How do i manage apps on my i phone

im playing war 2 victory for Gree app on my iphone 4s, i was told the only way to logout and back in to a different account is to go to app settings and delete the app data and info, but not the app itself... where is app settings or app management...?

Do you have Restrictions enabled on your iPhone at Settings > General > Restrictions and if so, is Installing Apps enabled as a restriction? If yes, you need to turn this off.

You need to subscribe to iTunes Match to store your music on iCloud:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/
To transfer iTunes Store purchases made on your phone to your computer, connect your phone then choose "Transfer purchases..." from the File menu in iTunes.

How do I transfer apps from my old phone (4) to my new iphone (4s)?

    Hi,
If you have synced all your apps onto iTunes then when you sync head to Apps and tick the Sync all apps box.
Failing that you can use a laborious process of going through your apps and re-downloading them for free (using same apple account) onto your new iPhone.
    Hope that helps.
PS. You should've waited for the iPhone 5 to come out!

  • How to install managed apps to iPads silently OTA using Profile Manager

    Here is my setup.
100 to 150 Ipads in carts used by their departments in classrooms.
OSX Mavericks Server running Profile manager
I use Apple Configurator to push a wifi payload to the ipads as well as an auto enrollment profile to connect to Profile Manager.
That part works like a dream.
Now that I have that working. I am having a problem pushing apps to the Ipads. I downloaded some free apps, GDrive for example, using the managed distribution.
But I cannot figure out how to push the apps to the iPads without having the iPads asking for an Apple ID and password.
I just want to push VPP apps to the iPads silently.
    Thanks for any help.

Then you need include the apps when you clone with Configurator.
Managed Distribution of Apps is flexible because it works for the following scenarios:
    Device
         • Device is owned by the company and distributed to the user
         • Device is BYOD and enrolled in corporate MDM
         • Device is BYOD and unmanaged
    User
         • Device is "assigned' or used by a single individual
         • The individual has an Apple ID (or is capable of getting one)
         • The user is entered into your Profile Manager and has an email address (or device is enrolled and you do a push notify to ask for enrollment - remember, Managed Distro works without MDM)
         • User accepts the invitation to your VPP program with an Apple ID of choice - enterprise does not care what it is
    Apps
         • Apps are assigned to the user account in Profile Manager
         • Apps become visible in the Apple ID's App Store account as available for install
         • If the device is set to autoinstall "purchased" apps, the apps for iPad will just appear
         • Apps can be "revoked" by the enterprise, returning the license to the available pool
         • Apps do not dissapear from devices
Managed Distro does not really fit education as depending on age your students may not be able to have an Apple ID, may not have email, and the devices may not be deployed in a one-to-one.
You are back to master image cloning through Configurator.

  • HT1399 How do I manage the music on my phone now?

Managing the music on my phone used to be so easy.  I have a large library and would just click boxes next to the artists I wanted and uncheck the ones I didn't.  And changed frequently.  Now, I can't manage the music on my phone.  I upgraded itunes one day and it hasn't been the same since.  I have tried to figure out how to manage these songs.  Please help me to be able to easily change my music again.  Thanks in advance!

    Incredibly vague.
You've told us lots of stuff, but failed to mention exactly why you can't manage the music on your phone. What can you no longer do?
I continue to tick and untick songs so that they come off or go back onto my iPods, two of them. Could it be that you are missing the Sidebar, which as the Playlists, device (when connected), and Library options - like so?
If not, then what is it you do want?

  • I share an itunes acc with 3 family members, how do i manage apps, contacts etc

Hi.  Please help.  We have 1 itunes account and 3 iphones and an ipod.  1 iphone is new and I need to transfer all contacts, apps, photos, messages etc to the new phone an restore the old one.
I want to ensure that everything I have on my iphone is backed up and transferred to my new one.  I thought simply plugging it in and syncing was enough, but when I look on the apps on iphone it asks if I want to sync to Outlook, Google Contacts, Windows Address Book or Yahoo address book.  I don't know which one to choose, I just thought it all backed up to itunes.
Obviously I'm not very up on all this so any advice would be great.
Also if you have any advice on how to manage multiple devices on 1 itunes acc, ie, keeping apps, contacts etc separate, I'd appreciate your help.
    Thanks

  • How do I consolidate app icons on I-Phone. Forgot how.

How do I consolidate the app icons on my I-Phone.....forgot how.

    Ah.
Well, the only way to do that is to manually move each icon. iOS has no function to automatically sort or move them for you.
You can do it on your iOS device, or on your computer's iTunes.

  • How to get my apps back on my phone

this may be a dumb question so i apologize in advance...i had to update my phone and lost all of my apps (off my phone but still in itunes on computer).  i downloaded the ones i wanted off my computer to the cloud but can't figure out how to get them bacl on my phone.

Have you tried syncing them back in itunes?
You can try this go to the appstore on your phone - update - purchase - all/not on this phone - look and see if your apps are there if they are then select the app that you want by clicking on the cloud next to it.

  • How can I manage contacts in the Q10 phone?

For some reason my Outlook contacts don't show up in the phone. Without this I can't set up speed dial keys (as far as I can tell). And I can't seem to directly add a contact to the phone. Any advice? Thanks.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

go to settings, accounts, choose the account in question, tap on advanced on bottom, do you show server address and port 443 below it and using SSL with PUSH on? if no then you might not be using EAS (Exchange Active Sync). which usually syncs most PIM info like calendar and contacts.
if using port 25,110,587, 465, 995 you are most likely using POP/SMTP and usually require a manual sync of contacts and calendar. Some services allow CalDAV and/or CardDAV connections
if using port 143, 993 you are most likely using IMAP and some services require a CalDAV and/or CardDAV connection to sync content other than emails.
Not all version of exchange sync everything with EAS
