I can not access Itunes because it says that i need the latest version of a software. So i got the OSX update 10.8 and it says this This package type requires Mac OS X 10.5.. I dont get it.. I am new to apple products. I dont understand what i need to do to update my software and be able to access ITUNES. Please help. i also have no idea what operating system i have all it says is Mac OS X

Was it the 10.5 version of Itunes you downloaded?
If you're in 10.8.x, under the Apple icon at top left, choose Sofware update, does that show a later iTunes & such?

HT2404 How do I know which software to update?

I have had my mac book 2 and a half years, I don't think I have updated the software on it since I have had it.
I don't think my software is now totally compatable with safari, and I am having dificulties with corrupt cookies and logging onto certain websites.
I am really rubbish with all this and have to keep reseting my safari to remedy this

Also I think doing each update one at a time, reduces the chance of the system tripping up over its shoelaces.
With your Safari problems, from the menubar Safari choose Reset Safari and also Empty Cache.

Mozilla's newsletter has just prompted me to check my Firefox plugins. It found five that were up-to-date, all of which I recognise - sort of. I was surprised though that it found another 10 which it said were "unknown" and prompted me to "research". Some of these were pretty blue-chip, like McAfee SecurityCenter, and Google Update - some don't mean much to me. Four are "Real"Something.
I guess I should get rid of those I don't need. My problem is - how do I know what I need? If I disable RealJukeBox, am I likely to find that something I use suddenly stops working? Clicking "Research" may tell me how to remove a plugin, but does not seem to tell me what it does and what uses it. (I think BBC iPlayer uses RealPlayer, so I probably should not remove that.)

So I am new to Muse, and my Adobe Cloud has 2 different programs from Muse... how do I know which one is the newer better version?
One Must program (Muse CC 2014.2) has a black background when working on it... it looks like other Adobe programs such as Photoshop.
The other one is light color (Muse CC) very similar to the black color Muse on functions.....
One of the difference I notice is that the light color Muse has a few widgets in the library, while the black background Muse seems to have an empty library
So... why are there 2 different Muse programs in my Adobe Cloud?

The latest version of Muse is 2014.2, so you need to uninstall another version of Muse manually.

On a late 2008 MBP, you want an SSD that can handle Sata 1/2/3 so it can be used in this machine, and can be migrated all the way to a 2012 SATA machine. Machines later than 2012 primarily use PCIe flash and are not considered user-replacable.
I have used a Samsung 840 Pro 256GB in a 2008 MBP. You can look at Crucial, OWC, Intel, Samsung brands.

You need to pass some data on the querystring to the page you are linking to.

When contacts have a number in common, how do I know which is calling?

Many of my contacts work, or live at the same place, as other contacts. How do I know which one is calling? My iPhone 4S (iOS 6.1) caller ID will display "John Smith and 4 others". I thought, if I put a contact called "Smith Residence", it would display that instead of John Smith and 4 others. That didn't work.
Then I tried linking the contacts to the "Smith Residence" listing, but that didn't work.
Then I thought I'll delete the people and reenter them, leaving only "Smith Residence" . That didn't work.
It doesn't seem to be the order that the contacts were entered, which decides the contact to display. It doesn't seem to be the one that others are linked to that displays. So, what is it that decides which contact displays when I get a call from a particular phone number, if that # is common to many contacts?

OK I think I get it. My contacts are sorted by first name and because (alphabetically) "John Smith" is before "Smith Residence", it will always show "John Smith". Now I have something to work with; I just need to know what alpha rules iOS uses. Anyone???

I have master detail blocks. How do I know which block has been changed?
I used :SYSTEM.FORM_STATUS. It only gave me "Changed" or "Query". but didn't tell me which block has been changed in MASTER or DETAIL.

I believe if :system.form_status != 'QUERY' you'll need to loop through through the blocks checking :system.block_status to see who changed. Of course you'd have to go_block() before checking the status.

Disable all addons by going to Tools -> Addons and clicking the disable button in every entry under Extensions or Plugins panels.
Restart Firefox.
Confirm the problem isnt there.
Enable each addon one by one by going to Tools -> Addons and clicking the enable button in every entry under Extensions or Plugins panels, in such a way that each time you enable ONE addon, you RESTART the browser and see if the problem STILL happens.
AS SOON AS the problem happens, disable the last addon you enabled. That one is the culprit. You can now enable all the others, if needed.

From this we can come to the conclusion that, whether to use one index or not by oracle
would also depend on the data which is present in the table. This has to be this way as
we see in the bind peeking, if oracle sticks to only one plan, say only use the full table
scan, it would be a performance hit when it searches for the second query ie where object_name
='emp';

Evenif we have the index on ename column, oracle wouldn't be able to use the index, as there is a function in the predicate column. If you need oracle to use the index, we need to create a function based index as below.
