How Do I Make Updated Procedure in the Program Unit of the Form to Work?
I have updated a procedure in the Program Unit of the Form that I modified. I am not sure what are the proper ways to compile or load the changed procedure in my form to make sure the changes work. Please help me with the following questions:
Do I have to use Oracle Procedure Builder to compile the updated procedure in order to have the form work properly? If so, how do I make the list of procedures in the program unit of my form to come up after I have the Oracle Procedure Builder opened and connected to our database?
Couldn't I just compile the form after the changes are made to the procedure (Body) in the Program Unit of the form in the Forms Builder?
Any thoughts and/or suggestions on this are welcome.
FYI, we are in Oracle Forms 6.i with Oracle database version 10.2.0.2.

There was no errors what so ever, no triggers and other module errors, when I compiled and created an executable for my form.
If the database is not connected, Forms Builder would not allow me to compile/execute any forms so I am pretty sure that the database was connected when I did 'CTRL' + 't' to create an executable.

A procedure has two parts:

The procedure spec begins with the keyword PROCEDURE and ends with the procedure name or a parameter list. Parameter declarations are optional. Procedures that take no parameters are written without parentheses. For example, the specification of procedure proc1 is displayed below:

The procedure body begins with the keyword IS and ends with the keyword END followed by an optional procedure name. The procedure body has three parts: a declarative part, an executable part, and an optional exception-handling part.
and all of other procedures, that do not have an '*' next to the procedure name in the Program Units of my form, contain both Spec and Body.
p.s. I remember the '*' next to the procedure name means the procedure has been changed, and ... (sorry, I don't remember the rest...)

You can set up a button with a "Submit a form" action and use a mailto type URL to specify the email address you want the forms sent do. If you want to send the entire PDF, select that option and not FDF or anything else. The mailto URL should not include any spaces and the "mailto" part should be lowercase, like:

pshultzIt's best to never move iTunes media around in Finder. Add it to the Library through the iTunes interface by dragging them into the window. Once they've been added to the library, you can try using Get Info on the files in iTunes and change the tag info to make them group together. (A unique album name should do this.) If you want them to be included with TV Shows, you can try using Get Info to set the Kind to TV Show (found under the Options tab in Get Info), but I'm not sure if it will work. Otherwise, you could make a playlist and drag them into to access them all in one convenient spot.
If you add the items as noted above and they still do not appear in your library, it's probably because they are not a compatible format.

How can I make different catalogs from the same image where that image has been changed in some way between the catalogs. For instance if I wanted to have a catalogs for cropped images and have 3 catalogs one for 4x6 , 5x7 and 8x10 cropping. When I tried this , if I changed a file in one catalog that same image in the other would change also.
Do not confuse the creation of the crops and the display in collections per crop ratio.
Of course one virtual copy (VC) per crop ratio is needed. If the same image should be cropped in all 3 mentioned ratios there would be 3 VCs.
The OP asked how to have/see a set of same-crop-ratios.
After having created the virtual copies for whatever crop ratio he wants, the way to display this result in the fashion asked for is via smart collections, provided they can be found. Without a plugin the naming of the VC with the crop ratio applied is a straight way to achieve that.
IF the wish is to get new crops automatically added. (See my answers 2+3)
IF the wish is to creat static collections per crop ratio for a certain set of images, I'd go as follows:
1. Select all images you want to have cropped in that way,.
2. With this selection click on the + to add another collection and fill the dialog box like this:
Then navigate into this newly created selection and perform the 4x6 crop - according to taste individually or by synchronizing the first crop.

how do I make it so that the one computer that has the main itunes account on it be used on other computers, when it comes to backing up phones and not deleting data off of phone that isnt on that computer itunes becasse its all on the one main computer. option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. It does not happen in Acrobat XI and Acrobat DC .The window comes right in front of everything else .
I wonder that was a bug and that was fixed the other versions.
You could upgrade to the latest Acrobat version ,i.e Acrobat DC and you would not experience this anymore .

I myself think that (for instance) "A tribe called Quest" should be sorted under "A", not "T".
Now I can edit the sort options manually per track and/or per selection, but I would really like to just kill this "iTunes-knows-how-you-should-sort"-feature in iTunes.

ThanksHere is a modified version of one of Doug's Scripts. My modification was to add Sort Name to the list of tags that could be changed. I tried it on a single track and it worked. I recommend backing up your library first. Select the tracks you want to change (or all tracks) and run the script from the Applescript Editor. If it works as intended, save it so you can apply it to newly imported tracks. And, yes, I know this isn't the exact answer to your question, you want to change a preference setting in iTunes (if there is such a setting).

How do you make it so that the ipod will play all the different artists featured in an album when you click that album to play? At the moment, each artist in the album is being separated and I can't play them together. For example, to play the Halo 2 Soundtrack, Hoobastank, Breaking Benjamin, Nile Rodgers, etc. are some of the artists featured. However, in the Albums category, they are each separate choices. I want to play them all together, but can't. Is there a way to do that?
It sounds like the album metadata is incorrect, or differs from song to song in iTunes. Albums with various artists will play properly assuming all the songs are tagged with the same identical album name, as well as the track number. For the Halo 2 Soundtrack, metadata should look like this:
Song: <Song Title>
Artist: <Song Artist>
Album: Halo 2, Vol. 1 (Original Soundtrack)
Genre: Soundtrack
I had a similar problem with my imported Cowboy Bebop albums and the mixture of artists/album names. Once I adjusted the metadata, all of them play in the correct order just by selecting the Album from the available list or in Coverflow. -
How do you make multi cameras look the same?
So I have three cameras used in the shoot. Lighting is from regular track lighting most commonly found in ware shouse type venues. Cameras 1 & 2 are one foot off the ground pointing ever so slightly up. Camera 3 is shooting from 15 feet off the ground pointing down. How do I make them all look the same in post production? When I try to increase the brightness in camera 3 it looks washed out. When I try to dim the brightness in 1 & two it looks dark and shadowy.
Ideally you start with this:
• 3 identical camcorders.
• Manually set the white balance in each camcorder onsite before doing a shoot.
• Make sure the 'program' setting is the same in each camcorder, e.g. they should all be "Auto" or "Spotlight" or "Portrait" etc. - the one you prefer.
• If possible, manually set the exposure in each camera
What probably happened is your camcorders' auto exposure did its job and the cams pointing upward were underexposed because the sensor was affected by the overhead lights.
If your clips' brightness & contrast are reasonably close, start by applying the Color Corrector filter to each clip. Use the Visual control (you will see the button when you apply the filter) and then use the Eye Dropper tool to set the white & black points in each clip. If the cameras weren't too mismatched this may be enough to correct the brightness mismatch. I doubt you will get a perfect match but hopefully close enough that it's acceptable.
