How do I manually uninstall the CS6 beta?
Prior to seeing or reading the bright red warning of not trashing the beta, it was done.
Now CS6 won't install. Says an earlier version is on the machine.
Which specific files must be uninstalled to allow the CS6 installation?

Maybe you're a neat freak and uninstalled all prior versions before installing CS6, personally I'm a hoarder myself and keep all older versions of Photoshop installed.

I manually uninstalled Photoshop CS6 Beta, and now Photoshop CS6 won't install.
Before I read the FAQ on how to properly uninstall the Photoshop CS6 Beta, I uninstalled it manually (by dragging it into the Trash on Mac OS X), and now when installing the CS6 Master Collection, Photoshop appears with an [!] that says "a conflicting or prerelease version of Photoshop CS6 is present on this computer. This must be removed before the installation can continue." I've tried deleting every file I can find with "Photoshop" in it, but to no prevail. What can I do?

Uninstalling, then re-installing the CS6 beta trial on the same Mac
My inquiry is really simple:
Can anybody authoritatively confirm that it is possible to uninstall the CS6 beta trial, then re-install it on the same Mac and it will continue to work as when you first installed it, before the uninstall.
That's all. Forget about any other version of any other software being installed or not.
This was not possible with previous trial versions, as the trial would expire instantly upon uninstalling it.

I did in fact uninstall the CS6 beta, installed Ps 12.1 ("CS5") upgrade without having a previous version installed, updated ACR to 6.6 then successfully re-installed the CS6 beta. Everything is working fine. -
Attempting to upgrade Firefox from 3.5.6 to 4.0 but it prompts me to Reboot to finish install. Rebooting PC does not resolve the issue. I get this message when attempting to remove via Windows/XP Control Panel "ADD/REMOVE" programs and if I attempt to execute "FIREFOX 4.0 SETUP" program.

How do I manually uninstall FIM Portal and Service 2010
I installed Forefront Identity Manager 2010 as follows:
Server 1: FIM Sync Service
Servers 2, 3: SharePoint Farm, FIM Portal and Service
I've had issues from the installation. When installing FIM Portal and Service on Server 2 it failed to recognize fim sync service on server 1. We had FIM service unavailable errors in most usage scenarios (even though asmx returned service description).
I was able to use RunAs different user to start browser as the service account used to install and run the FIM service, browse to the identity management site using
http://localhost and saw the fim portal. I was never able to see the portal using DNS address or server name from the server 2 or any other computer on the network, or using any other account (although I checked the option to
enable portal access for authenticated users).
I tried to uninstall - this went through all the steps but failed during apply and did a rollback. However, subsequent attempts to change, repair or uninstall all fail with message that the site was not found, please create it...

Save and exit out from Central Administration and try to uninstall now and it should work. It worked for me.

How do I manually uninstall Photoshop 7 Wiindows 7?
I have an old install of Photoshop 7 on my laptop (Windows 7 32-bit) that I am unable to uninstall. I have admin rights, but using the Windows program uninstaller tells me that I don't have sufficient rights to uninstall. The original program CD does not have an uninstall option, nor does attempting to re-install from the CD change my ability to uninstall it. A search of the web and search of Adobe's site have support documents for removing PS Elements and the CS versions of PS, but not version 7, at least that I have been able to find.
I understand the process of manually removing software and removing its entries with RegEdit, I am just looking for a document that lists all the registry entries specific to Photoshop 7. Note: just searching for any "Adobe" or "Photoshop" entries within RegEdit won't work as I have other Adobe software, including a newer versions of Photoshop that I do not want to remove, so I'm looking for a list of all registry keys that are specific to PS7, as well as, the various other folders a PS install creates. Will I be able to install over the CS6 Beta? Also UI language packs.
So now Photoshop CS6 has been announced for release in May. I've setup the CS6 Beta to my prefs and it might be nice to know that I can install the new release over it instead of having to clean uninstall the Beta. Will this be possible or advisable?
Also,since the Interface language can be changed are there any plans to offer language packs without another license purchase? Microsoft Office for instance does sell language packs at a small fee.
Hopefully this would be a viable alternative.

Hello, from the Creative Cloud FAQ, it seems that one can chose the language of the installed programs with Creative Cloud, but I haven't got an answer whether several languages can be installed at the same time.
On the other hand, for the non-cloud version, you do need to pay a full version to get an alternate language. Just got automatically installed the latest 6.22 version of skype few minutes ago and I got a few questions.
First and foremost, how can I MANUALLY change the height of the textbox, where I type the messages. I would like to make it larger, like in the previous versions of skype. I don't want to move my mouse cursor through the entire monitor to reach this tiny textbox.
And second, why you guys are trying constanly to ruin something that is working perfectly ? Going to revert to the previous version until you fix all these nuisances.

The urlclassifier3.sqlite file stores the encrypted contents of the phishing protection database and it is best to leave this file to avoid Firefox having to rebuild it.<br />
You can remove the file if it really gets to large (around 50 MB is not unusual).
The bookmarkbackups folder stores the daily created JSON backups with a maximum of 10.<br />
You can set that maximum in Firefox via the browser.bookmarks.max_backups pref on the about:config page.
It is best to leave the other files in the Firefox Profile Folder (Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\) intact, and use Clear Recent History if you want to remove data, to avoid database corruption.

AS above states the computer seems to run normally as far as turning it on, tabs & pages are fine. But I can't access the system to delete some files.. Which is what the 'error' keeps saying everytime I tr and download a helpful link/app or software.
