I have two folders of photos in my photo stream that I want to merge. Does anyone know how to do this please

After my iCloud became full I backed up my photos and I have been searching online for a while for an answer to this question. Here's what I did
On my Windows 7 computer that has iTunes and that I configured to use with the iCloud I went to my pictures and my photo stream and you can use shift click or control click to select multiple, or drag around them, or use keystroke..control a ... To select all, Then push the delete key on the keyboard and it will automatically sync that with the iCloud. Make sure you back up everything first somewhere else, because it will delete from all devices.

I have (and like) using folders as my primary organizational scheme. I also use metadata for scaring up images for various purposes too.
But I name folders so they are ordered how I want them (I use a numerical prefix whose primary purpose is to define ordering).
Granted it can be tricky if you want newest first, since that means you have to "reserve" lower alpha-numbers for "newer" photos.
For example, if first folder of the year is 001, then folders (newest at bottom) might be:
2011
001 asdf
002 qwerty
132 I shoot too much...
2012
001 foo
002 bar
but if you want newest first, I dunno - especially tricky since you may want to add older years as well as newer. Maybe start at 500, and reserve older and newer slots.

500 2012
501 2011
I must say, this seems pretty yucky to me, but it would accomplish your goal.
I'd be inclined to get used to the present ordering, but maybe submit a folder sorting reversal request, like you can do now for images a-z vs. z-a:

I mean, you can use collections instead of folders for organization, but collections have the same problem, if you have a hierarchy - they will be alphabetically ordered (ascending) too.

before you fiddle with it you may want to back up your photos on your PC. This is how to move them from phone to PC.
How to Transfer photos from HTC memory to PC
1) From the phone: select: Menu>settings>connect to pc>as disk
2) Attach phone to pc with usb cable
3) From pc open: Computer>removable disk F>dcim>100media
Note: you can also pull the mini sd card out of you phone and plug that directly into your computer. just make sure to unmount the disk through your settings options before you remove it from the phone.

If you are syncing from a folder on your PC, drag the images you want into a folder on your computer. If you want images to appear in separate photo albums on your device, create folders inside the main folder and drag images into the new folders.
If you are syncing from a photo application on your PC, use it to create albums and then select those albums to sync.

Not sure how I remove a shared photo stream (not the pix themselves) or even unsubscribe from one I accepted.
The good ol' swipe to the left to make a delete button appear apparently doesn't work.

I too am pulling my hair out with this. Online searches have turned up no info and I have tried everything. Merging large camera rolls in photo stream for iCloud merge/backup/share

I've got some pretty large camera rolls on my iPhone, never having realized I wasn't "synching" them to my iPad. Well, I looked at them and saw some large ones, as well as 1.000 photos in my iPhone my photo stream. I'd like iCloud to keep them sync he'd between the two, but can I do that? and once I synch those, had do I synch them with the same iCloud account on my MacBook? That also seems like a problem, although Id ultimately like them there, because the faces, events, etc stuff in iPhoto seems really well done, plus, I've got the largest disk by far in my MacBook compared to the RAM in my iPhone & iPad.

Hi Mike,
Something else you may want to set up. If you have the same iCloud account set up on the Mac and you have Photo Stream turned on in iCloud, then in iPhoto, under Preferences>Photo Stream, you can turn on the option to automatically import your Photo Stream into iPhoto. That way, you have a backup of your Photo Stream that is saved in iPhoto Events every Month:
I have mine set up to do this, and I find it to be a great backup to my regular imports. I leave my Photo Stream imports out there as they are generated in Events (June 2013 Photo Stream, July 2013 Photo Stream, etc.). I also then import my Camera Roll every month or so, and import it into an Album that I label as desired. Photo Stream, of course, only has photos, no videos, so importing your Camera Roll is critical if you take videos.

To remove Albums she added, tap Edit, then you'll see options to delete those albums.

If the pictures are synced to the device from iTunes, the only way to remove them is via iTunes.
Either delete the pictures from the folder selected to sync or stop syncing that folder.
Why are you incapable of doing this or what about it did not work?
If help is desired stop being vague in the responses.
