How do I move an album, from iCloud to a burn folder

Opened my iTunes and all of my songs have the cloud icon, next to them. I wish to burn them to multiple cds, but cannot figure out how to put them into a burn folder. Nothing happens when I click on the download cloud button.

All you need to do is enable contacts in system preferences > iCloud on your Mac. Once you do this a sync will commence and your contacts application will be populated with your contacts from iCloud.

You can't remove it. All you can do is hide it:

Apple removed the ability to hide purchases directly on the phone, but after hiding in iTunes on your computer, sync your phone & see if it also hides on your phone.

If you want to sync photos from only some albums, events, or faces, enable the option for "Selected albums, events, and faces" and then select the albums you want.

You are correct that photo stream photos result in duplicate photos on your phone - one in my photo stream and one in the camera roll. However, iCloud doesn't back up your photos with photo stream. The photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, allowing enough time for all your devices/computers to download a copy, then they are removed from iCloud (but will stay on your devices/computers). Many people mistaking believe that photo stream photos are kept in iCloud permanently, only to find out when they want to restore them to their device that only photos added in the last 30 days are still available. To permanently keep your photos you should regularly import them to your computer as discussed here: iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer.
I agree that with 16GB most people find that they are always short on available storage. 32GB is a better option for most people. (Apple even increased this with the iPhone 6, offering only 16, 64 and 128GB models.)

Calendars are stored in iCloud, so all you have to do is turn iCloud on in System Preferences on your Mac and enable your iCloud account in Calendar > Preferences.

A similar problem occurs when I want to do a mass delete of emails from a specific sender....

I did all that and nothing happened. As it happens, I did manage to deal with the problem, but in a rather convoluted and tedious manner. I went into Edit, Find, and Search messages, typed in the criteria and the messages I wanted moved came up. However, there was no option to "Select All" so I had to highlight each one and then move the lot to the specific folder....that also worked for the delete problem. That is a workable solution to my problem, but the lack of a "select all" option made it very time consuming. However, I guess it's a notice to me to remember to sort my emails more often.

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

The depending on how many contacts you have, you may have to email them to your self and upload them using drag and drop one at a time. You do this by opening the contact on your phone, tap Share a Contact on bottom right, tap Email, send to your self, drag and drop attachment to icloud.com contacts as before. It shouldn't have any problem importing individual contacts in this way. If you have lots of them, the you may have to consider purchasing 3rd party software such as Touch Copy which can access the contacts on your phone directly, allowing you to drag and drop them as individual vCards to a desktop folder all at once, where in turn you can drag and drop them to icloud.com all at once.
