  • How do I move Flash CS6 from an old computer to a new one?

I installed CC and CS6 on my computer when it was first introduced years ago. Now I need to upgrade to a new computer. The CC on the new computer does not show Flash CS6 support. I require AS2 since I have created many apps with it for my customers and need to continue to support them. I do not intend to switch to AS3 because I have too many old apps to change over.
How do I install Flash CS6 on my new computer so I can remove it from my old one and get rid of it?
    Thanks!

You can install Flash CS6 on your new machine with your Creative Cloud subscription.
Sign in with your Adobe ID on the page https://creative.adobe.com/products/flash. You can then toggle the version from CC to CS6 and click the blue Download button. This will make the Creative Cloud app download and install the CS6 version.

  • How do I get the sync of my 3GS on my computer to transfer everything (files, apps, etc.) to my new iphone4?  And then how do I move the sync to a newer computer so I can sync the new phone with the new computer?

How do I get the sync of my 3GS on my computer to transfer everything (files, apps, etc.) to my new iphone4?  And then how do I move the sync to a newer computer so I can sync the new phone with the new computer?
My 3GS is dying and it's synced to an older computer.  I have tons of datafiles as well as apps, music, text messages, etc. that I need to get moved to the new iphone4 I'm getting.  Then I need to move the sync to a newer computer so that I can sync the new phone and new computer.
I understand how to get my apps to transfer to a new pc.  That's not the issue.  It's getting ALL the data from the 3GS to the 4 and then to a new computer.
    Thanks.

Thanks much, that's very helpful for step one (getting old phone onto new phone).  Very clear.
However, I still have the problem of moving to the new computer.  How do I move the sync to the new computer after the new phone is set up?

  • How to move photoshop cs6 to a new computer

how to move photoshop cs6 to a new computer

    1. Be sure you have your serial number.
    2. If you have only used one of two installs, install and activate on your new computer (as a precaution), then proceed to step 3. If your second install is currently used, proceed to step 3 without installing.
    3. Deactivate on you old computer and uninstall. To deactivate, open Photoshop and go to Help>Deactivate.
You may use Photoshop on two computers at any one time. By deactivating, you may change to different computer(s).
You can find the installer here: Download CS6 products

  • I got a new computer but my itunes is still on my old computer.  how do i move my itunes to my new computer and get it off of my old computer

I now have my daughter's old laptop computer.  She had her itunes account on it previously and now has her music libraries, etc. on her new laptop.  I just uploaded itunes to her old computer so I can put my own music on the computer.  But itunes still shows my daughters 2 apple devices on the old laptop - her iphone and her ipod.  How can I put my devices on the old laptop and make sure I don't mess up her devices that she syncs, etc. to her new computer?  I have an 'older' nano that I put music on years ago using a laptop (that no longer works) that I'm trying to put more music on.  I also just got an ipad so am using my new apple account now (I can't even remember my old account information).

    Hi BeckyNJ,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I found the following information that may help you transfer your iTunes library from your previous computer to this new one:

  • How Can I move my Photoshop into a new computer?

My laptop broke down. I downloaded my Photoshop from web. How can I move my Photoshop into my new laptop? I have an electronic receipt and my serial number.

Thanks for asking this, it will be great reference.
I am curious though, because I know photoshop CC has a 2 computer installation limit. If my first computer broke down before I can attempt to deinstall photoshop and install it in a new computer, does that mean I have lost 1 installation limit for photoshop?

  • How do you move songs/playlists to a new computer?

Have uploaded songs from CD's and created playlist and want to move them to a new computer.  What is the best way to do this?

See these support docs for options: How to move your music to a new computer and How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer.
My recommendation is to backup the library to an external drive with the method in this User Tip, and then use the same tool to restore the backup onto the new computer. Thereafter you would backup your library on a regular basis to ensure against disaster.

  • A Varation on the How do I move my music to a new computer question.

I have a new (Win 7) computer with which I want to use my I-Tunes music library.  Currently the library itself resides on an extern (USB) hard drive connected to my old computer (Win XP).  However, the library files (itl and xml) reside on the internal hard drive of the old computer.
My problem is that part of the transfer is easy and obvious, but the rest of it seems unclear to me.
I'm pretty sure I could just plug the external drive into the new computer, and in ITunes on the new computer, set the folder location on the hard drive as the location of my library and then add the content to the library and have access to my full library.
Except, I would not have the play-lists.  They are sitting in the itl file on the old computer.
So, my question is:  How do I move that information as well?
I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
    John

HT4527 should cover it, as explained above.

  • How do you move photos from iPod to new computer?

Just got a new computer with Windows 7 (I think) after using an old (really old) one. All my photos are on my iPod and the FAQ says they can be moved from it to the new computer if I enabled disk use (which I did). But it doesn't say how to actually move them. Can anybody help?

1.Turn on your computer. Close any applications that might slow the photo transfer.
2.Connect your iPod to your computer with the cord that came with your iPod. Make sure you have turned on the iPod.
3.Open iTunes. Wait for iTunes to register that your iPod is connected. If the screen does not register that a connection, disconnect the iPod and try again.
4.Click on the "Photos" tab below your iPod on iTunes. Look through the photos stored on your iPod.
5.Drag photos from the photos folder on your iPod to the desktop. You may also drag these pictures to a photo editing application, like Photoshop or Photosmart. Move any other images from your iPod to your computer.

  • How do I move my Itunes library to new computer?

I have a new computer and two Iphones and one Itouch. One Itunes account.
I have a new computer running windows vista. I have most of my library on my older iphone but when i connected it to my new computer only some songs where transfered. When I go to sync my Iphone it says that the iphone is synced with another computer. I still have the old computer but want to sell it and already have a buyer.
I have a new Iphone plus the existing one and I also have an Itouch. I want to have the ability to have all my music on the new computer and to have the ability to connect both Iphones and the Itouch to the same computer. Each one would be able to load music from the same library. I also have two laptops which have itunes loaded. I know you can have up to 5 computers on one account and I have not exceeded that.
If possible, if there is a solution can you really dumb down (simplify) the solution.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Probably the most straightforward way to get iTunes onto your new computer is to network the two over ethernet and copy your iTunes folder across. This works fine if you have been using iTunes to completely manage your music and all your songs are in iTunes Music not in different folders. If the songs in your library are not all in the iTunes Music folder you can consolidate them. When you consolidate, any songs in the iTunes Library that are not in the iTunes Music Folder are copied to the Music Folder and the Library is updated to point to those new files. Files already in the iTunes Music Folder have no changes made to them:
Copying all your iTunes files to one location - Mac
OS X 10.5 - Connecting two Mac computers using Ethernet
Another way is to put your original computer into target disk mode and copy the data over Firewire: How to use FireWire target disk mode
Copying the whole folder brings with it the iTunes Music folder and also the iTunes Library (iTunes Library.itl in Windows) database file which holds all the information about your songs (Playlists, Ratings, Play Counts, Last Played, Date Added, etc). You'll get more information including the Folder/File structure in this article: What are the iTunes library files?
When you copy the iTunes folder make sure you put it into the same location on the new computer. This has to be the exact same place, on a Mac this would be in Username/Music/. Everything has to be exactly the same on the new computer including the Mac user account name. When you open iTunes on the new computer it will be the same as on the original one Songs, Playlists, Play Counts, Ratings etc. You should also use the same version of iTunes on both computers.
If you have any iTunes purchases in your library don't forget that you'll need to authorise your new computer to play them: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation

  • How do I move Photoshop CS4 to a new computer?

I would like to move Photoshop CS4 from an old computer to a new one. Both are MacBookPros. Do I deactivate the license and then reactivate it?

The first thing you should know is that you can't "move" Photoshop to another computer. You must reinstall from the discs using your serial number.  Migrating or recovering from backup will give you a licensing error.
Since you have two activations. You can install and activate it on your new Macbook.  You'll want to keep CS4 on the old Macbook as a backup unless you are selling or disposing of it. It's a good idea if the CS4 runs into problems on the new Macbook. (Hopefully not)
That's it. Any further questions, let me know
    Gene

  • How do I move Elements 11 to a new computer?

I recently bought a new computer and would like to move Photoshop (Elements 11) which I purchased in Sept. 2013 to the new computer.  What is the appropriate procedure?

"Move" may not be the right word here. What you want is "Install" on
your new machine using your DVD and serial number that came with it.  If
    this is your second installation then it will activate automatically;
Otherwise you can do either of these two things:
    1) Deactivate from one machine by going to:
    Help >> Deactivate
    2) If the machine has crashed and you can't do the deactivation as
explained in (1)  then you need to start a chat line with Adobe Customer
Service and explain to them and they will activate the program for you.
If you also wish to transfer your catalog on to the new machine then go to:
    File >> Backup Catalog
Save this back up on a flash drive and then insert the flash drive on
the new machine and do this:
    File >> Restore Catalog
You need to be in Organizer to do this.

  • Question - how do I move Acrobat 9 Standard to new computer from old one

Question - how do I transfer Acrobat 9 Standard from old computer to new one

    Hi Jonno2a,
A single license for Adobe software lets you install the software on two computers. However, you can use the software on only one computer at any given time.
If you want to install the software on a third computer, deactivate the software on the computer on which you will no longer use the software. Then, activate the software on the new computer. Uninstalling software does not deactivate it.
You need to deactivate the software first by going to the 'Help' menu within Acrobat and select 'Deactivate'.
You can then go ahead and install Acrobat 9 Std. on your other computer and activate it with the serial number.
