How do I listen to streaming music on my iPad?

How do I listen to steaming music on my iPad? I'm trying to listen to a broadcast from WCPE.com in the MP3 format, it plays for awhile, then either pauses while it buffers or just plain quits! I tried TuneIn Radio and it constantly pauses to buffer.  I listen to the broadcast simultaneously on my Windows Laptop with no stopping and only an occasionally buffering!

How do I listen to my music on my iPad when I am not connected to wifi?

Describe more in detail what you mean.
Does the player start, look like the music is playing, but your hear nothing?
Does the player say it can't find any music?
Are you trying to use ear buds or the built-in speakers?
The fact that you say you can't play music when not connected to WiFi leads me to believe you have not really synced your iTunes library to your iPad but instead are playing your music from iCloud or from Home Sharing.

  • Why can I no longer stream music on my ipad/iphone?

I own an IPhone 4s with 16GB of storage capacity and a recently purchased IPad mini 2 with 32gb of storage capacity.  I am operating off of ITunes IOS 8.1.2 for my iPhone and 8.1.1 on my iPad,
As of last year I was able to import music into itunes, upload it to icloud, and then stream the song on the device without it physically (or at least permanently downloading to my phone).  It would work when I was connected to the internet via wi-fi or using the data plan I have with my family plan.  The first time I realized there was a problem was when I attempted to stream music after downloading IOS 8.0.  As I was having other issues with my phone at the time (it not installing the IOS correctly, not recognizing songs being uploaded to the cloud, text messages not being sent to other apple users, it was low on my bucket list.)  Eventually I did look into it and found that people often suggested that I ensure that I enable icloud on my phone, and in music settings I turn on 'Show all Music' and 'ITunes Match'.  All of these were already selected and I saw no other solutions presented.
This problem has now extended over to my IPad and even though both are connected to a data plan and they can connect other programs that require the internet when not connected via wi-fi the songs are greyed out on the phone and simply do not play on the iPad.  The symbol that allows me to download the music instead of stream it that shows up on the phone does not appear on my iPad which leaves me stuck with no way of listening to my music on my ipad if I am not connected via wi-fi.
Can someone please tell me if the streaming ability was changed to only work if the connection was through wi-fi and not through data usage?  If not and there is something I have overlooked/been unable to find within other threads can someone please specify what I can do to get it to play the music?

Thanks guys, and yes, seems really weird. I hadnt merged contacts with iCloud (which is appearing to be far more trouble than its worth!) and I couldn't edit, add or delete contacts from my ipad, but as soon as I switched on this option in iCloud, they magically reappeared. I then turned it off again from mergeing with iCloud, and, for now at least, the option to edit remains!
Honestly, it really shouldn't be this difficult!
    Thanks again.

You have to sync your music to your iPad, this can be done from a WiFi connection to your iCloud account for those purchased from the iTunes store.  Non-iTunes music has to be synced using iTunes Match, a fee is charged for that premium service.

  • Streaming music from my iPad to my iPod touch

Is there a way to stream music from my iPad to my iPod touch?  I have an iPod touch that I never use anymore since I got the iPad; so connecting the iPod to my stereo would be the best solution for me.

    1. My iPod Touch has only 8GB; my iPad has 64GB.
    2. I don't want to have to go to the "wired" iPod or iPad everytime I want to change songs; I want to stream to the iPod just like you can to a Windows PC, a Mac or an Apple TV, but using the smaller footprint iPod Touch that I already own.
    OK.
But it still doesn't do what you want.

  • How do I removed the downloaded music from my ipad in the Music app with effecting icloud music?

My music was taking up too much space so I joined itunes match, but the 6 gigs of my music is still on my ipad. How do I removed the downloaded music from my ipad in the Music app without affecting icloud music? I clicked to replace all music with icloud music. They both appear in Music and I don't see anywhere to remove all downloaded music. If I delete all music, I fear it will delete all music in iCloud. I assumed by joining iTunes Match that I would get the 6 gigs back for other items since my music should be on iCloud now. If that is not the case then I need to get my $ back for Match.

Removing music from an iOS device does not remove it from the cloud.
Go to Settings > General > Usage and tap Music (you may need to scroll down in the list). Swipe across "all music" and tap DELETE.

  • How do I play my iTunes music on my iPad using WiFi and iTunes match (my music is stored in the cloud).

How do i play my iTunes music on my iPad using WiFi and iTunes match? I don't want to download my music to my iPad.

But that's what I don't want to do. I think I must have misunderstood what was possible with iTunes Match and the cloud. I had thought I would be able to play my music directly from the cloud using WiFi. I didn't think I would have to download it from the cloud to play it on my iPad. I store it in the cloud because I don't have enough storage space on my iPad -- I can't download all my music because I run out of storage space. If iTunes Match doesn't allow you to play the music FROM THE CLOUD, but instead only allows you to DOWNLOAD IT FROM THE CLOUD TO YOUR IPAD TO PLAY, then it's not serving the purpose I thought it would. What's the point of storing it in the cloud if you have to download it to play it?
The only way I could imagine it working for me is if it possible to only download particular albums or songs. Or does your whole library have to be downloaded?

  • How do i delete all the music off my iPad mini?

how do i delete all the music off my iPad mini?

    Hello Tami,
Thank you for the question.  You can remove all the music stored on your iPad mini from the Usage section in Settings:
    View usage on iOS
Tap Settings > General > Usage to view the amount of space each app and its content takes on your device.
Tap an app for more detailed information about its usage.
Depending on the app, you may also be able to delete some of the app's content, or delete the app and its content.
After you have tapped on Music in the Usage section, swipe from right to left over “All Music” to get the option to tap Delete. This will remove all the music stored on your iPad mini.

  • How do i transfer my pictures/music from the ipad to my icloud account

How do I transfer my pictures/music from my Ipad to my Icloud account to free up some space?

iCloud isn't designed to free up space on your iPad.  It's designed to sync your data to other devices you have connected to your iCloud account, and to store your backups.  It will only store your pictures as part of your overall iPad backup, but they cannot then be accessed except by restoring the entire backup back to your iPad.  iCloud will only store your music if you subscribe to iTunes Match, which is separate from your iCloud account.
If you need to free up space on your iPad, you can import your photos to your computer and delete them off your iPad as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.  You can also remove some or all of your music by unchecking the songs you don't want on your iPad on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing.

  • How can I listen to the music/songs or watch the movies in my iTunes library if I've damaged/lost my iPod and use a system-reovered/new computer?

I accidentally dropped my iPod Classic 160 GB into the toilet
bowl of my home sometime ago, and unfortunately enough,
as misfortunes seldom come singly, I got a serious problem
with my computer ( an HP Desktop) and had to do the system
recovery which, as you know, removes everything in the system
drive. After having reinstalled iTunes, I thought I should be able
to listen to the music I kept in the Library of iTunes, but I don't
see any of my music/songs or movies there. Thus come my
    three questions below:
    1) How can I locate and enjoy the music or movies I saved in
the iTunes Library with a computer after its system recovery
    or even a new computer?
    2) Like the current situation I'm in, when my iPod is damaged
or lost, can I still enjoy the music or movies saved in the
iTunes Library from my computer ( meaning without an iPod)
if I have the iTunes application installed in it? How? Do I have
to sign in my account? Sign in with my e-mail address saved
in my account? Where can I find the sign-in webpage of iTunes?
(Please provide me with the related link of the webpage.)
    3) The above issue brings up another question, are the music/songs
and movies as well as other programs in the iTunes Library saved
in my computer or in Apple's server?
Please, with your kind patience, let me know as detailed as possible.
And also let me know what Apple's e-mail address I can use to ask
for support on such issues as described above? Although I always
prefer asking for support or help by e-mail, I would also appreciate
if you could let me know the phone number I can use to ask for
    such help.
    Best regards,
    Lawrence Wood

System Recovery generally assumes you have backed up your data somewhere first. If not, you're in trouble.
Depending on your region you can recover most of your previous iTunes purchases. Install iTunes. Use Store > Authorize This Computer... and Store > Sign In... then select iTunes Store in the left-hand column and click Purchased in the Quick Links section on the right. You should now be looking at a list of past purchases that you can download to your computer.
See also: HT2519 - Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Your purchase history is preserved on Apple's servers. Anything you ripped from CD or downloaded from elsewhere was stored on your computer and should have been backed up.
There is no live telephone support for iTunes issues. For problems with a particular purchase contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support. For general issues with usage this is the place to get help.

  • How can i stream music from itunes (ipad or MacBookPro) to Apple TV 2nd Gen?

How can i stream (not sync) music from itunes (ipad or mac) to an AppleTV 2nd gen?? thanks..

No, not directly.. but to get the movies onto your iPad you need to sync them on there from your computer running iTunes.. you can likewise sync those same movies from your computer running iTunes to the appleTV..
i create a playlist of all the videos on my iPad (mostly for kids movies they are interested in right now).. so to put those same movies on my appleTV i would just define the sync to appleTV to include that playlist..
