How do I make a text layer 3D in ps cc?

How do I make a text layer 3D in ps cc?
I know that you are able to do it on ps cs6 but I don't understand how to use the 3D features on ps cc.

Bummer.  There ways to make 3D effects with 2D tools, like Free Transform Step & Repeat, or just try Google.  Plugins like Alien Skin — Eye Candy 7 do Extrusion plus more effects than you can shake a very big stick at, and it is surprisingly affordable nowadays.

    How do I make multiple text bold, for example scene headings or character names?

    You can do that by editing the template of the document.
    Open the document, go to Edit->Template. A dialog will launch which will have element types on the left and it's properties on the right.
    Select Scene Heading(or Character name) on the left. On the right, go to 'Text' tab and click on Bold checkbox.
    Press OK.
    Hope this helps.

    tip #1 :
    --{code}
    --[SCRIPT write_vertically]
    Enregistrer le script en tant que Script : write_vertically.scpt
    déplacer le fichier ainsi créé dans le dossier
    <VolumeDeDémarrage>:Utilisateurs:<votreCompte>:Bibliothèque:Scripts:Applications :Numbers:
    Il vous faudra peut-être créer le dossier Numbers et peut-être même le dossier Applications.
    Saisir dans une cellule le mot à écrire verticalement puis le sélectionner.
    ATTENTION, il ne faut pas sélectionner la cellule mais le mot qui doit apparaitre surligné.
    Aller au menu Scripts , choisir Numbers puis choisir “write_vertically”
    Le script colle dans la cellule le mot apès avoir inséré un return entre tous les caractères.
    Pour mon usage personnel j'associe un raccourci à ce script grace à FastScripts.

    I upgraded but the problem remains. At least with Firefox I do have the option to print a selection even if it mangles the top and bottom lines. With Safari or Chrome I have no option to print a selection. At the moment the only way to get a complete copy of the selection is to copy to openoffice etc and print from there.

    How do I make the text in iTunes a lot larger?

    I use an old iTunes. Check if there is something in iTunes preferences, but I doubt there is.  You may have to simply use something such as Universal Access preferences to zoom your whole screen.  I do recall coming across a reference for a hack to edit iTunes fonts in the application itself but if you enlarge the font as opposed to simply tweaking it slightly with a very similar one you are likely to really mess up iTunes display since the rest of the application won't have been designed with scaled up fonts in mind.
    I can also personally recommend reading glasses.

  • How do I make a text stretch like this?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYI9tK3o2YY
    Heroes word stretches at first. How do I make that? I've glowed it like there, and blurred out like that. But I can't figure out how to strech it.
    Also, how do I create those red circles around "O" at 6th second, tutorial would be nice. I'm fairly new to this program.

    I can't see what you've posted due to network restrictions where I work, but the text stretch sounds like stuff you could accomplish by a combination of animating the scale and some of the distort effects (like Bezier Warp, Corner Pin, Mesh Distort, etc.)
    Red circles might be particles, shape layer(s), or Radio Waves depending on how it looks (again, I can't see it).
    If you're new to AE, I highly recommend you start here first: [link] Go through all of the resources that page links to. It will get you up to speed on the basics of AE which will remove a lot of the frustration a newcomer can experience.

  • How can I make "grunge text" ?

    Using PS cs5 extended with win 7 pro.  I've been trying to figure out how to make grunge (sp?) text.  I figured  I would need to make some type of layer with lines on it, put it above the text and then use a clipping mask.  I don't know how to make the background layer with the lines.  Any  with this type of text would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    John Rich

    John,
    Nice to see you here!
    When "creating" Text with "character," there are many, many methods, and sometimes the background, or the use, will dictate one method vs another.
    I usually go into the process with the idea in my mind, and use many of the variations outlined above. As I am less often trying to replicate an example, but instead, create something from the recesses of my brain. As you found out, the results can differ, depending on aspects, such as pixel x pixel Image Size/resolution. It's also great to have as many methods, as possible, to work with, as sometimes, a combo of techniques can yield vastly different results. Same for a bunch of Textures.
    I often start with an older plug-in for Text, from the PhotoFX folk, and then go from there.
    Also, creating Text as a Selection (like back in the olden days of PS), and then working from there, can be very, very useful.
    Take care, and glad that the folk here got you what you wanted - they ARE good!
    See 'ya,
    Hunt

  • How can I make a text box in Aperture transparent??

    Hello,
    After a great trip to Thailand I want to make a book of all my pictures using Aperture 3. At some places in the book I use a title to indicate what will be shown on the image. This title is made by the text box and it is put on the image itself. Now what I would like is to make is a transparent bar of the text box, so that I still can see the details of the image through this bar and also read the text about the image easily.
    I have no problems making this text box and putting it in the right place, the thing that I don't understand, after two nights of trying, is how to make this text box transparent.
    Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

    Perhaps I need to reformulate what I exactly want to do...!
    I would like to use transparent text boxes but not as transparent as the image itself. I want to show the text box as a real bar but slightly different than the original image colour. So something between a normal image and a white bar so that it will be a bit transparent but also shown as a real bar..
    I think the text boxes of each theme are identical, so yes you are right about the transparent text boxes of art collection but they are the same as photo essay.
    Do you understand what I mean?

  • How can I make the text crisper and less blurry on my MacBook Pro?

    I just purchased my first MacBook Pro, and I absolutely love it, save for one potential deal breaker: The text displays blurry. Instead of stark, black on white text, there is a slight halo of grey (or whatever color the font is in) around every character. It makes the text look nice, but much harder to read. The characters are deliberately out of focus. Apparently this is normal, according to this article: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/businesstechnology/2015823073_ptmrsh06.htm l
    Is there a way to fix (or work around) this? As a writer, I cannot type for eight hours a day on a computer that "softens" the text. I have tried adjusting my screen resolution (it's at the highest possible) and turning off "font-smoothing" (it's off). Nothing works. I called Apple support and they couldn't help me either. I can't believe there's not an easy fix for this.

    Humor me.
    Let's revisit the things you did, because they -should- have fixed the problems.
    !) to set screen resolution, you MUST use:
    System Preferences > Displays ...
    Use of the MenuBar item simply shows the last three chosen, not all available.
    And what is the screen resolution you are using now? 13" 15" or 17" display? Do you have the default glossy screen or the enhanced matte display?
    2) font smoothing.
    System Preferences > Appearance.
    I see no OFF. I see a checkbox to default to LCD smoothing, and I see   "turn off font smoothing for characters smaller than nn point", where nn is 4 to 12.
    How do you have these set?

  • Acrobat Forms -- how do i make a text field opaque when typing

    I'm new to the Forms formatting, so bear with me. I'm trying to create a fillable form which has rules to fill in by hand. How can I create a text field box that will cover the rules behind it if someone chooses to type the info instead of handwriting. I found a script that almost works:
    if (event.value.toString().length > 0) {
    event.target.fillColor = color.white ;
    } else {
    event.target.fillColor = color.transparent ;
    The only problem with this is that the rules show while typing on top of them. The box turns opaque when a new entry is made in another field. Anyway to make the box opaque while they're typing ?

    Here's a link to a demo that I believe behaves as you want: https://workspaces.acrobat.com/?d=AG6oZ3bi3DYHokxDPeWN7A
    It is controlled by several scripts, so study them to see how it works.
