I am concerned about messages sent on my daughters phone.  I need to know how to monitor blackberry messenger.

You can't, on a personal BIS account.

How do I save "Sent" messages when sending from the ipad2?

By default sent items should be saved in your Sent folder. For IMAP type accounts you should be able to change that by selecting the account in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then selecting 'Account' on the popup for it and then 'Advanced' at the bottom of the next popup

    DanaRom,
This is going to be easy! Just log in http://vz.to/1e948q1, click on "Send and Manage Messages from the My Device section that appears when hovering your mouse over "My Verizon" next to "Support" at the top. Please know that iMessages will not show up in our records as they use data instead of texts.

I would be curious, saraho_vzw, is your answer only valid if you have Verizon Messages installed/activated on the iPhone 6?

  • How to remove Gmail "sent message" label

    Hi all,
I am using Lion in one of my Mac and I found one problem
I am using my Gmail account in Lion Mail
When I use Lion Mail to send/reply a mail, Gmail on brower will show a "sent message" label on that mail.
What should I do to prevent it?
I mean I do not want to see the "sent message" label on browser, after I sent a mail using Lion Mail.
    Thank you !!

For anyone who has the same trouble, I foudn a soliution here:
    http://lifehacker.com/5555291/how-make-gmail-play-nicely-with-your-desktop-email -client
    Simply three steps repeated here:
    (1) click on a folder "Sent Mail" under [Gmail] and go to the Mailbox menu in the menu bar. Hover over "Use This Mailbox For" and click Sent. This will make Apple Mail use Gmail's Sent Mail folder for sent messages instead of creating its own.
    (2) A label called "Sent Messages" will show up with your other custom labels.
    (3) Drag all the messages from the "Sent Messages" label to the "Sent Mail" label, to make sure they're all there
    (4) You can then delete the "Sent Messages" label.

  • How/ Where to Monitor XML Messages of  Provider Webservice ?

    Dear SDNers,
I would like to Monitor XML Messages for Provider Webservice.
I would like to tell upfront that SXM_MONI or SXI_MONITOR in ABAP Stack does not show any Messages.
I have used SOAMANAGER which is the normal Transaction related to doing all things with Webservices. Even here i have found anything Messages.
I could only see Success Messages under Webservice Logs(Webservice Logging and Tracing).
Would like to know how/ where to do i monitor XML Messages for a Provider Webservice ?
The Search around several places could not yield much to me about this Mointoring of Webservices.
A lot of documents talk about Service Provision/ Consumption, Registry, WS-RM etc. but nowhere i could encounter about Monitoring of Webservices.
So the normal links to Webservices documents where documents/ links describe about Service Provision/ Consumption, Registry, WS-RM, Protocols, Security, Transports etc. will not be of much HELP to me here.
    Thanks & Regards
    Venugopal

    Hi Nick,
There is no big difference between synchronous interface monitoring and asynchronous interface monitoring.
Just goto SXMB_MONI, click on inbound message, it will automatically displaying one tab with name response message. Click on that response message to view the message content.
In PI7.1 you can see response message and reqquest message in RWB. Open the message by click on that, it will automatically dispay request and response messages
    thanks,

  • How Can I Retain Sent Messages When Re-Doing Email?

i would like to delete an email account and re-add it to fix something but i don't want to lose my sent messages.  i know incoming message will be retained as they stay on the server.  i called bb support and a level one person told me that my sent messages are synced with my mail server and will still be on the server.  uh this is so not true.  maybe it is for IMAP or Outlook but not with POP3.
i would like the retain my sent messages on my phone and not lose them to re-add an email account.  can anyone help?  thanks.

    Hello,
I've been thinking about this, and I don't think there is a simple way at all. With other than POP, sent items do indeed get populated to the server. But POP has much less capability than others, and therefore the server just can't accept the placement of items into it's Sent Items folder within the mailbox. It's a POP limitation.
About the only thing I can think of would be for you to take a backup of your device. Then find a PC-based 3rd party backup file extraction utility and extract those specific items. Then, after you remove and re-add the account, you'd have to find a way to re-import the extracted items back to your BB. I don't know anyone who has tried such a thing, so I really am unsure of any details within this process...so you might have to do some further digging, and there may be no success path at all to be had.
Then again...it's also possible that removing the email account from the device won't actually wipe out the items. They may be retained on the device, but simply not be accessible while the email account is dis-associated. Re-associating the account might re-attach the items and make them visible. This is a theory, mind you...not anything that I've tested.
In any event, with POP there are severe limitations to what can be done. If you really have to preserve those sent items, you should first forward them to yourself so that they become part of your inbox and therefore are on the server (albeit as an inbox item rather than a sent item). Just in case.
    Good luck!

  • How to not show sent messages in inbox

That's my question. Is there any way to not show my own sent messages in my inbox (rather than sent messages). When I send something, it shows up in the sentbox and my own inbox. Any ideas?
    Thanks,

    Would IMAP fix this problem?
yes, it would. but IMAP works very differently from POP so you should understand all the other implications before switching. IMAP keeps everything in sync with the server at all times. so when you delete something in Mail you'll also delete it on the server. and vice versa. it also syncs your other mailboxes like Sent or Draft mailboxes although it's possible to turn that off.

  • How do i remove "sent"messages

I have almost 1500 sent emails in the folder.I probably have emptied it before but have forgotten how.

    Use standard computer selection methods.
    control+a = select all
click message 1 to select it, move up or down several messages and hold the shift key while clicking message 2 = selects messages 1 and 2 and all in between
hold the control key while clicking random messages = select any message clicked on
hold the control key while clicking a selected message = deselect that message
Press the delete key of your choice
Be sure to compact folders after large deletions. Deleting a message just marks it for deletion and hides it. Compacting removes the message and frees up the drive space.

  • How do I save sent messages in Mail?

I can't figure out why when I send a message, it will not store a saved copy in my sent folder.
    Suggestions?

Hello, does the following screen capture answer your question?

  • How do people handle Sent messages accumulating?

I just noticed in General -> Settings -> Usage that my Mail and Attachments take up 725 MB of space. I can't really afford that on my measly 16 GB iPad 2.  I have only a week's worth of email in my Inbox, so this problem may be from my Sent folder as I rarely remember to delete messages from there (bad work habits, I know).  In that Sent folder I have messages going back to March 21, which would make it maybe around 2,000 to 3,000 messages.  I know we don't have a Select All functionality here in mail, and manually selecting every one of the messages in my Sent folder in order to delete them is not exactly a happy thought.  Probably take a few hours to manually select them.
Any thoughts on what I can do?  I guess I could delete the account which would presumably delete all emails in all folders, and then recreate the account from scratch, but that's not a pleasant workaround either.  Any thoughts? It's a POP account.  Thanks.

You can restore your iPad using iTunes on your computer.  Plug your iPad in, let it sync, then choose "Restore".
This will empty all email messages on your iPad.
But this problem will recur unless you get in the habit of cleaning your sent folder periodically.

  • How can I see sent messages and  different account in boxes my iPhone 5 IOS 7?

After upgrading to IOS 7 on my iPhone 5, I can't find the individual mailboxes for my different accounts or the sent files.  Did this change?

You have to ACTIVATE an iDevice after September 1 ,2013. The Shuffle is not an iDevice. You activated your 5 in June, therefore you do not qualify.

  • How do i monitor my daughters text messages?

how do i monitor my daughter's text messages from my i phone?

While that might have seemed to be a rather flip reply, it's in essence the only answer anyone can give. There's no way to monitor SMS or MMS messages your daughter sends from her own iPhone. Only the cell carrier could do that (if the carrier does record the actual content of the message) and I doubt any carrier would give you a log without a court order. You may be able to see how many messages she's sending and the phone number to which the message was sent on your phone bill, but that depends on the carrier.
For messages sent via iMessage, you could sign into Messages using her Apple ID and password. You'd then see all the messages she sends and receives via that service.
    Regards.

  • My ipad mail is synced to my iMac mail account. On iPad, I can only see my inbox and sent messages. I can't see any of the folders I have created on my iMac. How do I do that? Probably a dumb question, but I know there's a lot of smart people out there!

My iPad mail is synced to my private email account, which I organise on my iMac. On iPad, I can only see inbox and sent messages folders, not any of the other folders in my email account I have created on my iMac. How do I get iPad to show my other folders? Probably a dumb question, but I know there's a lot of smart people out there.

If you select a mailbox, you should get an Edit button (easier to see in landscape mode). Clicking the button will provide you with check circles for the messages. You also get Delete and Move buttons at the bottom. Check the messages you want to move and then navigate to the mailbox you want to drop them into. I think as long as you can navigate to a mailbox you can move the messages to it.
In the Mac Mail application and probably Outlook on the Windows side, you also setup rules to move messages to specific mailboxes. If the mailboxes are stored on the server, then you can have the sorting done on the server and they should appear that way on the iPad. If your later messages do not show up, you may need to have the iPad app pulled down more messages until they are all showing.
