How do I locate the crash logs - OSX 10.8.5

I cannot locate the crash logs on my Mac Pro. Any advice?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
In the Console window, look under the heading DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION on the left for crash or panic reports. If you don't see that heading, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.

You eee, every day my ipad ios 5.01 crashes multiple times. Usually in safari. But now even atomic browser is starting with the same thing. What ever happened to apple?

I always shut down apps. Usually only have safari and settings. I clear data and history. Hard reboot Turned off all use of icloud Etc etc. nothing works.
I should simply accept this buggy OS? Wow. Okay. Sure. Youre right. No choice but to. That seems to be apples intention. After all, the next big thing is... Next couple weeks right?

I'm using an app called Unisyn. It's purpose to is to catalogue synthesizer configurations. The editor/librarian communicates using System Exclusive code, in hex, based on the MIDI protocol developed years ago. Manufacturers all have specific ID's built into the header files.
It works fine with my present day synths, however I recently purchased an older product which has been buggy at best. It has documentation and per the user manual it is supported. I've managed to create a profile successfully, but when I attempt to edit the parameters my Unisyn 2.1.1 crashes, consistently. Below I have pasted the crash log.

In the Utilities folder (see GO in finder, choose Utilities item) you
can see Console and launch it from the folder; note it does have
some information on how to troubleshoot or decipher the crash
logs in various parts of the System.
And it doesn't look too complicated; except for the parts where
it tries to explain the meanings of those odd words in the logs.
Since I haven't gotten into using it for anything, that's all I know.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.

Where can I find the "Crash Log"?

I am currently running MacUpdate Desktop 6.0 RC2 and have an ongoing crash issue when my Mac starts up. The writers of this software have asked me to send them the "crash log" but I cannot locate it. Can anyone help? I have "sent" it via the system crash report that appears before the application is restarted.

Apple does not offer a user-searchable log of where the phone has been. Not saying they don't keep one, but I think you'd need a search warrant or work for the NSA or FBI to get access to such data.

In InDesign document, I am updating the links using javascript. After updating the links, If i have opened the same document for two or more time, Indesign gets crashed. So i need to find the crash logs.
Please tell me how to find or generate crash log in InDesign CC.

use the variables ErrorCode and ErrorDescription
to create the body of the email message
these variables will give you the error details.

How can i locate the resource file in the weblogic?

hello
in struts, i can leave some parameter in a resource file (such as "Application.properties")outside of my code,and get them in the "Action" class by the "getResource" method.
in my data access tier,i still want to use such a machanism but i can't use the "getResource()" method,for example,there is a ConnectionPool class,i want to read some parameters from a resource file ("param.properties") that is under the same directory as the ConnectionPool class,the following is the code snippet:

How to automatically clear the compiler log

Does anyone know how to automatically clear the compiler log window immediately prior to compilation? "Upon compilation" might be a better way to say it.
I couldn't find any preference settings that would enable this functionality.
I'm using SQL Developer version 2.1.0.63.73, which I believe is the lastest version.

now,i want to implement such function within the ejb container,that is to read
a properties file from session bean,but i don't know how can i locate the file
within the ejb container by using relative path,i wonder if there is the same
method within ejb container as "getResourceAsStream(.......)" method within servlet
container?

In general, you should look at using environment entries (variables) in the
deployment descriptors (both the war and EJB jar rather than properties
files for configuring J2EE applications. The reasons for this are many:
1. This is the official way to do it according to the spec. Properties
files are the J2SE way of doing things
2. As you note, that it's not obvious how you would (legally) read a
properties file inside an EJB.
3. It's consistent between the web and EJB part of your code
4. the weblogic console and tools have good capabilities to edit these
fields.

The files that weren't inside the media folder on the original machine need to be copied over to exactly the same paths as they had on the source machine. See this thread for an ongoing discussion of a similar problem. See also this post on migrating the iTunes library.

How can I locate the original .CR2 / Raw file from Photos in finder?

How can I locate the original .CR2 / RAW file from Photos in the finder window? I would like to know a easier way to open my files and use them in Photoshop than having to go to the Pictures folder, right clicking "show packaged contents", and manually searching for my CR2's / RAW's. It is also ridiculous to have to export the RAW file to my desktop, and then take it into Photoshop or another photo editing program. I was able to do this in iPhoto and find I cannot do so in Photos. Please help? Can you please consider adding a right click function that says "Show Original file in Finder". That would make it so much easier and better for those of us who want a simple way to access the original files and use them in other editing programs. At least with iPhoto you could go to the top menu / preferences and find your items.
