Hi, I am tryin to move music ffrom Itunes to an SD card. It I try to drag and drop form itunes, nothing will tak. If I do it from finder, still nothing. any sugestions?

I never had this problem, i´d made a backup of my hole libary on a fat hard disk.
try to copy the musik on a folder on desktop, then on sd...

You would have to put all of the music on one computer.

You copy the content of your iTunes Library to the iPhone by connecting to the iPhone to your computer, using the USB lead that came wiht the phone, and allowing iTunes and the iPhone to Sync with one another.
This will leave the content in your iTunes Library. An iPhone (or iPod) is not desinged to be the only location for your music (or other content). The idea is that the iPhone (or iPod) has a copy of the Library.

Couldn't be simpler than that.

That's basically what you do...

Check the box for Sync Music. If the iTunes music library is small and fits completely on the iPod, you can choose to sync Entire music library. Then click Apply. With this setting, everything in the iTunes music library syncs to the iPod. Whenever you make a change to the iTunes library, such as adding new songs, iTunes automatically updates the iPod with the same changes, the next time it is connected (or when you click the Sync button). If this works for you, you don't have to read the rest.
Otherwise, you can choose to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. A convenient way to use this setting is to create a new playlist in your iTunes library. You can call it "iPod Songs," or whartever you want. From the iTunes music library, add the songs you want on the iPod, such as those iTunes Store purchases, to that playlist. Back on the iPod's Music screen, find "iPod Songs" under Playlists, and select (checkmark) it. When you click Apply, the songs from your selection sync to the iPod. I have a iPhone 4S. I have a couple of albums of music that I was to copy from my computer to my phone. I have rebooted both, I have done Edit > Preferences and clicked on Reset warnings and Reset cache. I have then done a File > Devices > Sync "IPhone name".
I still have music on my PC that I want on my IPhone but it's not there.

All I want to do is move songs my daughter purchased with her gift card to the iPod Nano someone gave her. In a normal world, one would login to itunes, connect the ipod to the computer, select the track(s) in the library, and click "move to ipod", but this isn't a normal world. This is appleland where nothing makes sense

Just purchased an album in iTunes on my computer, how do I get it on my iPhone? Normally when I buy music on my iPhone it automatically downloads to my iTunes library on the Mac, but it does not work the other way around. Obviously I want to avoid syncing with my library because I have lots of music on my iPhone that's not on my computer.

Drag selected tracks to the right, a panel slides open on the right containing devices and playlist. Your iPhone shold be listed under devices. To enable automatic downloads for the iphone go to settings/Store and fick the switch for music!

I have new music on my Macbook desktop. I want to move it into iTunes. This was easy with iTunes 10, but it doesn't work with iTunes 11. So how can I manage new music that isn't purchased throught the iTunes store? How can I move music into iTunes?

You may be able to go back with Time Machine but this may involve restoring other items too (https://discussions.apple.com/message/20441404). Alternatively:
Back up your computer first, in case the unexpected happens.
Quit iTunes.
Get iTunes 10.7 from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1576 or the direct download link at: http://appldnld.apple.com/iTunes10/041-7195.20120912.d3uzQ/iTunes10.7.dmg
Do a few preparatory steps by making sure all iTunes components are not running and cleaning old files.   See https://discussions.apple.com/message/20475394. Do steps 3 and 4. Steps 6-8 may be also useful but I don't know if they are essential. Some of the other steps are not necessary, duplicate steps listed later in my post or are perhaps even unhelpful in the process.
Replace the iTunes 11 application with iTunes 10.7. Simply dragging the application to the trash may not work. Lion (OSX 10.7) and newer systems have iTunes integrated into the operating system and deleting is a bit more involved. Two ways to do this are:
1. Use the shareware Pacifist utility (http://www.charlessoft.com/) to install iTunes 10.7 including all associated system files. Details at http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=16400819&postcount=6
2. Check this reference on how to delete the iTunes application itself:

    After deleting the application there may be other files that need downgrading too. See the note about error -42408 at the end of this post. This may include these files in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ which apparently get updated by iTunes 11:

After doing one of the two procedures above you will have to rescue the most recent old iTunes library from your iTunes > Previous Libraries folder. A newer version of iTunes irreversibly updates your library file so you have to replace it with the old one or you will get an error message. Note, this will revert your library to the version at the time of the upgrade and you will have to update any changes made since. See:
