How Do I Locate An Action I Created In CS5?

Hello Folks,
How do I locate and action that I created in CS5, so I can load it into CS6?
I am running CS5 and 6 using Mac OSX Snow Leopard
I crearted two actions, but am now not sure where they reside, to load them into CS6
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Jim

Thanks for the helpful reply.
Yes, I do still have CS5 installed an intact. I have launched it and I can find my actions within the action pane, and run them on a loaded image.
When I click on either of my two actions, they attempt to run, without and image loaded and run with an image loaded. When I click on the fly out menu
to try and save either of them, "save action" is greyed out.
I've looked in every Adobe/Photoshop folder I can think of but can't seem to find either of them. I've also tried to use a spotlight search to locate them, but no luck.

    How do I locate the folders I created with my downloaded music?
    Thanks for any information,
    Dawn

    I have no problem pulling up a complete list of downloaded music.  My problem exists with past downloads I put into a "Folder" then copied that folder to a CD.  A bit frustrating.
    Thanks for your input,

  • How to use one Assign action to create multiple context variables

    Hello, everyone.
    I read some tips from Oracle documentation that said:
    Avoid creating many OSB context variables that are used just once within another XQuery
    Context variables created using an Assign action are converted to XmlBeans and then reverted to the native XQuery format for the next XQuery. Multiple "Assign" actions can be collapsed into a single Assign action using a FLWOR expression. Intermediate values can be created using "let" statements. Avoiding redundant context variable creation eliminates overheads associated with internal data format conversions. This benefit has to be balanced against visibility of the code and reuse of the variables.

    But I don't know how to do that. Can you show me ?
    Thank in advance

    if you return sequences, you can declare the return type of your xquery as xs:double*
    (notice the asterix at the end)
    but I have the impression that in the assign action only the first element will be assigned to the context variable
    (correct me if I am wrong)
    So in fact you might indeed have to transform the sequence into a element()*, or concatenate it into a CVS string - for instance using string-join

  • How do you move brushes/actions from CS4 to CS5?

    Hi. I've been using Photoshop CS4 Extended and have a ton of actions, styles, brushes, and other custom settings that I'd like to now import into CS5 Extended. Is there a tool for doing this? If not, how do you manually accomplish this task? Thanks.

    It depends which folder you assigned them to,but as an example: Program Files > Adobe > Photoshop CS4 > Presets > Brushes
    Select your custom brush sets using the Shift arrow keys or Ctrl-click with your mouse to select the sets that are scattered.
    Ctrl-C to copy
    Open the CS5 presets > Brushes folder from there and use Ctrl - v to paste the sets into that folder.
    The best suggestion I have heard so far is to keep a seperate Presets folder for custom stuff in the Adobe folder and simply load them from the Brushes, Actions and Styles menu.
    That way you can get at them no matter the version of CS.

  • How can I locate my iTunes library files. When I click on my itunes icon the message appears, "The file iTunes Library.itl." cannot be found because it was created by a newer version of iTunes."

    How can I locate my iTunes library files?  When I click on my iTunes icon rather than my iTunes files I receive, " The file iTunes Library.itl." cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes."  I have already tried to update my iTunes program.

    Had same problem and solved it without having to reinstore any music or movies:
    1. Delete old Library file
    2. Go to the 'Previous iTunes Libraries' folder and copy one of the earlier files - note, they have a date extension, e.g. 'iTunes Library 2011-11-01'.
    3. Paste this file in your iTuners folder and rename file by removing the date extension -  'iTunes Library'
    You should have all your music and paylists in tact, unless it was a really old previous file.

  • How can i locate the resource file in the weblogic?

    hello
    in struts, i can leave some parameter in a resource file (such as "Application.properties")outside of my code,and get them in the "Action" class by the "getResource" method.
    in my data access tier,i still want to use such a machanism but i can't use the "getResource()" method,for example,there is a ConnectionPool class,i want to read some parameters from a resource file ("param.properties") that is under the same directory as the ConnectionPool class,the following is the code snippet:
    public static void init(DataSource ds){
    myself=new ConnectionPool(ds);
    java.util.Properties prop=new java.util.Properties();
    try{
    java.io.FileInputStream fin=new java.io.FileInputStream("./param.properties");
    prop.load(fin);
    }catch(Exception e){
    e.printStackTrace();
    System.out.println(prop.get("help.create"));
    the "ConnectionPool" class is in the "com.jhtop.task.forum.db.util" package,the "param.properties" is in the same package (com.jhtop.task.forum.db.util),
    but when i execute the program,it tell me that it can't find the file.if i use the absolute path,it works.
    i wonder how can i locate the file path in the weblogic,or what's my current path,or how may i setup my work directory?
    in tomcat,my current directory is bin directory,how about weblogic?
    who can help me?thank you!

    My english is bad and I'm not sure I've well understood your problem.
    How have you created your file ?
    Why do you put it in such a directory and not an other ?

    Have you just created this iTunes Library?
    Have you recently added the missing music music from an external hard drive?
    If it's none of the above, what have you been doing recently? For example, have you been "sorting" your files in your file manager?

    this is my set of saved actions...i was told to paste it in here...is this what you ment?

    Who told you to post in the scripting forum…? To be honest you a talking to a pretty small selection of AI users here… Actions would be better discussed in the General Fourm where more users use them… That and I don't know a user who posts in this little community who uses CC yet…
    #target illustrator
    var aiActions = File( Folder.desktop + '/YourActionsNameHere.aia' );
    if ( aiActions.exists ) {
              app.loadAction( aiActions );
    } else {
              alert( 'Could NOT locate your Actions' );
    I've no idea if the above works Im using CS5 so can't test… You could try adding to a Startup Scripts folder in your app folder…

  • How to get locations in Module?

    How to get locations in Module?
    We are using OWB repository 10.2.0.1.0 and OWB client 10.2.0.1.31. The Oracle version is 10 G (10.2.0.3.0). OWB is installed on Linux.
    As we create target schema, it created location with host/port option. It is not allowing us to change to sql*net type connection. I tried after unregistering via CC as well.
    I created new location under location explorer as SQL*Net type location (L-SQL). I tested the location and registered via CC.
    I tried to configure in existing module (right click, configure) to point to new location (L-SQL). The new location L_SQL is not showing up in tables's location drop down list.
    Any idea ?
    I like to find out, what are modules use the specific locations like impact analysis on locations.
    Do we have such features in OWB?
    Thanks in advance.
    RI

    Hi RI,
    there is no direct impact analysis on locations in OWB.
    But you can use OMBPlus or public views for getting this info
    Public views:
    select * from ALL_IV_OBJECT_CONFIGURATIONS where configured_object_name='<module_name>' and configuration_parameter_name='DB_LOCATION';
    and/or
    select location_name,metadata_location_name from ALL_IV_MODULES where information_system_name='<module_name>';
    OMBPlus command:
    OMBRETRIEVE ORACLE_MODULE '<module_name>' GET REFERENCE METADATA_LOCATION;
    OMBRETRIEVE ORACLE_MODULE '<module_name>' GET REFERENCE LOCATION;
    OMBRETRIEVE ORACLE_MODULE '<module_name>' GET REFERENCE LOCATIONS;
    OMBRETRIEVE ORACLE_MODULE '<module_name>' GET REFERENCE DEFAULT LOCATION;
    OMBRETRIEVE ORACLE_MODULE '<module_name>' GET PROPERTIES (DB_LOCATION);
    Last OMBPlus command can return different values for different configurations.

  • How & where to use Java script to create new button in object detail page

    Hi All,
    I want to create "New/Add button" in object detail page. If i am not wrong i need to use java script for that but could you please let me know how & where to use Java script to create new button in object detail page in CRMOD.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Manish

    Any related object on the detail page should have an "Add" or "New" or both buttons by default - This is vanilla functionality and will do the required action.
    If you want to modify this behaviour and do something tricky you will potentially have to go for javascript. You should add the javascript on a custom web tab on that Object.
    Admin --> Application Customization --> Contact -->Contact Web Applet
    Now, add your javascript in the code area, after you select the type = HTML for this web applet, expose this web applet on the Contact detail layout and your javascript will be invoked whenever this page is loaded.
    Check this online document to see how javascript can be embedded in CRM on Demand http://helponmyproject.com/TTOCOD/
    Cheers!

  • My iTunes says there are 17 songs it cannot locate. How do I locate which songs these are without clicking on each song in my whole library?

    My iTunes says there are 17 songs it cannot locate. How do I locate which songs these are without clicking on each song in my whole library?

    To locate all of the broken links in your library try:
    Lost & Found Playlists
    Create a regular playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist (it may take some time to count the tracks that are to be dropped). Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist. They can be deleted with Ctrl+A to select them and then Shift+Delete to discard them.
    The exercise can be repeated with different media sources if needed.
    Or try iTunes Folder Watch with its option to check for dead tracks on startup.

  • How can I locate a Scheduler job?

    Hi there,
    In the alert log, I see the following error :
    ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 2915
    My question is - how do I find the definition for job 2915?
    And before you say - "that's easy, it's in all_scheduler_jobs", it's
    not in all_scheduler_jobs. The old dbms_job package had a column for
    job number, but the Scheduler doesn't. I've scrutinized the definition for
    all the Scheduler views, but nothing reveals the job number.
    When I look at all the jobs listed in dba_scheduler_jobs, nothing seems
    likely to be this mysterious job 2915.
    Does anyone have any idea how I can locate it?
    Thanks!
    Paul Stuart

    Hi,
    Actually I've been meaning to write this info up as a DBA tip, but never get round to doing it...
    The job number referred to is in fact the Object ID of the Job when dealing with a new Scheduler job and not an original DBMS_JOB job.
    Scheduler jobs are database objects now rather than just 'rows in a table' so have an object ID, visible in dba_objects. But the dba_scheduler jobs view does not display this column!
    See this example, I create a Job that refers to a non existant procedure. The object ID matches that put into the alert log when it fails only a second later:
    SQL> declare
      2    jname varchar2(30) := 'JOB_TEST';
      3    jtype varchar2(16) := 'PLSQL_BLOCK'; -- 'PLSQL_BLOCK', 'STORED_PROCEDURE', 'EXECUTABLE'
      4    jaction varchar2(256) := 'not_a_real_proc;';
      5  begin
      6
      7    dbms_scheduler.create_job (
      8                  job_name        => jname,
      9                  job_type        => jtype,
    10                  job_action      => jaction,
    11                  start_date      => systimestamp,
    12                  enabled         => TRUE,
    13                  auto_drop       => FALSE,
    14                  comments        => 'Test job can be dropped'
    15                  );
    16
    17  end;
    18  /
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    SQL> select object_id,  object_type,object_name
      2  from dba_objects
      3  where object_name = 'JOB_TEST' and object_type = 'JOB';
    OBJECT_ID OBJECT_TYPE         OBJECT_NAME
         53645 JOB                 JOB_TEST
    SQL> select job, error_date, error_line2 from dba_job_errors;
           JOB ERROR_DATE          ERROR_LINE2
         53646 04/09/2007 22:03:17 PLS-00201: identifier 'NOT_A_REAL_PROC' must be declaredHTH

  • How to use classes in Actions tab

    Hello guys!
    I'm just a beginner so i'm sorry for my stupid question.I'm developing a game in which movie clips in our case people have their own schedule.I have multiple screens and so i want to be able to set their locations and make them invisible on other screens(rooms)they're not currently at.The trouble is i can't use variables from Actions in my class,neither can i use classes in my Actions.Can anyone tell me how to export classes into Actions code?
    Here is my code:
    var currentlocation;
    var currentscreen;
    if (person.currentlocation!==currentscreen){
    person.visible=false;
    btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_MouseClickHandler);
    function fl_MouseClickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void
              currentscreen = "classroom";
              classroom.visible = true;
              playroom.visible = false;
    btn_2.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_MouseClickHandler_2);
    function fl_MouseClickHandler_2(event:MouseEvent):void
              currentroom = "playroom";
              classroom.visible = false;
              playroom.visible = true;

    Your problem/question is not clear to me.  If you are getting errors you should include the error messages in your posting.
    Could the problem arise from using a variable that is not defined?
    currentroom = "playroom";
    I do not see currentroom defined as a variable anywhere.  There is a currentscene variable though.

  • How do I locate pandora bookmarks on ipad2

    how do I locate bookmarks I make in pandora on an ipad2?

    Albums and photos created on the iPad, like the Camera Roll and Imported Albums can be deleted by deleting all the photos within those albums.
    Albums that you copied to your iPad during a sync with your computer are removed by doing another sync.
    Start iTunes on the computer you sync with previously and connect your iPad. Select your iPad in the left column of iTunes on your computer and select Photos in the top bar of the right column of iTunes. Then deselect the album you want to delete and click on Apply. The iPad will go through a sync process and remove the album or albums you deselected.
