How do I make my Navigation menu drop-downs work, LIVE?

I've tested my entire site in my Browser (Safari) and my drop-down menus all work flawlessly. However, when I upload my site and go LIVE they no longer work. The menus were implemented on a B-Master page. I also uploaded my generated Scripts and .css folders as part of the site. I was wondering if the error was caused by a "css" problem since that seems to be the only info uploaded regarding the B-master page that I can think of. Thank you in advance for your time. Confused...

Have you published the site to a third party webhost? If yes, did you use the built in FTP upload feature or a FTP client? Did you try re-uploading all files in order to make sure you didn't miss any static assets?
If you have made sure of all of the above, a site URL would be helpful in identifying the issue.

How do I delete web site addresses that appear in the navigation window drop-down menu?

In Explorer you can quickly delete any web address in the navigation window drop-down list. Also, only addresses that I actually type into the navigation window appear in the drop-down. I like this system.
But in Firefox, I cannot discern the rules at work. Web addresses appear and disappear in the drop-down list seemingly at random, and no way to delete addresses.

Selecting "Never Remember History" will make you enter [[Private Browsing]] mode, so be careful with selecting that.

Top Navigation Bar drop down menu's do not work

Top Navigation Bar drop down menu's do not work. It is only happening on a couple of my site collections and is affecting on the main page of those collections. There is only one web part on the main page, it is the Picture Library Slideshow web part. When
I remove that web part, the menu's come back and work with no problem. I re-add the web part and the menu's stop working. Not finding any error's in the server logs, there are no visual error's thrown. Any advice on what might be happening? I've checked
the Java update on our computers and it has the latest version. Open to any advice at this point.

Could you please provide a screenshot about the issue, also may detecte the problematic elements by using IE browser developer tool (keyboard F12)?

How do I get the Back Button drop down menu back?

When surfing in a tab there used to be a drop down menu next to the forward and back buttons. It was a little tiny triangle looking arrow. This was really useful and needed. It is gone in Firefox 4 as far as I can see. I am using the default 4.0 Theme. If it is not there anymore I will have to go going back to 3.16 if the drop down menu is gone. Thanks for any help.

I do prefer Right-click on tab for tab history, or hold a couple of seconds, as the drop-down marker takes up space and had been removing it myself. Although I think it should have been an option.

In Mail go to the Window Menu and select Previous Recipients. Deleting entries from there won't delete them from your Address Book.

Can I hide the menu drop downs on my layout pages? They interfere with laying out text and images.

Make sure that you not run Firefox in [[Private Browsing]] mode.
In Private Browsing mode some menu items are disabled (grayed) and some features like visited links and others are disabled and not working.
You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing".

I do not know of any such option. I don't think that it is even possible at this time, however it doesn't mean that maybe sometime in the future Apple or someone else will make a way to do such as your request.

Your photos are never "in" the catalog. The catalog just points to your images in their folders on your hard drive. Do you understand what smart previews are and how they are supposed to be used? Are your images on an external hard drive that is disconnected from your computer?

All the menu drop-downs just flicker when I press them.

All the menu drop-downs (File, Edit, View, etc.) don't display and hold when I press any of them. They flicker on but immediately the content disappears and all that's seen is a ghost outline of the drop-down box. This happens with the major menu items as well as all of the sub-menu items.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
