How do I log in via a webbrowser?

When I tried to log in to check my mail, I suddenly got an error message stating that I must log in via a web browser and since I cannot log in.I did not change any settings and do not know what's actually wrong.

Your email provider will have a web page where you can log into your email account. Use an Internet browser to navigate to your providers web mail page and log into your account. You will need to ask your provider about the error message since it is coming from them.

  • EA4500: how to send logs to syslog or via email?

    Hello,
    I absolutely need to collect the router logs and send them to a syslog daemon or via email.
    How xan I achieve that?
    Thanks

    The router does not have the feature where you can save the logs to a notepad, why not click on Open in Browser and then copy and paste the results to a notepad or wordpad so that you can go ahead and send it thru email.
    Please check link below how to enable logs in the router:

  • How can a network account log on via ssh to run jobs?

    We have a small setup with a tiger server and snow leopard clients. Each user has their own machine, but we have some communal mac pro machines. A lot of the software we run uses xwindows and I would like to have a method that allowed the users to ssh to these number crunching machines and run their parallel code at the same time, without having to log on using the apple log in window.
    The problem: The home directory is mounted at log in and is only readable for the person who physically logs in at that computer, so if a network user logis in via ssh they cannot see their home directory, and the authentication for xwindows screws up and there is no display.
    How can I make my client machines mount the home directory properly, and in a readable way, so that my network users can ssh to various client machines and have all their data available?
    I look forward to being illuminated.

    If you want others to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account(s). In the other account(s), enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in their source pane.
    Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.

  • How to deactivate logging via brtools

    Hello
    I wander how to deactivate logging via brtools(640)
    regards

    hello,
    Can u pl specify by logging what do u exactly mean?
    I want to know if u meant to prevent users from logging to the database
    or u want to deactivate the archivelog mode.
    In the first if u want no user interaction on the database then take the database to mount mode instead of open mode by executing the following SQL
    ALTERDATABASE MOUNT;
    In the second case, if u want to turn the archivelog mode then do what VAle has suggested. But taking the database to nolog mode has a lot of serious demerits in the context to recovery and restoration of database in case of a crash. U wont be able to get the archive logfiles as the redo logfiles are over written in case of the database is in nolog mode.
    So think twice before u take the database into nologmode.

  • How to send purchase order via e-mail.

    Please could someone let me know how to send purchase order via e-mail.

    No, you do not need to touch ME_PRINT_PO. You need to put code before and after ME_PRINT_PO in the print program.
    Step 1 - Copy the standard print program SAPFM06P to make a Z version, lets call it ZSAPFM06P
    Step 2 - Copy include FM06PE02 to make a Z version, lets call that ZFM06PE02.
    Step 3 - ZSAPFM06P change the statement "Include FM06PE02" to read "Include ZFM06PE02".
    Step 4 - In include ZFM06PE02 you will find a subroutine called "ENTRY_NEU". In this subroutine you will see it first calls ME_READ_PO_FOR_PRINTING then calls ME_PRINT_PO. Before it calls ME_PRINT_PO just put:
    l_nast-nacha = 1.
    CLEAR l_nast-dimme.
    This means that ME_PRINT_PO will not e-mail, it will create a spool request.
    Step 5 - Still in ZFM06PE02, after ME_PRINT_PO has been called, add new code. First check that ent_retco EQ 0. If it does not then exit.
    Step 6 - Get the spool ID created by ME_PRINT_PO by either moving sy-msgv1 to a variable or select from NAST.
    Step 7 - Call function CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF using the spool ID from step 6, and put the result from table PDF into an internal table you can use later. ALso store the export variable pdf_bytecount, you will need it later.
    Step 8 - Call function SX_TABLE_LINE_WIDTH_CHANGE using the table from step 7 as content_in and put the results from content_out into a new internal table.
    Step 9 - Add some text into a internal table of type solisti1, this will be the body text of the e-mail.
    Step 10 - Add whatever receivers you want into an internal table of type somlreci1. If you just want it to go to the address that the PO would have gone to anyway, select the e-mail address from ADR6 where the address number = l_doc-xekko-adrnr, that is the data from the PO.
    Step 11 - Populate an internal table of type sopcklsti1 with data relevant to your PDF table from step 8 and the text table from step 9. You will have to put the size of the PDF from step 7 (pdf_bytecount) on the PDF line and the size of the text will be the number of lines of text * 255.
    Step 12 - Add info to a structure of type sodocchgi1. You can add the e-mail title in here, field obj_descr. Also add the size of the PDF and the size of the text from step 12 into doc_size, and give the doc a name in field obj_name. This can be anything, ZPDFPO for example.
    Step 13 - Call SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 using the tables from steps 8, 9, 10 and 11 and the structure from step 12. You can amend the sending e-mail also. Set commit_work to space.
    Step 14 - That is all you need, but I actually call function RSPO_R_RDELETE_SPOOLREQ to delete the spool request created in step 4, then call NAST_PROTOCOL_UPDATE to add some more messages to the processing log of the PO.
    That is all.

  • How do I log onto iCloud w/o going thru Apple support?

    I'm a little late to the transition of switching to iCloud via MobileMe and very much spoiled from having an easy access bookmark.
    Aside from going through Apple Support how do I log on ? I'm using System OSX 10.7.4 on my MacBook Pro and OSX 10.4.11
    on my iMac. This is probably easier than I realise I know but would really appreciate an answer. Oh and yes, I have successfully
    "moved" over to iCloud via System Preferences to iCloud. I just want an easy access bookmark button.

    Thanks Kappy, this makes perfect sense. I actually was able to go through the support thread
    for access but never the " Log On Page " directly. That said how do I delete unwanted items
    from my Bookmarks Bar " in order to add iCloud ? the .mac button among others were added
    by me or my friend induplicating the lineup on my nw MacBook Pro. The icloud button would
    replace the .mac button on the bookmarks bar. Thanks for taking time to answer basic

  • How to view active services via terminal e.g. status of AFP etc...

    Hi : )
    How do I view whether AFP is enabled or not via the terminal?
    I thought I could view /etc/hostconfig to get the answer when logged in via e.g. SSH. But in Leopard running the following terminal command:
    cat /etc/hostconfig | grep "=\-" | sort
    Always shows AFPSERVER as NO whether or not file sharing is turned on or not.
    At the top of this file, it says #this file is going away. So I'm guessing there is another / better way to view this.
    Hunting around a bit, I found that if I:
    netstat -a
    and filesharing is running, there are two entries *.afpovertcp and *.afpovert in the output.
    tcp4 0 0 *.afpovertcp . LISTEN
    tcp6 0 0 *.afpovert . LISTEN
    Turning off filesharing removes these from netstat.
    Doing the above command takes a few seconds to get a result as it seems to poll a whole range of different services and protocols, which as I'm calling this from a script I don't have time for, so if I:
    netstat -a -f inet6 | grep afp
    I get a near instantaneous result of:
    tcp6 0 0 *.afpovert . LISTEN
    if filesharing is turned on and null if it is turned off.
    Can anyone point me in a different direction? Is there another way? Or is this as good as any?
    Thanks...

    Actually, after further review, this method doesn't work as it only returns the last log entry for AFP status rather than the current status.
    E.g. the last log entry could be AFP Control: AFP Error but if the computer is then restarted, AFP Control doesn't get logged in the system log on restart. Hence the egrep command still returns: AFP Error, when in fact AFP is actually enabled and running.
    Hence back to my original question! anyone know a way to view if FileSharing is currently active via the terminal, even when there are no connected users other than:
    netstat -a -f inet6 | grep afp
    and looking for:
    tcp6 0 0 *.afpovert . LISTEN
    as the result??? Or is this a reliable method? i.e. if afpovert is present is that a hard and fast way of discovering filesharing is enabled?

  • How to call Jakarta Ant via JAVA?

    Hi.
    My application has a new menu. This menu creates a build.xml Ant file.
    Now, when this menu is invoked , its action should call
    Jakarta Ant, after creating the xml file, so that the build.xml will
    do what is necessary.
    How can I do it? That is, how to call the Ant via java?
    Is there any way to use an Ant object?
    Thanks?
    Rodrigo Pimenta Carvalho.

    There is a slight problem in that
    PorjectHelper.configureProject is deprecated, but
    that is what Main calls...maybe someone else will
    complete this thread with an alternative call.The javadoc recommends using the non static method parse() instead. This is available by implementing class ProjectHelperImpl. An alternative to the code above might look like this:
            Project ant = new Project();
            ProjectHelper helper = new ProjectHelperImpl();
            ant.init();
            helper.parse(ant, new File("build.xml"));
            ant.executeTarget("clean");you might also want to add a logger so you can see the output of events generated by ant. The DefaultLogger class would be used like this. Simply add the code before you call the ant.init().
            DefaultLogger log = new DefaultLogger();
            log.setErrorPrintStream(System.err);
            log.setOutputPrintStream(System.out);
            log.setMessageOutputLevel(Project.MSG_INFO);
            ant.addBuildListener(log);

  • How long redo logs keep the transactions?

    I learn Oracle and decide to do an experiment. There was a table in the test database. I deleted the file that contained this table via OS. And then I added transactions to this table.
    I did 'insert' several times, then 'commit', then 'alter system switch logfile' several times, 'alter system flush buffer_cache', 'alter system flush shared_pool' and nothing happened. I could add and take data from this table successfully. Alert log showed the error only when I shutdown the database.
    SQL> shutdown immediate
    ORA-01116: error in opening database file 13
    ORA-01110: data file 13: '/oracle/oradata/test5/POSTEMPTEST2.dbf'
    ORA-27041: unable to open file
    Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory
    Additional information: 3
    I understand that transactions are put in the redo logs at first, and then are transferred to the datafile on disk. I thought that command 'ALTER SYSTEM CHECKPOINT' writes transactions from redo logs to datafile on disk, but I was wrong. How long redo logs keep transactions? Is there the way to push data from redo logs to datafile?
    I use Oracle 10.2.0.1.0.

    i believe this time you will see the error message during your SQLsWRONG!probably you did not read the complete post of mine before saying WRONG. You tell me, if data file containing a table is deleted at OS level (in *nix), and then you try to insert data in this table and want to retrieve the data from the table (If data is not in db cache or cache has been flushed), from where data will come? Or if you want to insert some data into this table for which new extent are required to be allocated, where it will be allocated? Will your SQLs succeed or will return some error? Either SQL should return you data (which is not possible as data file is no there to fetch the data), or SQL should fail with some error message.
    I mimicked the situation on IBM AIX, following is the outcome.
    Enter user-name: system/salman
    Connected to:
    Oracle Database 11g Release 11.1.0.7.0 - 64bit Production
    SQL> create table test as select * from dba_tables;
    Table created.
    SQL> alter table test move tablespace users;
    Table altered.
    SQL> insert into test select * from dba_tables;
    2500 rows created.
    SQL> /
    2500 rows created.
    SQL> /
    2500 rows created.
    SQL> commit;
    Commit complete.Now i deleted the users01.dbf file at OS level and then execute following INSERT
    SQL> insert into test select * from test;
    insert into test select * from test
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-01565: error in identifying file '/oracle/oradata/test/users01.dbf'
    ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status
    IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 2: No such file or directory

  • How much of logging is too much of logging?

    Hi All,
    OK, that was my question, how much of logging is too much of logging?
    Recently one of my co-worker (not me, not me at all) had written about 100 classes and after getting the framework right, he has now been asked to log all those bunch of classes and methods.
    He is damn bored and fed up with logging and he needs to log it in a ratio of 1 line of logging per 10 lines of code (approximately). And he also must log "ENTERING", "EXITING" in each method whenever he enters and exits a method.
    I personally like to log as little as possible, although we don't log everything in INFO and we do log a lot of things in DEBUG logging level, logging every method doesn't feel correct to me.
    And I hate too much of logging because to me it makes the code unreadable. Many of you will disagree this point, but I feel the important log statements often get messed up with those "ENTERING" and "EXITING" kind of log statements.
    And another question, when is the right time to log? Logging as and when we are writing the code or logging it after everything is done (like how the pure dude is doing now). The former seems to be the better.
    Your thoughts??
    Thank you

    Hi All,
    OK, that was my question, how much of logging is too
    much of logging?Too general for a one size fits all answer.
    And he also must log
    "ENTERING", "EXITING" in each method whenever he
    enters and exits a method.Sounds fine, especially if it logs the parameters passed to the method, as well as what it returned (if not void) or if it returned via exception.
    >
    I personally like to log as little as possible,
    although we don't log everything in INFO and we do
    log a lot of things in DEBUG logging level, logging
    every method doesn't feel correct to me.It's reasonable. During development, logging may be very verbose, but it can be useful. During production, you can configure the logging to not log at the DEBUG level, so you wouldn't see these log messages anyway and it shouldn't impact performance enough to be a concern.
    And I hate too much of logging because to me it makes
    the code unreadable. Many of you will disagree this
    point, but I feel the important log statements often
    get messed up with those "ENTERING" and "EXITING"
    kind of log statements.This is a perfect fit for AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming). Rather than clutter the code with these log messages, these can be "woven" into the bytecode at compile-time or run-time.
    Aspect-J is one popular AOP framework.
