As I understand it, the only way to look at, organize or move files in the iCloud drive is to login to iCloud via a browser other than installing a separate specific application that lets me do that. However, I have found that even if I login to the iCloud drive using a browser, I still can't move or delete files while using the mini iPad although I can view the file list and folder list, create file folders, and use files for which I already have an application installed.
How do I get around this so that I can do those things? Do I really have to get a separate application to do that? If so, what's a good one to use?

How to activate a window in FCP while using Livetype

When I am typing some thing in Livetype the FCP video pauses. How can I edit on Livetype and simultaneously keep listening or watching the video in FCP.

FCP must be the active, front most application or it will stop playing.
This will of course prevent you from editing text in LiveType as that will then >be in front.

Photo files disapearing from hard Drive while using Lighroom not relink issue, any ideas?

I've been using Lightroom and while using it files have been disappearing, I understand how to relink the files, it's not that.
The file folders are showing up but the files are missing. Not all files are affected. They haven't been in my trash.
Seagate have sent me a 'What a shame, it's not our fault email' Won't be buying any more of their products. They say it's a lightroom / Mac OS problem.
Does anyone know how I can retreive these missing files? If they've had the same problem? Thank you.

We have created full text search indexes using the default syntax -
CREATE INDEX FTI ON DOCUMENTS(DOC_FILE) INDEXTYPE IS CTXSYS.CONTEXT;
How can I find out whether the INSO filter is used or not. Also a basic question, INSO filter helps in reading and "crawling" some 100+ document formats and creating an index against which search could be executed.... right?

you can specify the inso filter in index code creation.

How do you import while using full screen in iPhoto?

I am running Lion with the latest version of iPhoto, and have been getting used to the full screens. Is there any way to import photos into iPhoto while the full screen function is enabled? I am using an iPhone 4 and a Sony NEX-5, each of which would normally open iPhoto when they were plugged in. Now either nothing happens, and the full screen stays open, or the full screen goes away and I have the menu bar, but it does not default to the import interface. I have image capture set to open iPhoto with each of these cameras. Just a bug? Thanks.

what's the point of this "full screen" mode when one actually loses features of an application?
i think apples full screen mode is close to being the worst implementation of this feature ever.
not to mention that when running two monitors, the second monitor is practically useless.

1. While executing the above code, error -305500 occurs after executing "worksheet := ole2.invoke_obj(worksheets','Select',args)". How can I select the sheet i wanted in the template ??

The error is probably that your Worksheets variable is actually empty. Looking at your code I think the problem is that you try and get the value of the worksheets collection from the application then you should try and get it from the Workbooks object.

How can I keep windows in front while using other apps?

I want to keep a Preview window in front of all windows while I work in photoshop, how can I do that? I know it is possible, because I saw an artist do it on youtube. He had his references opened up in Preview, while working photohsop, and the Preview window some how stays above the Photoshop window. I know I can just have them side by side by using photoshop in window mode, and shtinking it into a half sized window, but I have porblem rotating the canvas and it is just to small to work when it is like that. He mangaed to use phoshop in full window mode (fills the whole screen) and still have his preview window stay in front. I asked him but I got no reply. So I was hoping some here would know.

            I got that Idea too. I created a authorized customer, I created a authorized Object and assigned to a role.But in the role, when I am changing the object to generate profile, it is asking to select list of customers from the customer table.If the customers are always constant then this would work, but in my scenario, customers for the sales rep changes over time and when I ever reps open the query, they should see updated list of customers assigned to them only, as we update the master data everyday from source system and that shud reflect in the value help.
I am trying User Exit to achieve this, but I am not getting proper ideas how to do this.
Any Help on this issue with user exit code???

Importing while digitizing, clips not importing

I am trying to import footage from VHS tapes. I've done this before with FC Express and worked like a charm: I connect the VHS VCR to a DV camera with AV>DV capabilities with standard AV cables, and connect the DV camera to my iMac using firewire. Within FCP X I open the import media window and the DV cam shoes up in the available list. I select that, turn the VCR to play, and the video streams through the DV to my mac and plays in the FCP import window. I click on 'Import', get the usual questions about specs and what event to save it to, and all seems to look and work fine. HOWEVER, when I get out of the import window and go to find the clips I've just imported, they are no where to be found. I've searched my computer for ANY lost or misplaced clips but these from the VHS tapes are no where to be found. What gives?

I understand, but I think FCPX should alert the user to that fact instead of letting the import process continue. I went through a couple hours of VHS tape, starting and stopping, grabbing clips, assuming they were all landing in my Events folder. It wasn't until leaving the import window and attempting to use the clips that I found they were not there, and then spent another half hour trying to find them on my hard drive somewhere. A simple 'Error. Cannot import yadda yadda yadda' would have saved me time and frustration. If you have Apple's ear, or work for them, please pass my suggestion on. Thanks!

How can I connect my iPhone 4 while using IOS 7 that requires a USB 3.0?

I've been trying to connect my iPhone 4 (IOS 7) using a USB 2.0 Cable. I've jumped to the conclusion that I need a USB 3.0 cable to connect to my computer, in order to sync my files and music. I thought about splicing a USB 2.0 cable;31 pin connector that connect's to my iPhone 4, and using the other end of the USB 3.0 cable to connect to my computer.
The only problem is, is that I'm curious if that is a solution that will/would work?
I would love to have someone help me with this problem!

Download the latest itunes into your computer and install it.Do not connect the iphone before intallation.After intalling, connect your iphone with usb 2.0 and wait for the drivers to install in your pc.Open and Click on the iphone bar on the upper right of itunes software and synchronise with your pc and you are ready.
