How do I move my video files and still have the timeline in it?

Ok, I've backed up my iMovie that I am currently working on. However, when I transfer the data to my computer from an external drive it loads all the clips, but none of them are in the timeline. How do I put the timeline back in place? I've done this before.

I'm not really sure how to describe my problem anymore. I know that everytime I make a movie it makes a clips folder and a cache. It also makes another file outside the folder with the same title of the movie. Hmm, I'll just redo it if I can't figure this out.
I am using the current version of iMovie.

I understand that you have added a clip or project to iMovie Theater but would like to continue working on it. When you upload the project to iMovie Theater, the original project remains in iMovie where you can edit it further.

Well, it appears that your backup is corrupt, thus causing your issue. So, you'll have to restore as a new device, & not from backup. Follow this by syncing your content back to your phone:

How do I lock the location of a table and still have the ability to edit it?

I actually have two questions.
1. I have a table that I made a master object for the purpose of having it on two pages. Becuase it is a master object, I am unable to input data into it. I'm fine with this because it's important this table remain exactly as it is. So I made another table with the same dimensions and put it on top, and turned off all the lines so you can only see the underlying table, and any data inputted looks as if it belongs to the master object. However, I spent an embarassingly long time trying to get the second, top table in position and I don't want it to move. Is there a way to lock it's location and still have the ability to input data?
2. I would like to copy and paste the above-mentioned second table. However, when I do so, the dimensions change. Some of the rows line up with the master-object underlying table, but some are way off. I have no idea why this would be. I went into the settings of both and made sure their measurements were the same. Rows, columns, x, y; everything. As a temporary solution, I made the top-table a master-object, which put it on both pages and then I 'unmade' it a master-object.
Any ideas? Thanks for your time!

This may not be the most efficient method, but drag it to your desk top. Delete the image in iPhoto, re-import the image and merge it into the event where you want it.
You may also consider posting this query on the iPhoto forum. You will have a wider audience and one that is oriented towards this application.

I do not believe this.. you can not disable auto correct without disabling the spell checker.. I am struck dumb by this.. I recently bought a mac for the first time.. ive always used windows.. there are more thngs like this than i expected.. I actually find this so ignorant I am lost for words.. this auto correct is a nightmare for me.. and has already caused me a lot of trouble because I have sent emails where words have been changed and i didnt notice and I have unknowingly insulted people.. i use a regular spell checker quite often but apparently I simply have no choice with safari.. oh well I am going to have to find another browser then.. goodbye safari!.. I also use a lot of shortened words and names etc etc.. like for eg I used the shortened word for problems "probs" and it changes it to "probe" and then i go back and change it back to WHAT I WANT TO SAY and it changes it AGAIN!!!!
Does anyone else feel like this is yet another example of how, more and more, we are being treated like morons?
Ok I'll try to stop ranting.. the real point is it should be possible to have a spell checker without auto correct..

I want to upgrade my computer and did a Windows Easy Transfer to my new one. My Firefox bookmarks did not show up on my new computer so I used Firefox Sync-which worked fine. Now that I have the bookmarks on the new computer, can I erase the old computer and still have the bookmarks on the new one.

First, disconnect your old computer from Firefox Sync so you don't accidentally delete the data from sync, but then yes you should be good to go.

That's not easy. The Windows migration tool makes a new user account, and you can't prevent it.
You may be able to transfer what you want manually, but it's not quick or easy. See Transferring files from one User Account to another.

Brand new HP Phoenix h9-1183, Windows 7 64 bit SSD only 99.2 GB, data drive E: 2 TB.
When tried to transfer files from old HP desktop to new Phoenix, I got the message that there was not enough space. When I took a closer look, I was surprised that only 99.0GB was assigned to the OS. I have been trying to figure out how to remove some of the programs that came with the computer (i.e. DVD Maker, Windows mail, Cyberlink Power DVd, Power2go etc.) from the C drive onto the E drive where there is more space. Also if I could move my library (documents, pictures, music, vide etc.) to E drive that would give the OS drive more space for updates etc. I have been searching for the how to, but have discovered that the program files and user files which contain the library etc. should not be moved according to Microsoft and if they are they won't cover any service. Tried to contact them with my problem (and it seems this will become a bigger problem as more and more of the newer computers containing ssds are going this way with little space in the C: SSD) and I got the message to contact my computer manufacturer. Tried seeing on the HP help and support if there is a solution for this and saw nothing. So here I am with a new computer and I've spent a couple of weeks now trying to set things up and searching for a way to allow more hard drive space. I found this site ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKTNmoq2zXI&feature=fvwrel) on how to move user files from C onto new drive, but it only works for 1 folder (I moved my video folder and then when I tried to move my pictures, it got messed up and I had to do a restore. How can i move a video file from itunes to my camera roll

I am trying to relocate vids i made with another device and imported to my itunes to my camera roll or other app (files box, private camera, photofolders etc...) Is it possible? Will I have to change the video formats? They are all mp4 vids.

If they are in a compatible format then you should be able to sync them by selecting the iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (on iTunes 11 you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), and then use the Photos tab on the right-hand side of iTunes to select the folder that they are in on your computer and sync them (if you are already syncing photos to your iPad then you will need to include their folders with the sync, otherwise they will be removed from your iPad)

How do I write an excel file and check what the next empty column would be to put the data in?

I have somehow managed to write the portion of labview that prompts the user for a name. It checks a file to see if they are a new user or not and then assigns a number if they are. The program then acquires data that is to be put into a spreadsheet. Each subject will have ten trials which will have three columns. How do I get the information into the columns and then check each time to see which column it should go into (i.e. the next empty column for that subject). I have attached what I have thus far. I wrote this a long time ago and haven't touched it for some time so everything is a blur.

To perform those operations in excel you will use ActiveX. I will attach some examples of using Excel in LabVIEW and you can use these to do exactly what you want.
These three examples show how to manipulate properties, write to excel and read from excel. Let me know if there is more I can do.
