I have a Prosite that I pay monthly for. I recently became a member of the Creative Cloud supscription as well. Can anyone tell me how I can eliminate my Prosite payment and link it up with my CC account since it is now included?

Yes it will work. I've done it for a few users in my small office. As with anything, there are quirks that you may or may not experience. Most quirks are app-related, due to app developers hard-coding absolute paths into their apps for things like temp files (Photoshop). Strategies for resolving these sorts of quirks can be found via google. You would probably have seen these quirks already when using server-based home folders for your kids. If you haven't noticed them, then you're probably fine.
The tech note you cited should be fine. It doesn't explicitly say so, but you'll need to enable ssh on your server, at least temporarily, so you can upload your home folder to the server using scp, rsync, etc. Don't try to copy the files up to the server via Finder.
Once all your files are transferred to the server and in the right place, make sure to chown them on the server, so they are owned by the userID you created for yourself on the server.
As with anything this involved, make a good backup of your laptop first.
Note I have one user that isn't too happy with the responsiveness of the periodic mobile home syncing. She has about a decade of e-mail in her home folder, probably 50 to 100 emails per day, many with attachments. Mobile home syncing takes a long time to check and sync this huge tree of itty-bitty files, eevn with server-side file tracking turned on. The other users are happy.
The nice thing about mobile home syncing is that when a user "graduates" to an age where they've earned their own laptop, you can change them from a server home user to a mobile home user, with a minimum of fuss. Also, if you lose or break a laptop, you can add a new replacement laptop to your network, and pull-down a replica of the home folder from the server, with almost no downtime.

I am unable to join my existing wireless network with new AirPort Express

I am unable to join my existing wireless network with new AirPort Express.
I am using a DLink DI-524 Router, Windows 7 (64), and the AirPort Express.
AirPort Utility will not recognize the AEX wirelessly, it will only recognize it when it is connected by Ethernet. I can then configure the AEX and verify that the settings stick once disconnected and then reconnected. However, even after that, it will not recognize the AEX once disconnected from the Ethernet cable.
I followed the suggestions of several other threads on these forums. But I am unable to get the AEX to work.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It's almost always a security setting that causes problems when the Airport Express (AX) tries to join a third party wireless network. The AX usually does not "join" correctly and that's why you can't see it on your wireless network using AirPort Utility.
Using an ethernet cable is still the more reliable way to configure and adjust the AX, but if you are want to try to configure it using wireless, you must return the AX back to factory defaults as follows:
Power down the AX
Hold in the reset button +and keep holding it in+ as you plug the AX back in to power
Release the reset button after 10 seconds
When it is set to factory defaults, the AX broadcasts a wireless signal with a network name like "apple network xxxxxx" where the "x's" are either letters or numbers. You must look for this network by clicking on the fan shaped Airport icon at the top of the screen. If you don't see this network, then click Join Other Network to search that way. Unless you connect to this network, you will not be able to configure the AX using wireless.
Do you know the exact security type that your D-Link router is using? That is the key element in the process.
Open AirPort utility, click Manual Setup
Click the Base Station tab to establish a name for the AX, device password and adjust time zone settings
Click the Wireless tab
Wireless Mode....Join a wireless network
Wireless Network Name...must exactly match your D-Link wireless network name
Enable ethernet clients if you want the port to be active (your D-Link must be compatible with ProxySTA for this to work)
Wireless Security...exact setting of the D-Link network. WEP security causes a lot of issues. Try to use WPA/WPA2 Personal, which is far more secure.
Wireless Password...must match the D-Link network
Click the Music icon to enable AirTunes
Click Update to save settings

Afterwards, you'll have the option to sync either the entire music library (for your first iPod), or "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" (for the secondary device). Upon selecting this option, four larger option boxes will appear allowing you to pick and choose what content will be synced. For audiobooks, you may need to do the above in the "Books" section. If you're moving from PC to PC then perhaps Windows Easy Transfer is the tool for you, although I'd still recommend you look at method 1 from my earlier link. If you don't have a backup strategy now then it is time you got one. Hard drives can and do fail without warning. All your personal data should be on at least two if not three separate disks to avoid disappointment.

I currently have a Behance ProSite that I pay for separately each month. I am thinking of purchasing a full membership to Creative Cloud and see that a ProSite is included in the membership.
Can I use my existing ProSite with my new CC account?
If so, what happens to my current monthly payments that I'm making to Behance?
Would like to have this question resolved before I buy my CC membership as my ProSite is my company's main website, so I can't lose it or have it effected in anyway by signing up to CC.

Hi DavK. Unfortunately there can be a lot of 'well, that depends' in how you go about moving an application
to a new FieldPoint controller. The following is based on the assumption that you do not have the development
environment available; if you do, it is probably easier to just recompile targeting the new controller.
The exe is fairly easy:
1) ftp into the controller
2) cd to ni-rt\startup
3) rename startup.exe or startup.rtexe to 'something else'
4) delete 'something else'
5) ftp in the new startup.exe or startup.rtexe
6) ftp in any supporting files (i.e. for external calls)
7) in c:\ni-rt.ini set RTTarget.ApplicationPath=c:\ni-rt\startup\startup.exe (or .rtexe)
8) in c:\ni-rt.ini set RTTarget.LaunchAppAtBoot=True
The .iak setting is probably easiest to re-create with MAX, rather than copy in.
The depends part comes in with how the I/O channels were named or referenced in the .exe. As long
as everything was done in a generic (consistent between controllers) way you could be ok.
My guess is that if you have trouble it will be here.

HELP- new laptop- how do i transfer my existing tunes onto my new laptop?

I have 800 tunes saved in the Library on my old laptop and have brought a new laptop. I want to transfer my existing tracks onto the new computer. Could someone explain how to do this or point me in the right direction.

It's easy.
I'm assuming you know how to get your two notebooks onto the network, and make them accessible to each other by sharing folders.
Goto old notebook itunes, goto your iTunes settings and check to see where iTunes keeps your music. It could be in your 'My Music'. This is also where iTunes keeps the Library database. Regardless, confirm the location because you will need to SHARE this folder on your network.
Goto NEW notebook itunes. 2 things need to happen here.
(1) In your iTunes settings, make sure you tell itunes to manage your music (which means it will copy any songs you add to the library to a local central location on your NEW notebook).
(2) Import your ITUNES Library from OLD notebook. The import command is found in the FILE menu. Remember - you will need to browse over the network to your SHARED Folder sitting on the OLD notebook. Once iTunes imports the library, it should also be copying all the songs over the network to your new notebook. I would highly recommend not doing this over a wireless network.
Simple.

Launch iTunes on the new laptop.
From the iTunes menu bar top of your screen click Store > Authorize This Computer
Conect the iPod.
Now from the menu bar again click File > Transfer Purchases From...
You may need a third party utility for any non iTunes purchases.
