How do I move my very first album off of the organization screen?
I am NEW to Photoshop Elements 8. I am computer literate, but this has me stumped. I read the book several times, and watched some of the tutorial videos and didn't get any help there. I made a 51 picture album "Mimi". It is on the organization screen. Seems like there should be a place to put your albums out of the way while you are working on other albums or projects. I want to begin another album. Over on the right side where the + is to start an album, when I click on it, the drop downs all have to do with "tags" Also, all the little icons that were down at the bottom of that screen popped up to under the + album screen.

Yes getting the right adjustments does take a bit of experimenting. I always find the levels adjustment often works best on an overall picture.
Try this:
With a photo open in the editor press Ctr+L and this will bring up the levels dialogue with histogram.
Moving the middle pointer under the histogram slightly to the right or left will often produce a pleasing result.

This is our resident iPhoto guru, Terence Devlin's, advice:
You can move your iPhoto Library to an external or secondary internal disk:
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library Folder as an entity from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space. -

Pictures can appear in any number of albums.
To move from one album to another, add the picture to the new album and then right click on the picture, select Remove from album and then select the album you want to remove it from.

Your signature says you have Leopard 10.5.8 - is this correct? (If it isn't please amend it). Leopard cannot access iCloud: Lion 10.7.2 is required. Have you actually opened an iCloud account (or migrated from MobileMe)?
if you do have Lion and have joined iCloud then your calendars should have been migrated to iCloud automatically. If this hasn't happened then the method for moving them is described in the first set of numbered instructions on this page - I emphasize that this is only possible on Lion. -
Does anyone know how I can move my very large iTunes music library folder off the computer and onto my fourth generation time capsule, which I'd like to use as an external hard drive?

Do you also plan to use the Time Capsule disk for Time Machine backups? If so, that approach has problems. For one, you don't be backing up your music library. For another, eventually Time Machine will consume all the space on that disk, which will cause problems for your music. -

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your purchased album.
First, I recommend trying to download the album from you list of past purchases. Use the steps in the section titled "Download previous purchases on Mac or PC > iTunes Store" in the following article:

If you have tried those steps and still do not see the album, it may be that the album is hidden. Follow the steps below in iTunes on your computer to check if it is hidden and unhide it:
To unhide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
If you're not already signed in, choose Store > Sign in.
Choose Store > View My Account. (You may be asked to enter your password again).
On your Account Information summary, scroll down to the "iTunes in the Cloud" section and click Manage.
Choose a content type by clicking Music, TV shows, Apps, or Books from the top.
Click the Unhide button next to the item you would like to restore.
Note: If the item you are unhiding is not already downloaded on your computer locally, it will begin downloading automatically.

You need to combine all the links to one HTML file.
You only need a file with Anchor links like this:

If you export bookmarks to an HTML file then you create a copy of your bookmarks and you edit that copy and you do not affect the original bookmarks.

perhaps it would be less expensive to just install a new disk with a larger capacity on your current MacBook Pro, rather than plan on buying a new Mac with a larger disk? Once your current disk has been cloned to the new disk, and the new disk has been installed into your MacBook Pro, that would allow you to keep Photoshop 5 on your current MacBook Pro. -

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First you should try logging out of your iTunes Store account (settings > iTunes Store > accounts) and then back in again.
If that doesn't help, try resetting the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings). You should also try restarting your router.
If both of the above don't help, you should try a restore (Settings > General > Reset > Restore). -

How do I get my iphone to go back to the normal screen? I was in the middle of updating my iPhone's software, therefore it was plugged into my computer and synced to my iTunes. However my iTunes alerted me that it needed updating first and so I did. Had to restart my computer, all the while, my iPhone is attached. Once I try to sync my iphone with my itunes, it now pops up with an alert telling me to restore my iphone before syncing. I have already tried restarting my iphone and plugging it back in, and plugging it into the charger, but nothing changes. Everytime I restart the phone, it ends up on the same screen telling me to plug in the usb to itunes. Help please! How do I just get back to a normal screen so I can ultimately update the software on my iphone the correct way!?

from the information you provided i can't tell if it is a hardware problem or a software problem. I do have an idea though, try to press your home button and lock button at the same time.
