How do I manage multiple macs on my Time Capsule?

I have a 2 TB Time Capsule 4th generation w/ multiple macs backing up to it. I want to be able to manage ALL files on Time Capsule. Is there a way for me to see all the data from all macs on time capsule, and delete those files if necessary? (This has to do with my kids going off to college and me needing to free-up space.)

If you want to delete all Time Machine backups for a particular Mac, just mount the Time Capsule's disk (probably called "Data" unless you renamed it), then drag the appropriate "sparsebundle" file to the trash.

Hmmm it doesn't always work.. but as long as you keep track of it .. I doubt you will have major issues.
A8 on setting Sparsebundle size.
Easy solution.. plug in USB drive into the TC, for one laptop.. and use internal disk for the other.. solved.

I need to backup 3 iMac connected through ethernet network to a Time Capsule.

If you use eithernet for your main connection then just plug the TC bridged into the network.
If you use wireless for your internet connection then you can use the TC isolated from the network by ethernet.. but this is really only convenient on a desktop Mac.

It is a bit tricky so if you have questions ask back here.
Just to say a USB for firewire external drive is faster and more reliable than a TC.. cheaper to buy as well.. although since you already have the TC that is not a concern.. but you can ebay the TC and buy a bigger and better external drive with the proceeds.

After you have done the search, you can swipe downward slightly on the keyboard and it will disappear and you will see "EDIT" in the bottom right corner. Sorry for the lengthy delay to a response. Are you trying to convert multiple files to individual PDF files at the same time? (not combine them). If so, you'll need to use Adobe Acrobat for this function. The CreatePDF service does not have the ability to convert multiple files to multiple individual PDF files.

In technical support, sometimes you have to make educated guesses. I'm sorry that you were offended.
iTunes does prompt when it is going to erase a device, and the message is clear.
She said in her message that she was able to successfully sync the old ipad. This indicated to me that itunes wiping the data was not an issue, because either it had been setup at the apple store (in which case it doesn't actually wipe the ipad despite saying it will*) (*based on a single case I saw), or because the itunes media folder was migrated.
Furthermore, my solution was to tell her how to backup her ipad (by either doing it manually, or as a last resort, by deleting the corrupt backup -- that she couldn't access anyway.)
I got that last part of the instructions from the "Taking Control of your iphone" book which I found samples of when I did a google search for "corrupted backup itunes".
She marked this as a solution, so it worked for her.

Probably the easiest way is to drag the files from the iTunes window to the external drive. Make sure they have copied. Delete them from iTunes. Hold down the option key and drag the copied files back to iTunes. This will add them back but mapped to their new location and the option/alt key will stop the files from being copied to your Media folder on the internal drive.
In future if you are adding a batch of files in one go you can set preferences temporarily to store media on the external drive, then change back again. See also: iTunes 12 for Mac: Change where your iTunes files are stored - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH19507

Bob thanks, but that didn't solve my problem, I went to question 17 and went into the Browse my Time Machine and it also didn't find or recognize the other Mac. I know it's in there because when I open the other Mac and Enter the Time Machine, I can see it through that Mac, and I have the same problem there, where I can't see my Mac.
In short, when I back up a Mac (doesn't matter which one) I can verify its backup as long as I use that Mac, but I cannont verfiy the backup on that Mac using another Mac and vice versa.
Also, I never used to have to do anything to see both on the same Mac. So I don't know what changed.
There must be another way.
