it's probably really obvious, but i just got my phone today. i can get online, but when i get to ebay i don't know how to enter my screen name and password. how do i make the keyboard come up so i can enter info and log in?

I cannot log onto website using Pluck server blog software.

Pluck is server software from pluck.com. It is used on blogs and forums websites. It manages these websites. I am unable to log onto one of these websites as the log on hangs with Firefox. If I change to IE, I can log on. The log on is inconsistent in that the process stops at different points when different subsites in the domain are employed.
By simply closing Firefox and opening Internet Explorer, I can log on. Pluck is described at www.pluck.com .

Move the com.apple.appstore and the com.apple.storeagent files from the Caches folder to the Trash
From the same Library folder open the Preferences folder.
Move these files Preferences folder to the Trash: com.apple.appstore.plist and com.apple.storeagent.plist
Same Library folder open the Cookies folder. Move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the MAS.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

I'm finding it frusrtrating and annoying since I cannot use Firefox 4.0 Beta 6. It works on other accounts excluding mine - What is this crap rigged or something? I have to resort to crappy Google Chrome and Safari since it messed up on both of my computers... Here's what it says when I double-click the short-cut: " Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behaviour when accessing security features. " Although, it says the way to help - Can you like, dumb it down for me?
ALSO, here's what it says when I go onto http://runescape.com - It says: An error occurred during a connection to www.runescape.com:443.
Can't connect securely because the SSL protocol has been disabled.

I'm a little late to the transition of switching to iCloud via MobileMe and very much spoiled from having an easy access bookmark.

I am reding the installation guide for WAS 6.40 JAVA on WIN oracle. I have installed the instance and the manual talks about logging onto the instance with a gui?
I have entered the instance name and number in the 6.40 gui, but it just hangs there. I have also tried to log in to the system with the URL localhost:50000 and localhost:50100 I only get the j2ee start page?
Any one have any ideas.

Safari on ipad not logging onto website

When attemting to logon to a secure site (such as my webmail account) Safari seems to hang or not pass full details through to the authenticating server and returns an error message (unable to log you on etc). Any ideas - is there a setting on Safari I could have set - was working OK yesterday. Install OS v7.0.2 yesterday evening.

For how long? After some time on my iPad the problem re-occurs and then it all starts by again rebooting. To my opinion this solution is not a permanent one.
