How do I make a Split-Screen, Restaurant Digital Sign?

I want to design a restaurant digital menu sign, divided in four sections. 3 are static one is animation and fly in pictures. How do I do this? Domino's pizza has the same type of sign. What program do I design the static frames in? How do I set the screen size to fill the entire monitor? Once I get to this point do I go to flash Catalst and import the static screens? And then bring in the pictures and animation into the forth screen? For now I just want to play it on a stand-alone system inside the restaurant. Thanks

yes, you can do this in Catalyst. The images can be created in any image program (Illustrator, Fireworks, Photoshop), and brought into Catalyst. I would recommend you read my blog post about resizing vs. scaling (http://chrisgriffith.wordpress.com/2011/06/22/understanding-resizing-and-scaling-in-flash- catalyst/)
You can probably prototype this quite easily in Catalyst, but I would recommend looking at Adobe Edge as a better solution for the long term.

How do you disable the split screen / multi-window feature.

I have had my phone for 2 days, and I can not figure out how to turn off the split screen/multi-window feature. It pops up automatically at the worst times and it is getting very frustrating. I have read many things on how to use it, but have yet to find any thing that explains of to disable it.

Well, it doesn't seem that there is a way. But I solved my
problem because my minimal player was Flash 7,0,29,0 and reset the
minimal player to 7,0,0,0.

Hi Machindra,
I also faced the same kind of problem previously. Actually there is no container which can contain normal dynpro screens / subscreens / ui elements.
However you can still implement the same kind of scenario.
As you said you want to have splitted area - left area should have tree control and right area should have subscreen.
What you can do is make use of docking container (class CL_GUI_DOCKING_CONTAINER) like -
1. Create your normal dynpro screen with a subscreen area as you wanted.
2. In a PBO module write code for creating tree control in docking container, like -
DATA: <docking container object> TYPE REF TO CL_GUI_DOCKING_CONTAINER,
      <ALV grid object>          TYPE REF TO CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.
CREATE OBJECT <docking container object>
              EXPORTING repid     = repid
                        dynnr     = dynnr
                        side      = docking->dock_at_left
                        extension = 180.
CREATE OBJECT <ALV grid object>
       EXPORTING I_PARENT = <docking container object>.
CALL METHOD <ALV grid object>->SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY

How to do a locked split-screen between two different video tracks

I'm creating two time-lapse videos and then I'm planning to to play them side-by-side in one sequence.
The way I was planning to do this was to scoot one video track over using the "center" tool in the motion panel, and then crop it on its right-hand edge to reveal the other video track beneath.
The problem with doing this however is that, as the camera gets bumped or moved slightly as the months go on, and I then have to cut and reposition the "center" location for the clip, I have to then adjust the amount of crop on that video clip since I've moved its position. This means the center split-screen location keeps changing as I move the video around.
Is there a way where I can just lock the split screen smack in the middle of the frame as I tinker with each side of the frame (video track) independently? I tried adding a split-screen transition in the very beginning to the top track, but I can't make cuts on a transition to then adjust the motion attributes.
Any ideas on how to simplify this process would really be appreciated. Originally, I thought there was no easier way to do this, but I was so blown away by all the answers to my motion effects question today (and all the things I never knew about FCP) that I thought it wouldn't hurt to see if someone out there had one more ace up their sleeve. If not, I'll assume this is one of those things that can't be simplified anymore than what I'm doing.

Though David's Motion Tracking suggestion would eliminate alot of later finagling, you could try something similar to Reink's, without using Photoshop.
Try this...
1. In a seperate timeline, drop a Matte/Color Solid into the new timeline (using dropdown at bottom right of Viewer window).
2. Dbl-click the color solid, click on Controls tab and set Parameters as H/0, S/0, B/100. Then click the Motion tab/Crop Right-50.
3. Click the Viewer's Video tab and go to Export/QTConversion/Still Image (png) and name it something like WhiteMatte_CropR50.
4. Import that into your project.
5. Now with your two timelapse clips on V1 and V2 with in/out points at head/tails and both tracks highlighted...'Nest' the sequence...Main Menu/Sequence/Nest Item(s).
6. Next, with the nested sequence active (single clip will look light purple)...option-double click on it and and drop an Image Mask Filter on it, then drag the WhiteMatte.png clip into the 'image well' (little box that has a question mark in it). Keep the channel on Luminance.
7. Now, if you dbl-click the nest, it will open it's host sequence, that you can do your 'Motion Tab/Centering' on, without affecting the 50% split down the middle.
May seem like alot of work, but it's not really.

This is difficult to answer without more specifics. How are you publishing to the web? And which screen reader are you targeting? In general you can get data out of a Numbers table quite easily in csv format (either comma-separated or tab-separated). With some work in AppleScript you could export it as a table with html markup. Presumably from there you have tools to convert and publish.

How can I make a Splitting in Cost center accounting by Cost elements?

Hi experts:
I have defined a splitting structure and I would like to split the cost bettew fixed and variables cost.
To to that I have defined two different assignments and in the selection for each assignment I have completed the "Field label" with:
In the first assigment I would like to have only the "fixed cost" and I did the next:
1. Cost element (I have entered a Group) the cost which is in this cost element group is 4.000.0000 euros
2.- Activity type (I have entered a Individual value)
In the second assignment I did the same but with a different Cost element group (the original amount was 6.000.000 euros
The problem is that when I have executed the transaction to do the split, the system split the 50% of the total cost (10.000.000 euros) to each assignment.
How can I make if I want that the system split the cost based only in the "cost element group" which are defined one of them for the "Fixed cost" and the another one for "Variable cost"??
Are there any method which can split a total Cost for a Cost center based only in the cost amount for a cost element group??

I have doubts, I've seen a lot of people saying that u can't center a container with aboslute position.
Then you should remove those people from your circle of trust. Of course it's possible.
Make the container relatively positioned, and centering with an explicit width and auto left/right margins. The inner absolutely positioned elements will center along with their positioned ancestor.
