How do i make the apple website my home page?

My Homepage for safari now just comes up with a searchpage and a letter in the search engine. It looks ugly, its annoying, and i want to be able to open my safari into the apple page. Please help!

Homepage is the page your browser opens up with. Open the page you want, then go to your browser preferences for Homepage and pick current page as Homepage.
I would suggest you try the iCal forum if that it what you are using.

Option-shft-K will get you the Apple logo in many, but not all, fonts.
To find a font with a heart glyph use Character Viewer.
Topher Kessler provides a how-to in this CNET article. He even uses "heart" in his search example.

Here's how to change your Safari homepage:
Safari 6 (OS X Mountain Lion): Select your homepage

Open Safari if it is not already open.
Choose Safari > Preferences, and then click General.
Do one of the following:
To use the page in the current Safari window or tab, click “Set to Current Page.”
To use another page, type its address in the Homepage field.
To use a blank page, delete the contents of the Homepage field so that the field is blank.You can also choose Empty Page from the “New windows open with” and “New tabs open with” pop-up menus.
To make the homepage appear whenever you open a new Safari window or tab, choose Homepage from the “New windows open with” and “New tabs open with” pop-up menus.

I have a generation 3 Ipad and it fully died so I put it to charge. It's been flickering on and off between the apple symbol my home page for 2 seconds and the screen going back to black with the loading symbol. What should I do?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. How Can I Change the Size of My Home Page So That It Fills the Screen?

I have a PowerBook G4. Up until a couple of weeks ago when I opened Safari the home page filled the screen. Something has happened and now it fills only a portion of the screen. I can move the page around, change the size slightly by using the green button next to the minimizing button, but nothing I do will enlarge it to fill the screen. I have gone to View and Preferences, but find nothing to resolve this. Please help!

How do you get the Apple website to recognize a new pc tower?

My account was started in December 2012 and I bought a new Dell tower in February. I wanted to buy music yesterday and found that I could buy it but not download to my ipod because Apple did not recognize my pc. I removed the information on the old pc and now cannot get this pc recognized. There is no button on the Account information page to do this. How do I get it done?

How do you make the top margin .5" on page 1 and 1.0" on all of the following pages?

I have been a PC user since 1987 and find the iWorks programs far less intuitive than the MS Office products. I have been using a Word doc template, which I customized back in 1990, and all of my client records use this template. So, as I am converting to Apple, I need to find a way to adapt the iWorks Pages to accomodate my doc needs, if that is possible. As indicated in the question, I need to set the top margin on page 1 to .5" and, using either a section break or a page break, enable the top margin to be 1.0" on all of the following pages. I read somewhere on the net that this might be accomplished by using a layout break but, when I tried that, the margins on all pages seemed to still be connected to each other. Is there a way to accomplish my objective?

Okay, narrow is narrow. Just need to make sure we're clear on the point that we're discussing the top and bottom margins.
I just found another post that led me to "Defining Layout Margins" in the Pages help files. Between that post and the information in this help message (specifically item #4), I was able to deduce that Pages does enable me to do exactly what I need.
1 - set the page margins on page one;
2 - create a layout break at the bottom of page 1, which will effect the next page;
3 - with the cursor on page 2, open the inspector;
4 - go to the layout inspector;
5 - change the "before" margin.
In the layout inspector dialog box, "before" = "top" and "after" = "bottom", not as in paragraph or line formatting. I don't know why it couldn't just say top and bottom. That would eliminate a lot of confusion.
This has enabled me to have one top margin on the first page and a different top margin on all other pages. However, as nothing is perfect, this process must be repeated on each page. A little more work but definitely worth the effort, if you need this type of formatting. Better than not at all in other words.

How can I make my Apple TV more reliable? It takes a day to download a HD movie on a T1 to play later, but when I try to play the movies, Apple TV can't, and says try again later. Doesn't the day download time put the HD movie on the Apple TV device?

How can I make my Apple TV work? I downloaded two movies, to play later, on April 4, 2014. I tried to watch them this evening only to get a message they are not available and to try later. How long can it take Apple to download the movies? I encourage anyone thinking about buying an Apple TV to get a different media player that is reliable. Apple TV is not worth the money, nor the time it takes to download movies, nor the effort trying to get your money back when Apple TV fails,and it failsl oftern.. Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)
