How Do I Make DVD Play Continuously?

I created a DVD

iDVD doesn't have that capability.  Is each element a movie clip or are some slideshows from stills created in iDVD?
If it's the former and you have enought playing time available you can create a slideshow
and add each movie clip to it so all would play continuously.
If this is a possibility don't select any music, select a slide duration to anything except Fit to Audio and do not select any transition.

  • 6 movies - how do I make them play continuously as 1 movie?

    Hi,
I've got 6 small movies which I want to play on a DVD, but I'd like them to play continuously - one after the other - is this possible on iDVD?
Also, I'd like them to be able to select individual videos too.
    Any suggestions?

I have linked several iMovie Projects into one seamless movie as follows... Once each "project" is complete in every detail, choose "Share" on the Menu. then click "Export Movie", select desired size and "Desktop" as destination for export. Do this with each project. Open the 1st project using "Quick Time Player" (I have Pro). Open 2nd "Project" also. Select "Edit" from Menu then click on "Select All". Select "Edit" from Menu then click "Copy". Close second project. On first project window, move slider at bottom as far to the right as you can. Select "Edit" from Menu and then click "Paste". Second movie project will be added to the end of the first. Do this will all projects until they are all linked as one movie. Select "File" from Menu and then click "Save As" (Whatever name). I usually save to desktop as a "Self-Contained Move". You can then drag it into your iDVD movie location. Hope that helps.

  • Itues 11. How do you make Podcasts play continuously. Right now they stop after each selection

In iTunes 11 my podcasts stop after each selection. How do I play them continuosly as I was able to in iTunes 10?

I second this motion of shenannigans.
Upon updating to iTunes 11 I was unpleasantly surprised by the fact that my podcast smartlists no longer played continuously.
    So,
Dear Apple, perhaps you want to fix the section on your website describing how to use a smartlist for continuity of podcast play, because it is not working as described http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/.
and yes, I too would like to know what's going on and how to fix it.

  • HT1689 How do I make songs play automatically in sequence on iPad?

How do I make songs play automatically on iPad?

Other than starting play from the songs list - As far as I know, unless you create a playlist for all of the music that you want to play without stopping, there is no way to play songs continuously in the Music App on the iPad.
If you start play with a song in the songs list, then I believe all of the songs will play one after the other. If you mean though, starting with one album or artist and then moving on the the next album or artist, you have to create a playlist for that.

Does it not play at all or cannot you get the audio in the timeline?
Did you copy the entire card to the hdd and then imported the file via the Media Browser?
Did you source patch the audio tracks?

  • Without Encore ... how do I make DVD's with menu etc.?  AMEPresetProber

I'm having all kinds of Encore problems and Adobe doesn't support it anymore.  This one is an error 'scc\AMEPresetProber' and I can't even open a new or existing project without Encore crashing.
I don't want to sign up for Adobe Cloud as my other CS5 programs are all working fine and don't want to pay Adober for life with a cloud version.
My question is...Without Adobe Encore, how do we make DVD's now?  Microsoft Movie Maker??

1st - provide details so someone can help with your current Encore... if you are Mac, did you recently upgrade to 10.9 Mavericks?
I do NOT use these, so have NO idea if they will do what you need

    Hello,
You can get from Microsoft, the flip4mac free player. Since Windows Media Player for Mac is no longer supported, this is the way to go.
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.mspx
In my opinion, it is by far the best solution for playing .avi or .wmv files, because you get all the advantages of Quicktime.

  • How do I make a "play all" in a sub menu folder?

I am arciving my homevideos onto dvds. and I make sub menues of each day of recorded movies. but as default I will have to play all the files in the sub menufolder manually.
How can I apply a "play all" to these sub menu folders?
or is there an other way to make them all play one after the other?

How can I apply a "play all" to these sub menu folders? How can I apply a "play all" to these sub menu folders?
Possible with DVDSP (part of apple's FCS 2) as well as with a third party app called Roxio Toast but not iDvd'08 (in terms of sub menus) .... But there is a work around in that the slideshow area/s which are mainly intended for stills now address movies too since apple incorporated this into iDvd with its latest version.
or is there an other way to make them all play one after the other?
Suggestion: use the slideshow feature in iDvd'08. It now can address photos as well as movies and the added benefit is that it will scale both to the TV Safe area. Much cleaner this way IMO.

  • How do I make DVD movies?

How can I get iDVD or a similar program to make DVDs?  I recently purchased a MacBook Pro and I have been slideshows in iMovie.  Now I want to burn the show on a DVD, but I cannot seem to find iDVD in the App Store.  Is there another program out there that I should purchase instead?

Apple discontinued iDVD (and iWeb) over a year ago.  In order to get iDVD with all it's themes you'll need to purchase a copy of the iLife 09 disk from an online retailer like Amazon.com: ilife 09: Software or eBay.com.  Why iLife 09 and not 11?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides  themes from iDVD 5-7.  The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes when starting from the iLIfe 11 disk nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:
This shows the iDVD contents in the iLife 09 disc via Pacifist:
You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.

  • How do I make DVD with clips from 2 different iMovie files?

For some reason, my movie clips got imported into 2 different files. And now I can't make a DVD using clips from both. Should I reimport the movies? And if so, how can I make sure they all get imported into the same file?
    Thanks!

I apologize, but I am still unsure of what you mean...
"When I open iMovie, at the top of the screen, it says: iMovie: 4-22-2005. But there is also another file with another date."
There is another file where? What kind of file? Is this a clip you are talking about or another project? Another file within the project? On the clip shelf? A completely separate project folder?
"How do I ensure that it just goes into the same file/folder?"
When you open a project and then import clips they all go into the same folder of that project by default and by design. iMovie is not designed to allow you to import some stuff here and some stuff there. When you create a project, a folder system is setup and in that main project folder is a media folder. All your work files (video footage, audio files, etc.) get put into that folder and no others.

  • How can I make dvd from imovie..

Hi I recently wrote this question in another topic but
it seems that it is better to re-question in a new thread..
I am using imovie for some years but to make dvd, I use Toast 6 not i dvd, because mine doesn't burn dvd.
So far I needed to make a DVD of only a short movie (15 minutes) so what I did was:
import the finished movie to quicktime (as high quality DV movie format) and then
    burn DVD in Toast.
And with that format, 15-minute-short movie ended up 4 GB.
Now I need to make a dvd of a longer film (50 minutes) and if I want to
make DVD with this way, in order to make a quicktime mpeg4 format it takes 270 minutes..
I have always had difficulties to understand the right format for DVD; I know that I have to make mpeg2 (right?) for DVD, but in i movie, if I cann't use idvd, what should I do??
I hope that anyone can help me with this, maybe silly, question..
    wishing all a good day,
    minobu

    ciao minobu,
    Canada still asleep… , Germany on duty…
In Toast (as in iDVD) you have two options: burning a dvd or produce an image of a dvd...
    a) ... is simple: finally you get your disk (physical)
    b) ... the whole computing process of making a movie into the file system of a video-dvd happens, BUT it end not in using the burner, but storing the "image" (=files and data structure) of the dvd.
your Mac is able to "mount" such an image; after that you see a disc symbol on your desktop! (as you would have inset a real dvd....). you can "open" that virtaul sic with Apple's dvdplayer to check, wether it looks like you wished. and you can have look about its size… finally, you can force Toast to "transfer" that image onto a real dvd-r…
as said, that could be done with iDVD5/part of iLife05 too........
probably it is not on your iBook, because the installers checks, wether a burner is installed/your iBookG3 doesn't fullfill the minimum specs... even with Toast producing a DVDs on a iBook G3 is a very long time consuming process...

  • PLZ HELP.. How can i make dvd from FCP project..

    Can someone plz help..
I have FCPPRHD and DVD Pro..
I got lost trying to make a dvd out of fcp project
Can someone plz help in easy 123.. steps how to make a dvd for my client to view..
    Thnx ever so much
    awaitng ur reply

I don't want to sound too harsh, but you really need to read the manual and do the tutorials.
You shoot, capture and edit in FCP. You export that to MPEG2 using compressor and you import the resulting video and audio files into DVDSP. You add a menu and set up buttons to get to the footage, and you set up navigation so that your client can get back to the menu at any time. You build and format that (i.e. burn the disc).
That's the process, but it is very much more detailed than any of us could write here.... it's all in the manual and tutorials
