How do I make one iPad match another?

I just spent two hours with Kid 1's iPad. I organized all the 100 apps into various different "folders", organizing educational games from non educational, separating out my apps (when i can get my hand on the iPad!) from his, (he's 4) and putting mine into their own organized folders. I decreased the app pages from 10 down to 4, used iTunes to install and uninstall various apps, Kid 1's iPad looks GREAT! Now i need kid 2s iPad to look EXACTLY THE SAME. It is not new. They both have been using their iPads for some time now. Kid 2's iPad has some apps installed that Kid 1's didn't, and vice versa (although usually the cloud downloads new stuff to both iPads automatically these days...)
anyhow, is this possible?

     The best way I can describe what I am looking for is to say that I am working on a project that once you click the button at the begining it plays a movieclip and has a few different scenes throughout the project. So what I need is when you click the button the first mc plays and when the first mc is done it triggers a second one to play without needing to hit a button. Putting all together I now came up with two issues. The original one with the trigger and now the button decided to stop working after it worked fine.

If you selected open a new Apple ID account, go back a step and enter use existing Apple ID.
You will have to set up a separate iCloud account or your iPads will mirror each other.

Hi everyone! When I purchased an iPad Air, I gave my old iPad 3 to a family member who kept one of my games and its progress, but changed every other App to suit his requirements. My iPad Air has all MY Apps, which are different to the ones on the iPad 3. Both iPads use my Apple account.
I want to somehow transfer the progress of just the one game from the iPad 3 to the iPad Air and I don't want to back up my iPad Air to be the same as his iPad 3, which I know will transfer the progress of the game, but it will also mean I will get a load of Apps I don't want and more importantly, lose all my Apps and the progress in all my games.
i.e. can I transfer one game and its progress from one iPad to another without altering/deleting/removing existing Apps on either iPad.
Phew ... hope the above makes some sort of sense to someone!!!

The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
and the iTunes Match services.
(I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
and
iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.

You don't transfer Apple ID's from one device to another one. You sign out in the settings, )the App Store and iTunes if necessary) and then sign in with the other ID.
Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID>Sign out. Them sign in with the other ID. You can sign out of the app store and iTunes as well by going to the featured Atab in the App Store and the music tab in iTunes, swipe to the bottom and access the Apple ID in there.
You should have erased the iOad before you gave it to her in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings. That way she could set up the iPad as new with her own Apple ID.
Be aware of the fact that if you use each others ID's in order to download past purchased content to your own iPads, you will lock yourself out of your own ID as you will have associated your iPad with the other person's Apple ID.
In other words, if you sign into your wife's ID on your iPad so that you can download an app or an album so that you don't have to pay for it again, you will lock yourself out of your Apple ID for 90 days.

Depends on how big the file is. If itis only a couple of pages, or mostly text, the easiest way would be to e mail it. If it is a very large file you are going to need wifi. Take both pads to starbucks, and e mail it from there. Or if you have wifi, use drop box, for example.
Your other choice, avoiding wifi would be a bluetooth type transfer. There is an app call bluetooth file lite that reads like it will do what you need. The good news is it is free. The bad news is that it has terrible ratings. For grins, i am installing it now on a pad and a phone, and will see if it works.
With a bluetooth method, you need both devices in the same place. If you are trying to send your file across country, bluetooth will not work for you. you need e mail or drop box type solution, and if the file is big, you will almost certainly need wifi.

The school I work in has 37 iPads split between 2 mobile carts. For a variety of reasons, the staff wands the iPads divided up by classroom. No problem. The problem is that they would like the paid apps on the ipads moved around so the grade level apps wind up in the appropriate classrooms. This is logical.
My problem is I have no real idea how to free up iPads from one iPad so that they are available for transfer to another ipad. I use Apple Configurator to acquire paid apps from the Volume Purchasing Program and download/install them initially to iPads.
One knowledgeable individual gave me this advice:
"If you placed the apps on the ipad using Apple Configurator, then you should be able to attach the initial iPad to AC, unsupervise the iPad, and the apps' licences should be available for redistribution. Then connect iPad #2 to AC, turn Supervision on in AC, then add the specific app to iPad #2."
- - - - That sounded too good to be true. I tried it and found out that that process does not free up app licences (at lest when I tried it). What I think is the problem is that I don't know Apple products and iOS well enough and missed steps. (I am from the Netware/Microsoft AD/Windows computing environment.)
Could someone help an old grunt out and possibly provide a detailled set of steps how to transfer paid app licences from one iPad to another? I appreciate any help. Thanks
