How do I make a project to create 800x450 movies?

I've gone through all the specifications.
It seems to never allow me to actually edit the pixel size.
Seems that i'm supposed to switch to "desktop mode" for editing?
but this box is not enabled either...
Help!
Thanks

Ah -- i see Bill has just answered the question about sizes in Pro.
Yes I am using the trial version of Premiere Elements.
So it appears to achieve my goal of doing 1:1 editing, i will have to buy premiere Pro.
But if I was ok with a slightly bigger pallette - then what is the smallest setting i could do in Elements from this list:
720 x 405
768 x 432
800 x 450
1024 x 576
1280 x 720

    how i can do that?
    thank's

    I'm not familiar with JBoreland IDE, but is there a way to export your project .jar file?
    If so than theres your solution. .Jar files just need to be exected (IE: Double click.) Also if this isn't the appropriate solution than you can export to a .jar file and use JSmooth to turn your .jar file into a .exe. For any other solutions I suggest you look on google.

    How do I make new albums in Photos and move photos from one album to another

    At the moment you can't - though it should be possible (if it makes it into the final release) in iOS 5 which will be available sometime in the Autumn. Photos cannot currently be moved between albums on the iPad.
    If  you sync separate folders from your computer you'll get an album for each of them on the iPad, and you have to sync all the folders/albums that you want together as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad (not including a folder in a sync is the way that you delete it from the iPad).

  • How do i make a new file created appear in the Application Navigator?

    I am doing an extension to JDeveloper..How do i make the new file that the user has created to appear in the Application Navigator?
    What methods can i use?
    These are my codes...but it does not work still...
    File file = new File(dir ,fileName);
    file.createNewFile();
    FileWriter fw = new FileWriter(file, false );
    PrintWriter pw = new PrintWriter( fw, true );
    Workspace workspace = ctx.getWorkspace();
    java.net.URL projectURL = workspace.getActiveProjectURL();
    URL url = file.toURL();
    Node node = new Node(url);
    jpr.add(node, true);
    node.open();
    NavigatorManager.getWorkspaceNavigatorManager().openNavigator(ctx);
    ProjectNavigatorManager.getApplicationNavigatorManager().openNavigator(ctx);
    EditorManager.getEditorManager().openDefaultEditorInFrame(node.getURL());

    If it's an IMAP type account then you should get an Edit button at the top of the list of folders that you currently have on your email account. If it's a POP type account then you won't get the Edit button, and you are limited to your existing folders

  • How do I make iMovie projects play in Windows Media Player?

    How do I make movies that I have created in iMovie play in Windows Media PLayer having been transferred by memory stick or email? This would be ideal to know because my school's computers are PCs and our main computer is an iMac.

    By far the easiest way is to have the school install the free QuickTime Player (Windows Version) from Apple.
    Otherwise, you can buy a version of Flip4Mac that will enable you to do the conversion using QuickTime Pro or MPEG Streamclip.

  • How do you make the project bin window Not come up in quick edit in PE9?

    A few weeks ago I started to notice the Project Bin coming up whenever I went to quick edit. I don't think it did it before that. I always have to go to windows and uncheck it to get more screen space to work with.
    How do I get the Project Bin to Not automatically come up when I press Quick edit in Premier Elements 9?

    This is the Premiere Elements forum.
    Quick Edit is a function of Photoshop Elements. If this is a question about Photoshop Elements, you're more likely to get an answer in the Photoshop Elements forum.

    Yes, thanks, I understand how to close it by what you said and also clicking on Project Bin title bar.
    I would like to know how to change the default so the project bin does not automatically open when I open quick edit.
    Anybody know how to change the default to do this?

  • How can I make the project into 16:9 when using 2 4:3 aspect ratio videos in project

    I want to make a project that is 16:9 but am adding a video of a talking head (speaker) fimed in 4:3 and I want to place that in upper left corner of project and then add a video of the powerpoint they were speaking to also filmed in 4:3

    There are a number of challenges to doing this, including the fact that doing so will require lots of rendering and the even bigger fact that, if you're planning to show this on a TV, up to 10% of the edge gets cut off, which means that any text you've got outside of the "safe zone" might be off the screen.
    But, with those caveats, place the upper left corner video on Video 1, select it and open Applied Effects. Open Motion and set the Position and Scale so that your video sits in the upper right corner.
    Add your images to Video 2 and do the same thing, setting Position and Scale so that it is in the lower left of your screen. Then add you main video to Video 3 and set its Position and Scale so that it is in the right 2/3 of your video frame.
    As I say, there are a number of potential problems with this kind of composite, so I'd recommend you do a very short test composition first, then output it and show it on the device or web site you hope to display it. That way you'll get the bugs out before you go investing a week's work into something that has you scrambling to fix at the last minute.

  • 6 movies - how do I make them play continuously as 1 movie?

    Hi,
    I've got 6 small movies which I want to play on a DVD, but I'd like them to play continuously - one after the other - is this possible on iDVD?
    Also, I'd like them to be able to select individual videos too.
    Any suggestions?

    I have linked several iMovie Projects into one seamless movie as follows... Once each "project" is complete in every detail, choose "Share" on the Menu. then click "Export Movie", select desired size and "Desktop" as destination for export. Do this with each project. Open the 1st project using "Quick Time Player" (I have Pro). Open 2nd "Project" also. Select "Edit" from Menu then click on "Select All". Select "Edit" from Menu then click "Copy". Close second project. On first project window, move slider at bottom as far to the right as you can. Select "Edit" from Menu and then click "Paste". Second movie project will be added to the end of the first. Do this will all projects until they are all linked as one movie. Select "File" from Menu and then click "Save As" (Whatever name). I usually save to desktop as a "Self-Contained Move". You can then drag it into your iDVD movie location. Hope that helps.

  • How do I make a project in Garage Band sound finished.

    I don't know how to make the ends of my loops sound like they are finished at the end of my project. Most of them just kind of end with no sense of being complete.

    Probably the easiest way is to just fade the song out via the Volume Curve in the Master Track. You can look up either of those terms in GB's help for more info on them
    Hope that helps

  • How can I make a projection of an image (diaporama) with LabView?

    Hi, I would like to project an image (or better a matrix stored in a table) on a second screen (or videoprojector, or whatever) connected to the computer. In two words I would like to do what PowerPoint does by pressing on "diaporama".
    Does somebody knows if that is possible with LabView (without scrolling the LabView window on the second screen since that doesn't make a FULL SCREEN projection of the image)?
    Hope somebody can help
    Thanks
    TonyMontana

    Tony,
    I am not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do as I never use PowerPoint.
    At NIWeek in 1999 (if I recall correctly) David Moore gave a presentation that used a program he wrote entirely in LV.
    I have a program which runs a slide show on a second monitor (projector). All the controls are on the main screen and the display on the second monitor consists of a simple subVI with a picture indicator sized to fit the projector window. The subVI keeps its front panel open and gets called every time the image updates.
    This is a work in progress and has not yet been used in public.

  • How can I make my project widescreen?

    I just upgraded from iAd Producer 4.2 to 5.0. In 4.2, there was an iTunes Extras project type that provided a wider-screen format than any of the other layout options. In iAd 5.0, this feature is missing.
    Does anyone know a way to create an iAd project in 5.0 that will display widescreen in the same manner that 4.2's iTunes Extras projects did?

    We will actually be showing the project in question as a continuous slideshow using the "Preview in Safari" option on a computer displaying to a widescreen TV, so either is fine provided it offers a widescreen view and the preview option.

  • How can I transfer archived project files created on a PC in PE 3, to an iMac and open them in PE10?

    I have several years of archived PE projects created in PE2 and 3 on a PC running Vista.  The files are stored on an external disk. I would like to open the archived files using an iMac running Mountain Lion and PE10.  When I tried to open the project files in PE10 on the iMac I got the message:
    "The project is not compatible with current version of Premier Elements".
    Is there a way of translating the project files so that they become compatible?

    ah&ah
    Until proven otherwise, I do not believe there is anyway to transfer a Premiere Elements (any version) project.prel file created in Windows to Premiere Elements (any version) on a Mac computer.
    Where did you get the idea that you could?
    Even if you were dealing with a Windows to Windows transfer, I might expect problems going from those very early versions (Premiere Elements 2 and 3) to Premiere Elements 10. Cannot guarantee that you would not encounter problems even then.
    I will check further to confirm, but that is my understanding on the matter.
    Do you have any Windows computer so that you could export each of those version 2 and 3 projects as a .mov export that you could import into your Premiere Elements 10 Mac project?

  • How do I make a project play automatically

    I have recorded 4 presentations, all with a power point presentation first slide. When doing one of them I found somewhere a setting so that it starts playing automatically, the other 3 need the user to either click on the start button on the toolbar or use the enter key. I have searched and searched to find how I managed to get the one starting automatically but can not now find it - any help from anyone would be much appreciated as I would like them all to start playing automatically.
    Thanks

    Hi again
    Well, it's because you didn't advise up front what version of Captivate you are using. As you seemed to be a new user, it would appear I mistakenly assumed you were using version 4.
    You might want to review the link below:
    Click here to read
    As for auto starting, if you are using Captivate 3 or older, it should already be playing automagickally. This would infer you have a Button, Click Box or Text Entry Box object on the first slide. Any of those objects will typically pause the playback until they are dealt with.
