I would like to embed these links in a 100+ page document in order to flip back and forth throughout it for quick reference.

Go step by step and test.
1. Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
    Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
    Restart the computer.
    Start up in Safe Mode.

2. Empty Caches
    Safari > Preference > Advanced
    Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
    Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
    Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
3. Deselect Proxies if selected.
    System Preference > Network > Advanced > Proxies Tab
    Under "Select Protocol", uncheck any box if selected.
    Click "OK" then "Apply”.

thats tough man, yeah exchanging it is the best option. But why do people always leave a message saying" i'll probably just by an ipod" and it's usually followed by, "even though i don't like apple or ipod" . I mean fine, if u feel like giving up on the zen micro thats fine, i personally don't care if you're going to buy an ipod. for god sakes ipod isn't even the next alternati've mp3 players, theres plenty. Are u just trying to get the creative people saying "oh man we lost another one to ipod" cuz i'm sure they don't lose sleep over u wanting to buy an ipod instead of a zen. *done ranting*

Why is my MBP Retina 15" continuously crashing and freezing within iPhoto as I flip through my photo albums ? This has occured all day now, with about 12 reboots and the problem presists. Problem started while sharing photos with facebook and now occurs while fipping through all photo albums. Have had additional problems with continuose freezing up and locking up in many other native and non-native applications, freezing all the time. This reminds me of window based systems !

Disconnect all peripherals from your computer. Repair permissions and restart your computer. If this works, one of your peripherals is the culprit. Otherwise, you should post in the iPhoto forum area in case your issue is software related rather than the Macbook Pro.

Links to other webpages open as a totally black page, if I click "open link in IE" then it opens as the new web page

I have used firefox for years....no problem. Suddenly when I click on a link in a website to go to another area or site...the link opens as a totally black page and at the bottom states "done". If I Right click on the link and open in IE then it will open the new link to the corresponding website....it is frustrating! Any suggestions??

Changing the paper each page is printed on, printing PDFs

I use ABCpdf to create a PDF in C#. PDF letters are then appended to this, with 0 to many PDF brochures appended after each letter. What I need to do is print the letter out on letter head and the brochures out to blank paper (Assuming the letter head is in tray 1 and blank paper in tray 2).

Page 5 Brochure1
So above, I need to print in that order (so each customer gets the correct number of brochures per letter), but with the two letters going to letter head and 3 brochures printed to blank paper. For the above, it could be possible to create two PDFs for each letter instead of one large one (but this would result in many prints jobs being sent for large jobs). Can anyone see a solution for this?

What would make it easier was if there was a function to enable the use the special field for {horizontal page number} on places other than only the virtual page.
Why is there not a function? There is one for pagenofm.
Or could someone share a way to use the special field for {horizontal page number} in formulas? Being able to capture the value in a global variable would be a great assistance, but it seems to be impossible.
If the source code for the function pagenofm was available we could see how they did it for the special field for {page n of m}.
I am using XI and have been unsuccessful in getting a global variable to accurately reflect the number of pages with a value for the {horizontal page number} included.

I went an unlocked the page and selected Bootcamp and hit restart. However, now when I restart, it puts into bootcamp. I nolonger can enter the MAC side.

Hello.I have a late 2008 model MacBook with snow leopard installed. I'd been having some trouble with it lately, so I went to disk utility and tried to 'repair disk'. It said there was a file system error and it could repair the disk. So I started up from the install disk and tried again...same thing. Now when I try to turn it on and power it up, it turns on, makes the chime sound and then gets stuck on the gray page with the apple. I have tried removing the battery, unplugging/replugging power, and 'safe start up mode'. It still won't go past the gray apple page. Please help!!! I'd greatly appreciate any advice or comments! Hello. I have a Windows 7 HP Mini Netbook 32-bit. I just installed Firefox version 6.0.2 (the most updated one). Under
Tools ---> Options ---> Tabs, "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" is checked. However, when I have multiple tabs open and I click on "X" (accidentally one time), it closed Firefox. No warning at all. I tested it again and again (checking the box, unchecking it, then checking it again), and it keeps closing all my tabs without warning.
FYI...I also have a work laptop (Windows XP) and for some reason the "Confirm close" shows up when I try to close multiple tabs.

TS4079 Siri is not working since 7.0 upgrade - if I turn Siri off it works with voice command. Microphone functions with other apps just fine. I have gone through the trouble shooting page and still nothing. I read others are having the same issue.

I have restarted the phone and reset it - Siri still not working. It does not pick up any voice - just lists some options.

I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue.

Bear with me, I've not done this before. I can't seem to reliably print an envelope when using Pages. I go to "file" click "print", click "ok", see the printer icon flash in the dock with a red "1" (indicating a printing job), but then the icon disappears and nothing gets printed. I checked the printers queue and there is nothing there. The funny thing is, after many times hitting "print", twice I've had envelopes printed. ??? What's the secret?

Have you tested it from other software, such as TextEdit to establish that it is in fact Pages that is the problem?
Step us through Print Setup... and what you select when you send it off to print.

You can load envelopes from the multi-purpose sheet feeder. Your appliaction software must be set up to print the envelope size you are using. This is usually done in the Page Setup or Document Setup mebnu of your software. Refer to your appliaction manual
It also mentions an issue with paper thickness.

My home page is set to google & is always open, after i open new tabs to other web pages & then go back to the original home page tab it is frozen or if not frozen you try to do a search & it displays nothing (blank page white background)

If the above problem occurs I can open a new home(ie google) in a new tab & it works every time.
When original home page isnt frozen & will let you do a google search but displays blank you cannot return to the original page (ie using back button or home button).
When the page is frozen you can do nothing with it.
