Well. With Dreamweaver CC, you could use the Sync settings feature to transfer workspaces from one CC machine to the other.
But with CS6 workspaces being transferred to CC there is a not so intuitive way to do it.
Backup/Rename the CC workspace folder [resent at C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC\configuration\workspace to anything you like.
Copy the workspace folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS6\configuration\workspace to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC\configuration\workspace
Now you should have your CS6 workspaces in CC.

Do you have an iPhoto Library from the old machine? If you have then simply open it - there's no importing involved.
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
If you don't have an actual library there is no way to do what you want.

How do I migrate Actions from Old Version to new?

I've been using Photoshop 6.0 for years and have many custom actions that I have created myself. I've now downloaded the trial for photoshop CS2. I want to use the actions I've created in version 6 in CS2. How do I migrate these old actions into CS2? What files do I copy to the CS2 folder from my version 6 folder?
I don't see any difference in the actions files (.atn files) listed in /presets/actions folders. File sizes are the same and I don't see any action group files with the names I saved them in. Where are my custom actions and how do I move these old ones into the new version? My actions were saved in a group called 'My Actions'. I see no .atn file with that name.
This is the only thing I need to figure out. Upgrading to CS2 is a no brainer -- it has many fixes that version 6 needed. But I don't want to recreate the old actions. There's got to be a way to do this. Please tell me what I need to do.

First of all, you should have been using 6.0.1.
You need to save your Actions before you can move them around. Just putting them into a set is not enough. From the Actions palette flyout arrow, choose New Set (or click on the little folder icon at the bottom of the palette), name it and put your custom Actions in it. Then go to the flyout menu and choose Save Actions. Save the Set to any location you wish (Presets Folder is a good place.
That will make an .atn file that you can move or copy anywhere you like. You can load it in the new version from its location (flyout arrow> Load Actions) or put (copy) it in the Photoshop Actions folder in Presets which will let you load it by choosing from the menu.

Why does my Photoshop CC keep losing my actions? The program isn't crashing, but occasionally when I open it or Lightroom, all of my actions and presets that I've loaded are gone.

This is getting so damn frustrating. I hate having to continually load actions into Photoshop CC and presets into Lightroom 5.

I would like the answer to this also. It deleted about 2/3 of mine. I cleared the workspace and started a new one. I fixed my actions back in the order I wanted and uploaded it to CC. Then they disappeared again. Whats going on and how can I fix it?

How do I keep watermarks and presets ( with their order ) synched between computers

I have a desktop which I use for heavy picture editing and a mac book air that I use for on the fly picture editing to show clients during photo trips.
I want to figure out a way for keeping my watermarks and presets ( with their order and folders I created on my desktop ) synched on my laptop.
What is the best way of doing this? If keeping it synched is not possible, how do you advise importing them to my laptop?

How to differentiate migrated assets and newly purchased assets?

I would like to make a report for fixed assets, and that report has a field for beginning balance.
I have a question on this beginning balance field.
As you know, we have migrated fixed assets from legacy system and new assets that are purchased at SAP system.
When I make above report, how do I differentiate migrated assets and newly purchased assets from the beginning balance point of view?
Please let me know the database fields to classify above two things.

The reason we want to have this kind of report is that this one is for tax reporting.
As Ajay mentioned, SAP standard asset reports like S_ALR_87011990 is good but they are not enough.
When I looked around some tables related to fixed asset values, I found out there are 2 fields might be related to above questions.
They are ANLC-KANSW and ANLC-ANSWL.
There is no value at ANLC-KANSW field in SAP cut-over year if it is new asset, and ANLC-ANSWL has no value if it is migrated asset.
I guess if I use above 2 fields, I might be able to classify two things.
Do you guys agree with me?

Being unwilling to mortgage my future to CC, I have taken the plunge and bought CS6 while it is still available. This is on Windows 7.
Is it feasible to migrate settings from CS2 to CS6 and if so how do I do it? I am not sure whether CS6 installation will automatically uninstall CS2 or require me to do it.

Hmmmm… My pedestrian Mac Book has the lowly Intel GMA 950 chipset with a mere 64 MB of VRAM in the form of Shared System Memory. Photoshop 13.0.5 chugs along, minus the advanced graphics capabilities or GPU processing, of course.
Until I acquired the 65-lb Mac Pro, that was my dinky Photoshop CS6 system.
I was happy to be able to run ACR 7.4 on it.

How do I migrate bookmarks and passwords from Ubuntu to OS X.

My Ubuntu computer still boots but its hard disk may be dying. I want to migrate my profile settings from Ubuntu to OS X on my Mac. I copied my Ubuntu profile folder onto a thumb drive. Everything seemed to copy fine except for one symbolic link. I tried to copy the contents over the contents of the Apple Mac's profile folder, but it seems to have had no effect.

When you run Firefox on your Mac, a Firefox profile folder is created with default data and settings. You have to remove the '''contents''' of the new Firefox profile folder on your Mac (e.g., the bookmarkbackups folder, places.sqlite , cookies.sqlite, etc.) and then copy over the '''contents''' of your old Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to the Mac profile folder. You should do this selectively, just copying important files (like places.sqlite for bookmarks and browsing history). [[Recovering important data from an old profile]] lists important files and explains how to transfer the data to the new profile on your Mac. [[Backing up your information]] explains where the old profile data is stored and how to save a copy.

I have maintained configuration which is related to output management in Freight order type (truck load).
Configuration is :

For PPF customizing you can follow SPRO path -> Cross application components ->Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications->Reusable Objects and Functions for BOPF Environment ->PPF Adapter for Output Management->Maintain PPF Settings -> Select the application '/SCMTMS/TRANSPORTATION' -> Define action profiles and Actions.
Select the required action profile (Here in your case /SCMTMS/TOR or /SCMTMS/TOR_PRINT_ROAD)-> select the required action definitions -> Make sure 'Inactive' checkbox is deselected against the required action -> Choose processing types -> Here you can assign a new form. You can also create new action definitions and assign forms accordingly.
Then go back and go to 'Condition configuration' ->Choose the required action profile -> Check the Start condition and schedule condition. Make sure you have 'Schedule automatically' radio button selected under overview tab.
Print preview is also called as Document preview. To my knowledge this tab should be displayed default with standard under Output Management tab. Document preview will appear upon selecting the action in Output management tab. If not appearing just check the WD component customizing or personalization.
