How do I locate sent emails from iPhoto?

I cannot trace the emails I sent using "share" in iPhoto. I misplaced one recipient's email address and need to send another group of photos. It does not appear in my mail application.

As you've learned it difficult to find photos that have been emailed. Not like it is in Mail with the Sent folder.  Send a feature request to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.

  • Where can i find the sent emails from iphoto?

    Sending emails from iphoto works.
But where can i find the history of my sent emails from iphoto. I can´t find it in mail.
    Thanks for help!

iPhoto and Mail are two entirely separate apps, so Mail keeps no record of what iPhoto does and vice versa.
iPhoto's mail feature is aimed at folks who use web mail generally, and who wanted templates. It's a handy way to send photos to Grandma, it's not an email client. It doesn't have a history or sent mail box.
    Workarounds:
You can set iPhoto to bcc yourself automatically
    or
Use Mail. It has templates too, and more of them.

  • Confirming and viewing sent emails from iPhoto

how do I see which emails actually went through that I sent directly from iPhoto?  I am not using Mobile Me account...

iPhoto does not have an OutBox. Short of bcc-ing yourself, there is no way.

  • HT201269 How can i transfer sent email from my old iphone to the new one?

Trying to figure out how to transfer sent email from my old iphone 4 to my new iphone 5s.  Anyone have any idea?

If you have a POP account, this will not happen. If you have an IMAP or Exchange account signing in as the other poster stated will work. So, it depends on what type of account you have.

  • How can I find sent photos from IPHoto?

There doesn't seem to be a way to see what photos I sent to whom on IPhoto. I sent a photo today to someone but I can't find it anywhere. This is not a good thing.  Does anyone know how to find these emails that were sent? Thanks.

iPhoto is not an email client and the mail feature is a handy way to send a snap to Grandma rather than a replacement for an email app. It does not have an outbox, for instance. You can opt to bcc yourself on photos though or simply use an email client.

  • How can I get sent email from my BB reflected in sent mail on Gmail?

I use Gmail, custom Google Apps email, and a Sprint BlackBerry email. Strangly, if I send email from the GApps email address, I can later see that when I log in and view the Sent Mail folder. I don't see that happening with Gmail. Is there anything special I need to do to fix it?
"If it ain't broke, shoot it with a .44 until it is. Then get it replaced."

On your device at options > advanced > Service Books, delete the two instances of that gmail address, and then, With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
Now, open your email setup or setup wizard on the device and delete that gmail address.
Then, set it back up again, same location.
You should notice a change now and the reconcile of your gmail sent messages to the server.

  • How to copy picture into email from iPhoto 9.6 (910.29) after OS X Yosemite download

    Hi.
Since updating to Yosemite on MacBook Air when I try to copy and paste a photo from iPhoto to an email instead of the photo coming up in the email, which it has always done, I get something like this pasted in the email ...file:111Users/Pictures?iPhoto%20Library/Previews/2014/09/11/20140911144300/u kEgw etc etc etc ... ending in .jpg.
How please do I now send a picture in an aol email, or what do I untick or tick, to change the above figures and numbers to the actual photo, so when I copy and paste a photo from iPhoto, the picture comes up in an aol email and not gobbledegook (sorry computer bods!!!) figures and numbers!!
    Very many thanks.
    Bobby

Well, I will tackle the picture problem and see what I can learn.  I am in Los Gatos, California (Silicon Valley) and there is an Apple store 2 miles away so I will go in ask them about this. It will take me a couple of days  to get that done likely.  Frankly, I have the same general problem about pasting stuff into that screen where you are writing emails.  Something amiss here.
I am unfamiliar with the problem you have with BlueTooth interfering with WiFi and think that is likely specific to you, or more likely something completely different that LOOKS like a Bluetooth related problem.  I am normally and right this minute running a BlueTooth keyboard and mouse and the computer is a MacBook Pro connected via WiFi through an Apple Extreme router to the internet and to my printer.  I have had no issues that I know of between BlueTooth and WiFi.  The same is true for the iPad and a bluetooth keyboard which communicates by WiFi with this home network and my iPhone and Bluetooth headset that I use adjacent to the computer.  All this worked "right out of the box" so to speak
    Thanks for your reply

  • Photos not showing in sent email from iPhoto

I am sending emails from within iphoto, obviously with photos attached.
    My email is gmail.
When the mail is sent, if I look in my sent mail folder, I do not see the photos in the mail body.
However, when I look on my actual online gmail account, they are there. And the recipients are receiving the photos fine.
Does anyone know if there is a setting I need to change somewhere to allow me to see the photos in my send mail folder ?
    Thanks

After iPhoto has created the Compose window, and before sending, click on Format in the menubar, and choose Make Plain Text. Both iPhoto and Aperture function for email results in Rich Text Format (even if no text) and the resulting message will run afoul of either someone's SPAM filter, or Outlook and Outlook Express' inability to properly deal with RTF.

  • How do I get sent emails from iPhone to appear in sent emails on Mac Mail?

Trying to set it up so when I send emails from my iPhone 3GS that they appear in my sent messages folder on the server in my Mail program on my computer. Any smooth ways to set this up? Thanks in advance.
    J.

Just depends on what type of mail protocol you are using. Works just fine for IMAP or Exchange.

  • How do I stop sent email from Gmail from appearing in my Mac Mail?

I use my Mac Mail to send my personal emails... However I also use it to monitor my work email. However, when I use my work Gmail account to send multiple messages either on my phone or on my computer through Gmail, whenever I go into mac Mail I have 40+ copies of the emails I sent. I tried to look in the setting if there's something that disables this... Can anyone help? It's so annoying. I send more than 40 emails a day... I don't wanna have to sort through what I sent and what I received in my email. Thanks!

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Have you clicked the arrowhead to the left of the Inbox?
It reveals each account you've set up with Mail.
Just click on the individual account you want to view, and only those messages will be displayed.
To return to viewing all received messages, click back on Inbox at the top.
Same for Drafts, Sent, Trash, and Junk.

  • Xfer sent emails from droid to sent mail folder on PC

Can I/How do I transfer sent emails from my droid to my PCs sent mail folders (or Gmail's or Outlook's)? I send lots of email on-the-go and want to keep a record of them with my other emails.  Thanks!

This depends on which account you are talk about... The gMail account should automatically sync the sent items from your device but some accounts wont allow sync of all folders and the only way without a third party app is to send a CC to yourself when you sent the messages.

My photos shrink in size when emailed from IPHOTO or attached - How can I fix this. My friends say they can't see my pictures... thanks!!

When you email from iPhoto, you have a choice as to the size of the picture - choose medium and your friends will be able to see them.  By the way, do your friends click on the photo attachment  in the mail to open it?
