How do I manually install Flash Player on my Android device?

Flash Player for Android is no longer available for download from the Google Play app store, but Android users can still download and install Flash Player from the Archived Flash Player Versions page on the Adobe website.  To do so, please watch this instructional video or follow the steps below:
If you are encountering problems using Flash Player, please click here for an HTML5 version of this video: YouTube HTML5 HD Link
Make sure your Android device is connected to the Internet.
Open the Settings menu.
Select Security (or Applications, on older Android OSs).
Place a checkmark next to the "Unknown sources" check box.
Tap OK to confirm your selection.
Close Settings.
Launch the browser.
Search for "flash player archive page" or navigate directly to http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
On the Archive page, scroll down to "Flash Player for Android archives"
Select a version of Flash Player that is compatible with your Android operating system.
Tap the link to download the Flash Player installer. Download begins automatically.
When download completes, close the browser.
Open Notifications.
Tap "install_flash_player.apk"
When prompted, tap Install.
When installation is finished, tap Done.

Well, it needs one in order to install Flash Player.
Most smart TVs have Chrome OS, which has its own Flash Player built by Adobe, but modified by Google. Nothing can be done with it here.
See: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/alt.tv.tech.hdtv/Sy5SA4mWcX8  for info on how to update it.

  • How Install Adobe Flash Player in any Android Device

How to Manually install Flash Player to any Android Device?  Look for answers below.

Hi I have tested this and every one should know about it and it is very easy to install. Works on Tablets, Phones, Set Top Boxes / TV Box. The trick is the APK file it is the same file format as any app on the play store here is the link right here from Adobe click and down load it from your device or you can download it to you computer and copy it to your device.  http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/11.1.115.81/inst all_flash_player_ics.apk. Now that you have the file here are the instruction to install it please read the rest of it.  Manually install on Android devices   Once you have successfully installed flash it  may work with your native chrome browser with most devices but in some cases mostly phones it does not.
So you will have to down load Mozilla FireFox or Dolphin Browser. FireFox will work right away Dolphin under the setting you need to turn on Flash always on. That's it.
Once  you have it done test it by going to http://askmilton.tv enjoy. Please post a comment about you experience.

  • "Why can't I install Flash Player on my Tablet?" (Kindle or Samsung Galaxy)

Your tablet (Kindle or Galaxy) uses the Android Operating System.
Adobe stopped ALL development of Flash for Android last year. (July 2012) That includes Kindle as well as Samsung Tablets. Additionally, Samsung and Amazon have ended support for Flash in ALL of their newest tablet models.
The following is from Samsung Support (07/31/2013):
"Beginning August 15, 2012 we will use the configuration settings in the Google Play Store to limit continued access to Flash Player updates to only those devices that have Flash Player already installed. Devices that do not have Flash Player already installed are increasingly likely to be incompatible with Flash Player and will no longer be able to install it from the Google Play Store after August 15th, 2012."
    And from Kindle Support (07/31/2013):
"The Amazon Silk web browser on Kindle Fire 1st Generation supports some, but not all, versions of Flash. Adobe Flash is pre-installed on a 1st Generation Kindle Fire and is disabled by default.
If you see a message to install Flash while using your Kindle Fire, this means that the content you're attempting to view uses Flash. If you want to view the content, you'll need to enable Flash through the Silk settings menu.
If a web page suffers from slow performance due to Flash, or you're unable to view a web page with Flash enabled, we recommend switching to mobile view when browsing a Flash-heavy website to see if that solves your problem:
Some popular websites may also have an app available. Check Amazon Appstore, accessible through the Apps library on your Kindle Fire, for availability.
The Amazon Silk web browser on Kindle Fire 2nd Generation, Kindle Fire HD 7", and Kindle Fire HD 8.9" doesn't support Flash.
Some sites use alternative web technologies to Flash in their mobile versions. We recommend switching to mobile view when browsing a website with Flash content to see if that solves your problem:
Some popular websites may also have an app available. Check Amazon Appstore, accessible through the Apps or Games library on your Kindle Fire, for availability."
    See: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
There are older versions of Flash Player (for Android) at that link, but there are no guarantees any of them will work.

    Hello,

  • HTC One. Flash Player not supported by device?

Hi I've just got a HTC One which comes pre loaded with flash player 11. However when I go to use Flash on a website it comes up with either you need to download flash or, plug in not supported? When I check to see if there are any updates there are non. I can't uninstall as it's a system app on the phone. When I check on the applications section of settings it shows the app as 0mb which seems strange but might be due to it being pre loaded? What can I do? Any ideas anyone?
