You use to be able to - how do I do it now???

Your FAQ specifically says, at this moment: "You can upload photos and videos to Revel using these apps: {..} Lightroom"

I just purchased a year's subscription to Revel and spent a day moving over 500G of photos from Aperture to Lightroom for this feature. I want a refund immediately. What is even the point of having an unlimited photo and video service that let's you share your whole life if you are not allowed to bring your past with you? Dragging and dropping into a browser is not an option, neither is a manual workflow when I am paying Adobe for Creative Cloud and separately for Revel.

How to integrate with Lightroom?

I'm having some trouble trying to understand the proscribed alternative method for integrating Lightroom with Revel (which I subscribe to). After months and months of smooth operation, Lightroom is suddenly telling me my Revel plug-in is missing, but I'm directed to a page that says the plug-in doesn't exist anymore. From there I'm directed to a FAQ that shows a number of methods for importing photos, none of which involves Lightroom. I somehow manage to get signed up with Lightroom Mobile, which I don't want. There's a Revel program that knows what my Revel albums are via my account–this must be the new way to do things. But I'm still not sure how to mirror my albums in Lightroom, where I can edit and manage photos/albums. I'm finding this all very frustrating and have lost time trying to figure it out. Can you point me to the necessary resources? I'd like to understand how to do what I was able to do before, and how this way is an improvement. Thanks.

yes, there is no way to use the revel plugin from LR anymore.
i am also finding this very strange as both are adobe products & no integration anymore?
i use LR as a database for all my images
and was exporting to revel, only the ones that i need to share
this is very frustrating and unexpected from adobe
maybe they will come up with a new revel plugin
but no official word from adobe yet
i have been exploring various options for sharing like smugmug, flickr etc
but have more faith in adobe, as i have been a LR and photoshop user for many years
just started using revel on free trial account, certainly wont take their PRO service without the LR/REVEL integration
i also feel that revel has been around for couple+ of years
but they lack many basic features, compared to others like smugmug
i understand a new service/app takes time to develop, but by now, they should have nailed it
for eg: if i webshare an album with a friend, he can download the individual 50 pictures one by one
there is no option to download the entire album in one go, very frustrating and very basic feature
seems like this is a hobby project for adobe and they aint investing much into this service
though their annual subscription charges are at par with others like smugmug and probably more than some others
the revel forum is also not very active from adobe's side
they should realise that people like you & me, and many others explore first and then finalise a service for good and stick to it
what if i go towards smugmug and upload all, i wont be changing back to revel, as its a lot of hassel organizing and re-uploading again
if anyone listening/monitoring these threads on adobe forum

The Canon 5D Mk 111 was supported from LR 4.1, see the link below. Just update LR to the latest version. See link below

currently I'm Pro-User of Adobe Revel and I upload all photos with Adobe Lightroom 4 to my Revel account.
I googled a little bit around because I'm not able to upload videos via Lightroom and i found this link:

On this page it is said that Adobe will not continue plugin support for Lightroom and Revel.
Could somebody (or anybody - sorry for my english) tell me more about the future of Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Revel?!? Would be great and helpful....

As i understood, your requirement is to POST data from UI to backend.
The above code you given is not correct if you want to use model based implementation.
In UI5 you don't need to do an explicit Ajax call, for which we can use Models like OData, JSON etc.
For your JSON example, you can use like,

Hi there,
Here is a link that describes the various ways to download from Revel. If you are using a browser, sadly, you can only download one image at a a time. If you have a Mac, I would recommend installing the Revel Mac app from which you can download mutliple images at once. If you have a Windows 8.1 machine, you can download 100 at a time with the Revel Win8.1 app.

How do I get Lightroom to find photos on a USB Drive when the Drive letter changes?

THis is probably a simple question but I keep getting stuck. I ha
ve my catalog and some images on my laptop hard drive, but the majority are on
an external USB drive. Sometoimes the drive gets assigned
E:, F;, or G:, and when it cahnges, the catalog says the phots are missing. How do I get
Lightroom to find the photos again?

The quick fix is to click on the folder containing the missing files and choose "update Folder Location" then find the folder on the USB drive. The longer term and fix you should apply is to set Windows to always give the USB the same drive letter. You can do this through the XP Disk Management application in Computer Management (Control Panel applet). The following screenshot is for XP, but Vista and Win 7 will something similar which can be accessed via Administrative Tools (see second screenshot).
