How do I move song files from the documents file to iTunes?

I have a bunch of songs in the AIFF format in my documents file. I'd like to move them to my iTunes library, but I must be doing something wrong--many times. Since expecting different results from doing the same thing is a definition of stupidity, I have to ask for help instead of trying the same thing for the 42nd time.

It worked! and on my first try. And all at one time. Thanks a million. I still have to delete all the AIFF files and name the songs and artists in my iTunes library, but I'll do that tomorrow. For now, I'll just close out my day with this great achievement, thanks to you.

It sounds like you might have your Apple TV set up for streaming, rather than syncing. On your Apple TV (this is for the old version, but it may be the same on the newer one), you go to the heading all the way on the right to the "Settings" menu. Choose "computers". If you have a "shared" library, you'll want to remove this. Once you have done this, you'll want to sync with iTunes (I believe it is similar to this, do not choose "Add shared iTunes Library", the only other choice). Apple TV will provide you with a code, which you will enter on your computer. At that point, it will automatically start syncing all your stuff off your Apple TV to your computer (make sure you have a lot of room on your HD). It also automatically will sync a certain number of items to play directly from your ATV, rather than your home directory - however, if you sync it so that nothing is on your ATV (and nothing syncs to your ATV) then all of your content will show up in "MY ..." under the item (i.e. TV shows, Movies, Music....) Anything you buy on your ATV will automatically sync with your computer and be removed from the ATV after it is done downloading.
If you don't have room for everything, then you'll have to use do the reverse of the above, and after syncing some of your stuff to your computer, remove the library, and re add it back as a "shared iTunes Library", which will allow you to see those items on your computer when it is on, and itunes is running (this is true regardless).

That article is about using your iPod as an external hard drive, to move files from one computer to another computer. It is not related to your question.
You can't use iTunes to move song files from iPod to computer, except for songs you purchased from the iTunes Store (and you can also re-download purchases). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can move song files from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your current computer, add them to that computer's iTunes library by dragging the files (or folder containing the files) to the iTunes window. After confirming everything is there (and fixing the data issue you mentioned) you can sync the iPod. You may want to do a Restore on the iPod, if it might have a data corruption issue, which will erase the iPod's hard drive, re-install the latest software, and set it to defautl settings.

I am not aware you can extract a single photo or a single app's content from the backup, you can either restore the whole backup to your phone or not restore. If you restore your last backup to your phone then any content that is currently on your phone will be replaced with what was on it at the time that the backup was made - so if you do decide to restore, first copy off any purchases to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases, and copy any documents/files that you've udpated on the phone since the backup.

The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

An "iTunes account" is an online account you use for buying music, like a bank account. An iTunes collection is the media you see when you open iTunes. Which do you mean?
If it is two computers, it would also help to know where these are located. Are they on the same local network? If they are, try Home Sharing (and you have control of both and you aren't just trying to get music fro your computer to your friend's computer in another state). If they are not, you'll have to use an external hard drive or flash drive.

Report "General Ledger from the Document File" - Cumulative balance

Hi!
When I start the report "General Ledger from the Document File" (transaction S_ALR_87100205), I get a list of documents with no obvious default sort order criteria (I can see at glance that document numbers and posting dates are not sort criteria). This makes the cumulative balance column completely useles.
Since the cumulative balance is carried from one row to another, standard sorting functionality for the already produced list makes no sense.
There should be a way to affect the sort order in program <b>before</b> cumulative balance calculation, or at least to find it out.
Is there a way to acomplish this?

In the output control section there is a button called configure. Select a variant. Select configure. Save the sort order and report definition the way you want it. Name a new variant. Now go back and run the report with your variant.

I am writing an application that is going to show the grid of tiles. Each tile should have picture that is frame from some particular video.
Basically something similar to Photos or Videos - standard Windows Phone app.
The question is how can i extract any picture from the video to put it as picture of the tile or button?

Can anyone tell me how to separate original photo files from the edited files in Photoshop Elements 13?

We run a child sponsorship program and we only use the edited files and delete the originals after they are edited due to space restrictions. We are using Mac's and we save our photo files each month into a folder (Not Iphoto) and then pull them into Photoshop Elements 13 to edit and resize. When they are saved, Photoshop Organizer saves the edited files in the same file folder as the original. We then have to manually go through and delete the original Photos. We tried exporting and that does only export the edited files, but is there any way to edit photos and then the edited photos go into a separate file?

I imagine that what you want, once you have edited your month files in their month folder, is to delete the original and keep only the 'top' file in the version set. Then select all the files in your folder (Ctrl A), right click on any thumbnail and choose 'Version set'. In the dialog that opens, select 'flatten version sets'.
