How do I make an app-tab if "pin as app tab" does not appear when i contol-click an existing tab?

When I control-click my existing tabs to create an app tab nothing giving me the option to create an app tab appears. It only says "reload tabs," "new tab," "new bookmark," and other general menu options. I want to know how to create an app tab if this is happening or if there is something I am not doing that I should be in order for it to work.

You can't make App Tabs in Firefox 3.6.x versions.<br />
You need to update to the latest Firefox 5.0.1 version to get App tabs.

I understand that you are having issues with your music displaying correctly. This may be an issues with the metadata stored within that song, and iTunes interpretation of that info.

Hi jcatx2013, we don't really have enough information on your system to make specific suggestions...
Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)
Any difference?

Add new tab button does not appear at the right of the previous tab

Just upgraded to Firefox 4 and the plus sign (T) for a new tab does not appear on the right of the previous tab as it had in earlier versions. I thought it was there briefly after I upgraded but it's not there anymore. How do I get it back? I did download the extension "new tab at the end" but that didn't help....

That button should be available by default. However, if you use tab related Add-ons it may not show up as expected. You can add it back by right clicking on the navigation bar, clicking Customize, then drag the New Tab icon to the right end of tab bar.
If that doesn't work, please try starting Firefox in Safemode to see if add-ons are indeed interfering.

SWF does not appear when returning to browser tab

I got an odd bug report on a web app we are developing.
The swf appears fine for the most part, but is the user has multiple browser tabs open, moves to a differnt tab and then returns to the tab with the swf, the swf does not appear until the mouse scrolls over the swf.
At first glance it would look like the swf is not being redrawn until the user intereacts with it (we are doing a good amount of mosue polling). It it as if to save memory the browser stops displaying the image, and does not redeisplay until we explicitly redraw the stage.
Has anyone run into a similar situyation? I am not sure where to start with this.
Some potentially relevant apsects of the swf:
Most of the objects on the stage have chachAsBitmap set to true and we are applying a gradient mask to most of the stage, so there is a good amount of processing going on and I know thishas caused some other redraw oddities.
The frame rate is set to a very slow 4fps, and movie is controlled from a timmer.
Any leads would be appreciated.
The tester reporting this was using Chrome 9.0.597.107 and Flash player 11.3.300.26

Reading the documentation, it says the frame rate drops typically to between 2 and 8 fps. If I am running at 4 fps, with the swf still throttle down and back up? Hopefully the client will let me up the minimum player version to 11.2

I received no error message. The application was just trying to find applications unsuccessfully.
I am using MAC OS 10.10.1
I tried to uninstall the application but it seems that a kind of deamon is still installed thus providing me to reinstall properly. Do you know where are the elements to remove in order to get my machine just like before ?
Otherwise I would have to reinstall everything and this would be a pain.

When I turn on, it asks for language choice, then it asks for 1080i, then it asks for network choices. I choose my network, then it asks for my network password. I enter the password, then it say it does not connect to network, and if I hit menu on remote, it goes back to network selection. I can not get to main menu to see my setting for the network, because there is no menu.

This is an issue with one of your add-ons, Mr Tech Toolkit, it is a known problem but I know of no fix, though there are some workarounds.
In the Mr Tech Toolkit options, on the "Manager Hacks > Behaviour" section, you will have "Select Window Target" set to "New Tab". A workaround is to change it to "New Window"
Another workaround is to use a bookmark to open the add-ons manager in a tab. Create a bookmark with the following location:
chrome://mozapps/content/extensions/extensions.xul

Since the IOS7 is installed i cant delete apps. 1/I hold the app till it wiggles but the cross does not appear; 2/ i could not delete it through i-tunes; 3/ i tried resetting the ipad-settings/general/reset/all then i get a restrictions password request?

Is this a bug related to IOS 7 - I just installed the latest update also with no effect.

It appears that you have restrictions turned on in settings that prohibit app deletion. Is your iPad a personal possession or does it below to the company you work for?

I just got SAM working on my iMac running Lion.
Use Pacifist to force an install of JavaForMacOSX10.6Update5.pkg (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1360) then install the JavaForMacOSX10.7.dmg (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1421) on top of that. Copy the Safari 5.0.5 from a SL machine or use Pacifist to extract the app.
Still does not run under 5.1 but at least I have a working solution. Let me know if anyone needs help.

Why does the "Move to new window" function that I used to use not work when I right click on the tab anymore?

It used to be when I right clicked on the tab in Firefox that I could use the "Move to new window" option. Now when I go down to that option it looks as though it is going to work, but nothing happens. The other day I changed a few options in Firefox, but I don't remember changing anything that sounded as though it would have this effect and now I can't find any options that seem to fix it.
