or box in my flash website?

The iPad doesn't support been mounted as a drive - it will only show in Finder if you have photos on it that were taken with it, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites.
You can copy content to/from your iPad's apps either via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc. - whatever the apps that you have on the iPad support. The iPad doesn't have a file system like a 'normal' computer, everything has to be stored with an app.

Perhaps you have made one column extra wide and the window isn't currently showing the Name column. Try resizing columns, turning off those that you don't need, or scrolling sideways.

Not sure I understand the question but it could be because you meant to say "can't" somewhere in the sentence. anyway, just guessing here:
Try going to:
File >> Watch folders
Now you can Add new folders here that you see them in Windows. The word ADD is a button to browse for the folders and hopefully this will solve the problem you are having.

My family all have apple products, but cant figure out how to share one account as a family, share applications, and the rest, but have differant users. Is there an actual way to do this?

You can edit the information on your Apple account in a number of places (they all link together)

On iTunes - Choose Store > 'View Account' from the Menu Bar.
On an iOS Device - Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Tap on the 'Apple ID' > Tap 'View Apple ID'

If you've clicked the 'send reset info' link as described in step 5 on that page and you haven't received the email (how long ago was it and you've checked the spam folder as well as the inbox ?) then you could try clicking it again. If that doesn't arrive within the next couple of hours or so either then you could try contacting iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then try Apple ID Account Security

Extras notes --- iPod works fine in iTunes, but doesn't show up in Windows

Gotta wierd situation.
My iPod works fine in iTunes.
I have had 'Enable for Disk Use' enabled for a long time. However, my iPod doesn't show up under My Computer on WinXP.
I'd like to add some new Notes and remove some old ones, but you have to do that thru Windows, not thru iTunes.
Any ideas how to fix this problem?

i noticed one thing. the iPod is formated as FAT32, but i have my HD in NTFS. could this be related?
no, that one's normal. we need to leave her as FAT32. see:
iPod no longer plays music after formatting or partitioning the hard disk
hmmmmm. it's like the "enable disk use" setting is just refusing to stick for you.
but maybe we've got a window of oppportunity while it's doing that initial sync. the rules seem to be different for you then.
maybe try switching enable disk use off. then eject her, and plug her back in again (while you've got itunes already running).
the second she shows up in the itunes sourcelist, try diving into the preferences tab, and re-enabling disk use.
(i checked, and it's possible for me to do this with attractive beast ... hoping here that doing the "enable disk use" under these circumstances might get it to stick for you.)

Run App Engine through command line but have it show up in Process Monitor

We are trying to run Application Engine through command line and have it show up in the Process Monitor.
We have successfully ran the Application Engine through command line. We also can successfully run the Application Engine through PIA.
Only when you run the AppEng through PIA it goes through the Process Scheduler and shows up in the Process Monitor.
We would like to be able to do this through command line as well. Has anyone done this before?

I'm not sure if it is (easily) doable.
=> Fire a process through the front end appl is nothing but insert few rows in process scheduler tables settings (PSPRCSRQST, PSPRCSQUE), then the process scheduler is taking information from there every x seconds and eventually run the command (on the process scheduler server) keeping an eye on the process result in the tables to post the result.
=> Fire psae through command line (or pssqr) bypass the process scheduler, you can run it from any client... so even without any clue about Process Scheduler server or even without Process Scheduler at all (cf. the very first AE running during an installation is VERSION without anything else than the client).
So finally, your AE program has no clue where it should run outside the client you are fired the command from (i.e. on the batch server as it is running when you are fired the same AE through the front end application), nothing more about the process scheduler configuration file, and where the output files should be posted.
Maybe not by running the AE from the command line, but by simulating the actions as it would be from the front end application, for instance by inserting in the tables whatever you want to run... but it sounds odd. Probably some developer might have done this before... but this should be reconsidered by Peopletools version/patch level (or through CI ?)

I mapped drive B: to a network share but it does not show up in Windows explorer. I can go to the drive by typing b:\ but is not visible in explorer. But if I login as local admin it shows up in windows explorer. Any suggestions?

Disconnect the mapped drive and map it again.
Ensure the user is using an administrator account; or change another user account to have a try.
Create a shortcut for a share folder and see if it will disappear.
In addition, it would be helpful for future troubleshooting if you could help to collect the following information:
Which method did you use to map drive?
Was there any error message in the Event log? If so, please provide the detailed information.

I don't like when I scroll over a link on a webpage and the hyperlink shows up on the bottom right in white box... it is extremely annoying. I want to know how to turn it off if possible, otherwise I'm going to have to use another browser. Thank you.

I don't recall this feature on any other version of firefox. For some reason, I can't stop focusing on the fact that every time I scroll over something on a webpage, an annoying white box pops up in the corner of the website displaying the hyperlink, or showing the fact that the link or whatever is loading... it's unnecessary and to me it appears as clutter, especially when I'm browsing a website that has a colored backdrop because then the annoying box pops out even more. I want to turn it off somehow or get rid of firefox.

Linked text to webpage, but webpage shows error

Hi In DW CS4.
I have a link on text on a webpage. The link when clicked, goes to a bad error link page, although, that page successfully works when you visit/navigate through that companies website. It just doesn't work through mine.
Could this be something on my end or theirs?
I double-checked the .html file & links in DW & they seem to be correct and or match up.

There is voice-removal software, but don't expect too much of it. With most music, it's not possible to remove the voice completely. Voicelevels will only be lower.

Nancy O, since you were kind enough to respond I thought that I would ask you for more help. I took your suggestion and also went to the Adobe DW help / preview pages section this is what I found:
Note: Content linked with a site root-relative path does not appear when you preview documents in a local browser unless you specify a testing server, or select the Preview Using Temporary File option in Edit > Preferences > Preview In Browser. This is because browsers don’t recognize site roots—servers do.

Since this website does not have a domain name (yet); is it possible that I may have to relink all as Document-Relative? and if so is there a faster way than manually switching one by one ( it's over 270 links) Thank you again for your help.

How to have multiple movies show in same window on same web page

Hi folks,
Here's what I mean: I have a web page with several pix on left side, and an embedded QT player window on the right. I want my users to click on one of the pix, and the associated quicktime movie shows up in the player window and starts playing (see player code below--pretty standard).
So far, the only way I can think of to do this is to have multiple identical pages, the only difference being each one of them has a different movie in the "embed source" tag (so when you click on one of the pics it takes you to the new page, but to the user it will appear as if it's the same page).
But for ease of modifying this page in the future (which I'll be doing a lot), I'm looking for a more elegant solution. Anyone know of a way to do this, using scripting or...??

This is beyond anything I have ever tried. But I think I know what you have in mind, and you should be able to do it using JavaScript. I did it with still images on this page:

You would need to give the movie container a name so that you can access it from JavaScript, and you have the added problem of needing to control the QuickTime object from JavaScript. Have a look at the QuickTime JavaScript API; it might be helpful:

In spite of the code on that gallery page I linked above, I really don't speak JavaScript, and I barely understand how my own code works. But I think JavaScript will allow you to do what you want to do, and you can probably even write a custom controller for the movie right into your web page.
