How do i make tools open by defalt?

I want to open a pdf and have tools open at the same time.

You need to create your own default template. Open the blank template & set up your document with the line spacing, margins, headers, etc. as you'd like. Redefine all of the paragraph & character styles to have your desired font. You can set default wrap for any object as well as many other settings. Insert a table, click in it & choose the font, size, color, etc. you want in the fonts panel or format bar. You can do similar changes to inserted objects & text boxes. While you're at it resize the box if you want, set the amount of extra space in the wrap inspector, etc. Delete each text box, object & table after you've set them.
Now, save this document as a template & select that template as default in preferences. If you decide to make any changes to the template down the road, just Save As Template again with the same name & replace the previous version. All of your new documents will have these settings for inserted objects, images & tables. Unfortunately, the settings won't apply to any other templates or "foreign" documents you open with Pages.

    Firefox 4 and later versions save the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.<br />
    Use "File > Exit" or "Firefox > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox") if you want to restore multiple windows.<br />
    You can use "History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.<br />
    You may need to click the orange/gray Firefox button to see History.<br />
    There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.
    Another possibility is to use:

  • How do i make links open in a new tab

    Hi There,
    Can someone please tell me how to get iWeb to set pages to open on a new tab when links are clicked.
    Like when someone is viewing my website, I want the links in that website to open in a new tab within the web-browser when someone clicks on them. I know I can make links open in a New window but how do I make them open in a new tab.
    Thanks a bunch
    Jason

    There is no HTML command to open windows in tabs.
    Only these commands are available :
    target="_blank"
    target="_top"
    target="_new"
    Opening a new page in a tab is decided by the browser preferences.
    In Safari : Preferences > Tabs

  • How do I make pages open a template on launch?

    I just switched from Office Mac to pages because I got a retina macbook, and Office looked all blurry.
    Anyway, I made a perfect template for myself and set it to the default, but still when I open pages, it opens the finder window that lets you choose a document. How to I make it open a new document using my template when I launch it?
    Thanks!

    Pages ’09 v4.3 on OS X 10.8.5.
    Pages > Preferences > General : Use template : Choose...
    Pick the Template you want, close Preferences. The next time you launch Pages, it will default to the specified Template.

    We just updated to Windows 7. Question: tool bar is very small, how do I make tools larger? Top bar is also very small, about a 4pt size.

    Did you also get a monitor with higher resolution?
    The UI size is not adjustable in ID (more's the pity), and I can't think of anything about the OS that would affect the size. Monitor size and resolution, on the other hand, will definitely affect how big ID's UI elements are displayed.

  • How do I make PDFs OPEN and fit my screen?

    Every time I open a PDF, the document opens larger than my screen. How do I make the document fit the screen I have?
    This is absolutely NOT a zoom problem.
    I have a 15 inch laptop. It has a screen that is about 12 inches wide x 7.5 inches high.
    I open a PDF, and the document opens on my screen so that the entire document is more like 13 inches wide, and 10 inches high. The top menu bar, where I would grab to move, change zoom, enlarge, or, for that matter, CLOSE the document is like 2-2.5 inches OFF the TOP of my screen.
    I can change zoom - it only changes the size of the contents in the window, never the actual window size, and the problem is the window size.
    So the question is, why does PDF even open a window larger than my screen supports, and how do I stop it.
    This is not new - this should by now be a known serious flaw with Adobe Reader and Acrobat and regularly happens with PDFs, and has for years. If I have a second monitor, I can drag the side of the window over onto my second monitor, and then shrink it. But, if I  am traveling, so without my second monitor, it effectively means the only thing I can do with any PDF is right click on the bottom menu bar and "Close all windows"
    Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.

    Try clicking the arrows top right  corner of your Safari window or Control + Command + F on your keyboard.

  • How do I make hyperlinks open in new window?

    Hi, I'm using Acrobat X Pro.  I have a pdf uploaded to a website, and within that pdf are two hyperlinks to other websites.  Currently, if I click on the links, they open in the same window.  How do I make the hyperlinks open in a new window by default? In Acrobat X Pro, I tried editing the hyperlinks by right-clicking them and selecting properties, but I don't see an option to specify how the link should open.  Is this option available for web links?

    I think the best you can do is use the app.launchURL JavaScript method and specify that you want to open in a new window:
    // Script for link action
    app.launchURL({cURL: "http://www.example.com", bNewFrame: true});
    For this method's documentation, see: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.150.html

  • How do you make the open window as big as the screen?

    When I open a window in safari it does not take up the whole screen. I have tried to maximize yet I still see the desktop in the background. How can I make the current window take up the whole screen?

    On the Mac, 'maximize' (the green button in the title bar) is +context sensitive+ - it expands the window based on the content of the window. If the content is not screen-filling, the window won't get any bigger than necessary. There's no 'global' solution to this for OS X, but for Safari in particular, the Saft plugin has an option for full-screen browsing.

  • How do I make Firefox open to one of my saved tabs?

    I pretty much always have a few select tabs open. Is it possible to make Firefox open to a certain tab whenever I open it? I know it will open to the tab that you were on when you last closed Firefox, but it is not always on my mind to navigate to that tab that I want opened whenever I close it.

    Thanks, but that did not help: I know how to change the homepage of your browser.
    I want Firefox to navigate to a certain tab whenever I launch Firefox. There is an option regarding homepages that makes it so it shows your homepage on launch, but this makes it unable to save your tabs and windows

  • How do I make safari open with blank page but keep resume?

    Since Lion, Safari always opens with the last opened website.
    I don't want that! How can I make sure that Safari opens
    with a full and BLANK screen ???
    Specifically I do NOT want to uncheck resume function for ALL
    applications. I want to FORCE Safari to open a specific website,
    or a blank page - REGARDLESS if resume is on or off !!!
    My computer doesn't do what I want!
    Is this a ALPHA version???

    Here you go:
    Go to terminal and type in the following:
    defaults write com.apple.Safari ApplePersistenceIgnoreState YES
    If you decide that you rather have the new resume behavior, execute the above commands but change YES to NO
    You can also do the same for Preview:
    defaults write com.apple.Preview ApplePersistenceIgnoreState YES
