How do I make Firefox the browser but not make it the default browser?

I want to use Firefox as the browser on some sites but not all. I don't want to make either Firefox or Internet Explorer as a default browser but use each on certaion web sites such as Google or MSN.

For your choice of default browser, think about the one you want to handle links in other programs, such as word processors, Adobe Reader, or an external email program. Windows will use your default browser to open those links.
Then when you want to visit a site in a preferred browser, open that browser and use its bookmarks or favorites to get there.

You can't import media from one Home Sharing library to another by any other means except selecting the individual items you want to import. For example, you can't select a playlist and then click on the 'Import' button to import all the items in that playlist. You have to select all the items in the playlist before you can click on the 'Import' button. By extension, the playlist on the other Home Sharing computer will not be re-created on your computer. You can select more than one item using the 'Shift' or 'Command' keys.
What you can do is create a playlist on your computer first, with the same name if you want, and then use drag and drop to copy the media from the remote playlist to your playlist. Note that the playlist on your computer cannot be a 'Smart' playlist it must be a regular playlist for drag and drop copying to work.
Regarding 'Smart' playlists. If you create a 'Smart' playlist on your computer that uses the exact same filtres as the ones on the remote library when you import the media from the remote library they will show up in the same 'Smart' playlist on your computer.

I'm thinking I can convert the files with Compressor and place them in a new folder with their original file names (not sure how to get compressor to do this yet) and then do a major "Reconnect Clip" afterwards.
Not sure if there's a more efficient way to get all the clips in the timeline to compressor. I want the full files, not a sequence export. I can go through one clip and a time and add the master file. I'd rather not.
The more automated processes the better.

yeah Media reconnect can be an issue.
Will Media Manager convert files? Another thing I was thinking was to Media Manage the sequence out, copying all the used files to a new folder, and then running that through compressor. But it still leads to a massive reconnect. Fine tuning all those edits would be less involved than re-editing the whole thing, I hope.

Data is in the repository, but not showing on the EPM workspace

Hi All,
Recently we have migrated from Hyperion8.5 to Hyperion11.1.1. Migration went on well no errors, after migration I see some folders missing and when I queried on the repositories all the folder data and reports are there in the repository but not showing up in the EPM workspace. It is weird. Did any one encountered this type of error. Is there any work around to this.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Check BI+ security in shared services. Set someone to BI+ Administrator and have them look in Workspace for the reports. In Workspace, check the Permissions of each folder.

I want to download Firefox, but NOT have it as default browser, and not affect other users on the computer - is this possible?

I want to install Firefox, and be able to use it on demand, whilst retaining Internet Explorer as default browser. Will I be able to use either browser as and when I wish?

I have SharePoint 2013 deployed and RMS integration enabled. and am willing to install Office Web Apps. I want to enable users to view documents in the browser only but not be able to download them to their desktops. This would mean there is no "save
as" button in the browser-based viewer and no ability to download the documents to the desktop to be used with the desktop Office apps (word, Excel, etc.).
I understand that I need RMS and Office Web Apps to do this. Could someone please confirm if I'm able to accomplish the goal above and, if so, how I do it?

When you enable OWA. you can read the file online and edit it
The only way to allow users to read but not edit or print a file would be to implement Windows Rights Management. You can read about that here:

It won't be doable with SharePoint permissions only as, even with read only, the documents is still downloaded to the client cache to read and as such can still be retrieved from there.

How can I record a microphone and software instrument at the same time in Garageband 10.0.1? It seems I can record one or the other, but not both at the same time?

I am trying to record a vocal mic and a keyboard (using a software instrument) at the same time using Garageband 10.0.1. It seems that I can't record the mic input and the software instrument at the same time. I can record the mic input by itself, and I can record the software instrument by itself (if I don't have a mic input track created), but I can't record them together.
It seems like this should be an obvious thing to be able to do, but I can't figure out how to make it work.
Can someone help?

You can use confirmation control in PO for tracking
1. OMGZ to Configure Confirmation control.
Here you can specify the order in which you expect confirmations from your vendors.
2. MK02 - to assign Confirmation Control to Vendor in Purchasing View.
3. To view acknowledgments that have been received,
in PO choose Item --> Confirmations --> Overview

Format a number with a decimal to show the value but not the decimal point

I have a value of 129.50 in the DB. I'm using the htp.prn() function to export this value to a txt file. I have the field padded with leading 0s (so it looks like 0000129.50)
I need to keep the value for the .50 but don't want the decimal point to show up (so I need it to look like 000012950) but can't figure out how to make it keep the value for the .50 but not actually show the decimal point - any ideas? (APEX 4.0 11g)

Webutil - works in the form but not in the forms menu

Dbs: 11.2.0.2
I have some code which calls webutil to do an AS to client file transfer.
This works fine when called from a button in the form.
If I have a menu on this form, and perform the same code to call webutil I get an error:
oracle.forms.webutil.fileTransfer.FileTransfer bean not found WEBUTIL_FILE_TRANSFER.getMaxTransfer will not work
So the same code will work when in the body of the form but not when in the menu.
The forms has opened up and instantiated all of its objects at both times I try to run it. But it fails from the menu code call.
Any thoughts on why one works and the other doesn't gratefull received.

We also had the problem.
solution:
We have created a wrapper-form with in the webutil functionality has been implemented (with a dummy-Item).
In the form we have created a When-Timer-Expired trigger and implemented the Filetransfer functionality. Then Exit_Form.
This wrapper-form was then called from the menu.
