How do I make box/vbox/hbox look like panel

I want to have my box,vbox and hbox show the drop shadow and
color that the panel uses as default. Can I simply apply some halo
style to the box?

I don't mean to sound silly, but why not just use a Panel?
You can set the layout of a panel to be vertical or
horizontal, so it can essentially act as a vbox or hbox. In fact,
vbox/hbox are designed to use when you
want a layout element to not show.

The BlackBerry 8800 smartphone has 4.2 or 4.5 software as the latest. BlackBerry 5, 6 or 7 device software is not available for that model.

How do I make a flash card look like a normal disk to an application?

I have an application that works differently when reading data from a flash card compared to when it reads data from a hard drive. Does anyone know what would tip the application off as to what type of device the file system is mounted on, and if there is a way to make the mount look like a normal drive?
I have already tried making /Volumes visible, and locating the file system through that path from the application. It still assumed the filesystem was on a flash card, and not on a hard disk.
Any ideas?

How is the flashcard file system formatted?
Is it:
FAT?
FAT32?
exFAT?
HFS+ Journaled (aka Mac OS Extended Journaled)?
Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility can tell you how the file system on the Flashcard is formatted.
Can you explain how the application treats the flashcard differently? That might give us a clue.
And do you need to be able to take the Flashcard to a Windows (or other non-Mac systems, which can limit the kind of file system you can use on the Flashcard).

How do I make my error source look like standard LabVIEW codes?

I have my error codes stored in an *-error.txt file. I'd like to format the error source so it looks like a typical LV error source. I've tried using an error code to error cluster and then either a simple or general error handler and I only get the error code, but the message has all the stuff I need. I don't want to wire the message to the source, because that's not how LV error codes are normally displayed. Am I making sense? LV 7.1.

How do i make a jpeg flag look likes its waving

i have a jpeg of a specific flag that i am trying to make it a loop. whats does it take to make the jpeg look like its waving in the wind? The only thing i have successfully done is put a ripple dissolve across the whole thing and it looks like... well, i put a ripple effect on the flag. any advice?

Library > Filters > Distortion Filters > Wave is the one you want if working in Motion. From the User manual:
Wave
Distorts the object to simulate waves oscillating across it. The wave filter is not automatically animated, but you can animate the Offset parameter to animate the effect of waves causing the image to undulate.
Parameters in the Inspector
Amplitude: Sets the amplitude of the waves. Values range from 0 to 100.
Wavelength: Sets the length of the waves. Values range from 1 to 100.
Offset: Sets the offset of the wave, with values ranging from –500 to 500.
Vertical: Toggles whether the waves run vertically or horizontally.
Repeat Edges: Toggles whether or not the edges of the object are repeated.
Dashboard controls
The Dashboard contains the Amplitude, Wavelength, Offset, and Vertical controls.

It could be as simple as clipping an image of the fabric of your choice, to a text layer.

Actually there is more than just the one extension that AVG might install, reinstall AVG Free without the Link Scanner component as mentioned in the above link and always refuse additional baggage offered during an install -- AVG Free does not ask in the free version it just includes it and there are no options once installed in the Free version for components..
Also make sure you don't have the "Ask Toolbar" or other toolbars you did not ask for. see the same link above for Toolbar problems.

Click on the Hot Corners.. button and look at the four definitions. In the picture below, if you moved the cursor to the right top of the screen, it would slide all the applications off the screen as you describe and show the desktop. Set it to "-" to deactivate.

You DID move them to trash? (we can discuss WHY once we cure you)...
Can you open a window in finder and get to applications and then to utilities? Is MAIL in there?
And your "office email account"-- do you mean physical office, like place of work and you want that account in your mac mail on your computer? ~OR~ do you mean, microsoft office,mail account?

The photos actually are not present twice on the phone when you do what you did. The photos appear once and then in the folder there is simply a cross reference to the photos in the photo stream
