Ok I want to have a human task that when submitted has to be approved by a Reviewer and a Manager.
If the Reviewer rejects the task, its truly rejected, but if the manager Rejects the task its sent back to the Reviewer for additonal work.
The built-in management chain operator doesn't support the reject path I've mentioned above. What's the best way to do what I'm trying to do?

That all depends on the drivers for that mouse. If it doesn't come with OS X drivers then you're stuck with the built-in OS X generic mouse preference pane or a third party driver.
Give USB Overdrive a try. It might let you do what you want.

I wanted to create a single playlist with hundreds of hours of books and podcasts for my grandmother who is blind. Then I planned to use something like the app CarTunes which basically makes the touch screen simply a gigantic pause/play button for an already created playlist. This is perfect for a blind person. Well, good news and bad news. I found out how to tell iTunes that all my music videos are, in fact, actual "music videos" and categorize them as such. In the "Get Info" screen for a track, there is a dropdown selector where you can pick the "meta" type, such as "Music Video", "Home Video", "Movie", "TV Show", etc. This allows iTunes and iOS to think they are all music videos and play them in the same list.
Unfortunately, this is not compatable with my third party device, which is now refusing to play my music videos in a playlist and will only play them one at a time (in a single-track infinite loop no less). Very frustrating!

I suppose the problem is that each application uses separate class loader.

You didn't specify which version of the application server you are using, but the config is similar as long as you know what to look for. Basically, you need to change the classloader delegation. Here's how it is done in 8.2

I've only seen this particular function in the Mac / desktop version of iWork. As far as I know, images / media are not resized by placeholders, only masked. Once placed, the images can be double-clicked / double-tapped and then scaled to the appropriate size within the mask.

How can I make OSX index a network share for spotlight?
I am using a QNAP NAS with SMB network shares, which I mount with OS X Mavericks. They are not searchable, as far as I know because of the indexing of network share is by default not activated.
To force the OS to index them I activated this via mdutils. But this is no solutions. This makes spotlight to index the share once. But I want spotlight to index it always and keep it up to date. I have a huge amount of documents & fotographs, which is very difficult to manage without being searchable.
Unfortunately the only solution I found in the www was the mdutils-way, which seems not to work, maybe only works not for me.
I would appreciate any assistance,

I have used the mdutil /Volumes/name -i on, and it seems to work.
But, if I understand it correctly, it is a one-time indexing -- the index is NOT keep up-to-date with changes.
So, how can we keep the index up-to-date?
My thought was to schedule a Terminal file to execute each night with the mdutil code.
Would this work? If so, how would you setup a scheduled run?
Would it have to be done on each Mac that accesses the Share?

In Windows XP it was very easy to use the File Manger to associate the file type .jpg and action edit with Photoshop.    No so easy in Windows 7. It is easy to change the default OPEN application, but I would like to leave Windows Viewer as the default OPEN application and have Photoshop as the EDIT applicaiton.

Before I posted the original question here, I had probably spent a couple of hours trying to research it.   I hate to find no answer for something I know can be done.   So I spent some more time and found the following in the bowels of a Tech Forum that is generally way over my head. I have modified it to be Photoshop specific.
These instructions will update the default EDIT action for image types - jpg,png,gif and the variations.     If you are unfamiliar with editing the program registry you probably will want to back up your registry or take a system backup.
1. Open up the registry editor (Regedit.exe).
You will need to be signed on as a Windows user that is an administrator
2. Find HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT -> SystemFileAssociations -> image -> shell -> edit -> command
This seems like it would be easy but it is not, because there are many key names that are very close (like System.FilesAssociations).   Keep looking because you will find it eventually.
3. Double click on "Default" (on right window pane) and update the program location.
You should see that MSPAINT.EXE is the current program.
Erase the existing value and enter you photoshop location in quotes followed by %1 in quotes. For me this is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Photoshop.exe" "%1"
Hit return.
4. Exit Regit and test.

It's best to never move iTunes media around in Finder. Add it to the Library through the iTunes interface by dragging them into the window. Once they've been added to the library, you can try using Get Info on the files in iTunes and change the tag info to make them group together. (A unique album name should do this.) If you want them to be included with TV Shows, you can try using Get Info to set the Kind to TV Show (found under the Options tab in Get Info), but I'm not sure if it will work. Otherwise, you could make a playlist and drag them into to access them all in one convenient spot.
If you add the items as noted above and they still do not appear in your library, it's probably because they are not a compatible format.

Open Acrobat manually and go to Edit - Preferences - General. Click the "Select Default PDF Handler" button and then select Acrobat from the list and click on OK. The next time you open a PDF it will be opened in Acrobat automatically.

How do i make it look at the firewall as the DHCP server. If i plug into an access port, it will automatically look at the firewall for DHCP, but not on wireless...

There should be no difference between connecting via an AP and access port. Double-check your ip helper-address, but if access ports work then that should be fine.
Can you post your AP config? We should make sure there's nothing misconfigured on that. Please also post your switchport config.
