How do I locally delete a song that was uploaded to the cloud, without deleting the song from the cloud?

I have synced all my itunes libraries with iTunes_Match. Now, I have songs on my MacBook Air, that I would like to delete locally, but NOT delete from iTunes Match (that is, leave them in the Cloud),
How do I do this? Whenver I try to delete a tune, it asks me if I want to delete the selected song from my iTunes Library, If that means my local macBook Air library,then the answer is "Yes." It goes on to say that the song will also be deleted for any ipod, iPhone or iPad that synchronizes with my iTunes Library. That seems to change the definition of "iTunes Library," since, as I understand it, all of the devices, (IOS and OSX 10.7+) sync with the "iCloud library," not my local library.
Basically how do I delete locally, but not globally?

To delete a song locally is just how have already discovered you do it. Just be sure the option to delete the song from iCloud is not checked in the delete dialog. However, if you want that same music to be available to all your mobile devices you will have to enable iTunes Match on your devices. If you are still directly syncing your iDevices, and you delete songs from the library, those songs will no longer be available to directly sync. Make sense?

If you sync with the new computer it will erase the current content from the iphone and replace with the selected content of the new computer.
The pics that you have taken with the iphone should be imported regularly to your computer as you would with any digital camera. You can then organize them and sync them back to the iphone if you wish.
If you have had itunes perform a backup on the new computer, you should get the pics taken with the iphone back, but I would import them before trying anything.

If that is correct, you will need to update to at least 10.0.6 in order to use the Mac App Store and redownload your purchased apps.

Depends on the extent of the edits. You will need Acrobat in any case. If the edits or minor, you can use the text edit tool. For major edits, you need to request the original file be sent or see if you can Save As a DOC or related file type. PDFs are not really structured for editing and you are asking for a lot of grief if you want to do much. Exporting is the best way, or even better simply asking the author for the original (non-PDF type).

When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).

I have over 6k songs and now my ipod always goes back to #1 even though I may have been listening to # 321. How do I ever get to listen to all my songs. One area that this appears is on Facebook where it lists the number of Recognized Devices. There are six devices which include iPad and iPhone. These items are grayed and you are unable to change. Also on my iphone it lists the computer name. This name is different from name of my computer. It's what I signed in as when I installed the Mountain Lion upgrade. To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, and your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. How to quisce the config without deleting reports from reports tab.
first I quisced and retired and then try to create the sonfig with the same name" it showing that name already exists"
If I purged the config and created the config with the same name, its creating successfully but all the reports are deleting.
Out TP is firing on us, if we delete the reports in reports tab.
Please suggest with new idea.

Your question does not make much sense. iCloud syncs Safari's bookmarks between devices. If you delete a web site's bookmark from one device it will be removed from all other devices setup to sync to your iCloud account. If this is a bookmark to other websites you have an account with such as Amazon or other sites you are only removing the bookmark to that site, you would have to log into that website to remove thae account related to that site.

You are out of luck but a Date Recovery company may be able to help if the iPod does not have iOS 8.
If there is an iCloud backup you can restore from that.
