time, so why not start with the latest update.  The update is a fully function program, not a patch to an existing program.  It’ll either find your existing licensing information if you’ve already entered the serial number or ask for a serial number if it doesn’t find anything—which sounds like your situation.
