How do I log out of iTunes and sign into a different account? My mom just gave me her computer, and I need to upload my own itunes account on the mac and delete her account.
To log her out try going to the iTunes Store, click on the account name in the upper right corner, and then click "Sign Out". Next, you'll need to sign in by clicking on the same button in the upper right and then enter your account information. Once you're logged in I think you should be able to sync your music files or download your past purchases from the store to update your computer.

If you are planning on letting your children play with it wait 15 minutes before handing it to them and any purchases will require the password to be entered.
And go into Restrictions and turn inapp purchases off.

Everytime I try and sign into my iCloud account it tells me I can't log in due to a server error, but there is nothing wrong with my server . It also wont allow me to view any of my Photos or Documents that I have backed up. Please help

Are you running any Anti-virus software or do you have your firewall turned on? If so, disable them and try again. If that doesn't work, delete the iCloud account and then sign it back on again.
Make sure you are running the most current version of the iCloud Control Panel:

If you meant the iTunes Store, you click your Apple ID at the upper-right of the iTunes Store and click the Sign Out button in the window that will appear.

I want to sign in to iTunes on my husband's computer, but I do not want to sign into HIS iTunes account. Once someone has logged into an account on iTunes, is that account locked into that computer?
Also, I am trying to do some setup for my mother-in-law's iphone. Her SIM is not here at my house, can I put my SIM into her phone and then connect to my husband's computer? Will her phone be set up under my name or can I set it up using her iTunes account with a different SIM (temporarily)???
I'm afraid to get locked into a. my husband's iTunes from his computer and b. onto his mom's phone.

iTunes account is not the same as iTunes library.
iTunes account is what you use to purchase from iTunes.
iTunes library is what is on your computer.
You can have items from multiple iTunes accounts in one iTunes library. -
i have an ipod nano and i had many troubles setting it up. now it is completely set up and working....ish. My sister got an ipod nano to and i tried to have her itunes in a different library which worked. now heres the problem whenever i try to sync my ipod with itunes it says "another user on this computer is using the ipod software, so itunes is unable to communicate with this ipod. Please ask other user to log out." i went to the other users account and i clicked the X on itunes and it still had the problem. ive also tried to completely log out of their user name but it still had the problem. please help me

Open the account you want it permanently off of, go to the desktop, right click on My Computer, and hit Manage.
Hit Services & Applications>Services>iPodsrv (or iPodservice, it's an older version).
Double click, set the 'startup type' to Disabled, and it won't open in that account.
Rinse, repeat for any other accounts as needed. -
How can I find out which iTunes library my computer is using?
I have a desktop Mac Mini at home that my wife uses and a MacBook Pro that I use at home and in the office. I wanted to be able to access all the music we have on both machines from both machines, even when I am out and about and have no network connection for my MacBook Pro. So, I uploaded all the music we had on iTunes to Dropbox, and this now syncs on both computers. So, whenever either of us adds music to iTunes, the songs are saved on both machines within the Music folder in Dropbox, which syncs in real time across both computers. So far so good.
However, what I am finding is that, when either of us adds new music to our respective iTunes, it only shows on the computer on which it's been added. So, within a matter of weeks, our computers no longer show the same music in our respective iTunes windows, even though the music is present on both machines in the synchronised Dropbox folder.
I realised that the computers must start using different iTunes library to each other when new songs are added to either machine. So, I figured that, when we add music to one of the computers, if I pointed iTunes on the computer that has the less up-to-date music to the latest library that is being used by the computer with the more up-to-date music, this would ensure that both machines showed the same music in their repective iTunes windows. The problem is that I cannot work out which iTunes library is being used by the computer with the more up-to-date music on it. I know how to choose a different library when I open iTunes (hold down alt) but that doesn't help, because I all I want to do is to FIND OUT WHICH LIBRARY IS BEING USED BY ITUNES ON THE COMPUTER WITH THE MORE UP-TO-DATE MUSIC. I simply can't find a way of getting iTunes to show me which library it is using, although this must be the simplest thing in the world. An additional issue is that I want to playlists we have created to appear on both machines - will that be the case if I point the less up-to-date iTunes (on my wife's Mac Mini) to the library of the more up-to-date iTunes (on my MacBook Pro), since my computer with the more up-to-date iTunes shows all the playlists, whereas my wife's doesn't?
So, can anyone help? Plus if anyone knows of any software that can automatically ensure that two different Macs both use the same and most up-to-date iTunes library and therefore always show the lastest music collection, whichever machine the music has been added to, that would be fantastic. No answer for knowing which library is in use other than selecting it at startup. This question gets asked here occasionally but I don't think it is a high-demand feature since most people have just one library. I guess you could put in an empty playlist with the library name so you have an identifier. -
So yea my sister gave me her ipod touch and forgot her password, so I looked up how to restore it and it would not let me because it said I needed to sync the ipod up to the computer it had originally been synced to. Im nowhere near that computer and I just need to know is there another way I can restore to factory settings?

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
Try on another computer too and try another cable. -
I recently bought some christmas ringtones. And i noticed after a day or so that the ringtone just disappeared. So i re bought it. That disappeared as well, so i bought another one.. well you see the pattern. But i sync'd my phone up to iTunes and they are on there, they are just greyed out with a circle of dots next to it. How do i fix this issue so i can have my ringtones, and songs, back onto my iPhone 6.
Thanks !There has been a issue with ringtones and apple knows about it and is working on fixing it.
Apple is advising customers not to repurchase ringtones and if you did, just give them a ring and they will refund you.
Until then don't purchase any more ringtones at least until the next update.

Why can't I log out of Itunes on my ipod
My ipod has two itunes accounts on it. One I know the password to and the other one I don't. After I tap log out of itunes on my ipod and go to update my apps it still says that im still logged into the account that I dont know the password to.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again. -
Okay so when I try to download apps on my phone a totally different Apple ID that I've never used before popped up. I've already tried settings under apps/iTunes and signed into my own apple account. But even doing so my apple Id won't show up
Try this:
Open the iTunes app, select the Music tab, then scroll all the way down to the bottom. Here you can sign out of any current Apple ID and sign into a new one. Good luck!
